Who ate all the pies?
Can only assume that the extra costs this week would have been additional premium time for the travelling EDINBURGH staff :D Still long waiting time for service pre-match and half time .

todays crowd
I heard some pretty serious accusations being aimed at Dougie Imrie yesterday via song and abusive shouting. What would be interesting to know would be if these accusations can be substantiated or if it was fans who are pissed off at the likely hood Dougie will be leaving us come January. If anyone can PM me with the answers that would be great so that I can work out whether it is a section of our fans who are ar$eholes or whether Dougie is the ar$e. Off topic ! I hardly heard a thing all afternoon :D

Who ate all the pies?
Am I missing something here..................experienced a long wait for a coffee and steak pie BEFORE kick off......prices through the roof and service worse than ever. At half time missed the first ten minutes of the second half waiting for a fecking coffee!! The staff on the stall were all young kids from Edinburgh !!! Surely there must be a LOCAL business that can provide a professional service (both cost and quality) once a fortnight at a reasonable price?? Premier league prices should have went last season with our status...................poor bit of business in my humble opinion, ?2.30 for a Balti pie, a range of burgers stating at ?3.00.......get a grip :021:

You must have had your crystal ball out for this one!! Remembering back to his performances for the Dons against us last season, was'nt to excited about the loan deal, however after his performance in midfield today he may just be the talisman we need to get that department working and the balance of the team in general ticking over?? Was impressed by both his workrate and use of the ball.................and Cox seemed to shine with a more experienced leader aongside. Glimmer of hope for me..............

Tokely's broken hand blow
Nooooooooooooooo! The times I've seen him there were catastrophic. One at Tynecastle makes me shudder. You may find this hard to believe, but Russell was actually signed as a STRIKER at Aberdeen. It was Ebe "pass the malt" Skovdhal who switched him to a midfield role. :icon_police:

Tokely's broken hand blow
This has been a really bad season for Rossco, between injuries and suspensions the lad has not had a chance to hit top form or fitness levels. I fear for our already fragile defence, having witnessed the last two capitulations on the road. Maybe it's time to give some of the youngsters a chance to shine.

Potential future manager
My understanding is that if running the team had been the only "pressure" on Charlie, he would have done fine (he had some pretty good results as boss) ..... but before you condemn him, just remember there was a ****load of internal politics going on at the same time and the pressures on him were not all related to running the team. Tough though it was to walk away from the post he wanted, he made the right decision at the time, and if he were to express an interest in the future (when there was less internal strife), I personally would have no qualms about giving him another shot. Having said that, all this talk of replacing Butcher is a waste of time anyway. We cannot afford to get rid of him even if we wanted to, and as I have said before (and I said about Charlie and Brewster when others began to call for their heads after 5 minutes), you need to give them time. Am i happy we have lost two league derbies so far this season, or that we have dropped points in games we might think we should have won, no of course I am not and TB may well prove to be the wrong man for the job but in my eyes, the jury is still out on that one. seems like we have two levels of discussion on here these days ...... "we did great, won a game and everything is great ...... BUT <insert problem/complaint here>" or "we lost, sack the manager, terminate contracts, blame Mike Smith (deprecated), sack the board" I know times are tough, we have lost games, we are all hurting, and we want ICT to be top of the league, but man oh man oh man, lets get back to being "supporters" because all we are looking like at the minute is gurning brats who turn on each other and our managers at the drop of a hat. Being a supporter doesnt mean we have to agree with everything, or that we cant be pissed off or raise concerns at how things are being run .... we can still moan or highlight deficiencies where they exist (and there are plenty to choose from), but every so often it would be great to see us support the team ..... some people do not seem capable of that. ICT's greatest era was in the 1st division where club, team and fans combined to form an awesome unit that made us impressive, hard to beat, and something we could all be proud of. The club have lost a lot of that ethos, but so have we and just reading the boards over the last few days (and responding very little - for me) I have wondered if we will ever get that back. Whether it is missiles being thrown at the game, or abuse of fellow ICT fans on here, this is turning into a very different club and set of fans than the ones I was once proud to be a part of. It's not often i've found anything to respond to on the forum in recent times, but you have hit it on the nail Scotty. Charlie, the ethos and primarily the gurning Barstewards. How I long for the days when our fans were united and most threads were interspersed with genuine humour. I can recall the days and weeks leading up to that first division title, presenting our case for promotion to all SPL members and the unity which held us in such high esteem. Whoever is at the helm at the end of the season one thing is for sure, a major reality check is needed..........second only to the club doing it's bit to get the youth of Inverness embodied into the club and not the teachings of the old infirm.

Dons Bounce Game !?!?!
OOPPPPSS :P !!!!!

Dons Bounce Game !?!?!
Just read a report in the Aberdeen EE on a 3-3 draw between Dons and ICT. Typical EE, gives the Dons line up but not ours. A strong Dons side scored through Tommy Wright, a Lionel Djedi Zadi deflection and Darren Mackie. Good news for ICT with Eric Odhiambo, Andy Barrowman and Shane Sutherland on target. Pissed off, as the game was played within walking distance for me at the Bridge of Don Barracks!!

If You Could Go Back In Time
At that price, I'd shudder to think what a Dishonest Man would charge for a pie! Was lucky enough to have one before kick-off Charles, worth every penny!! What gives me "severe indigestion" about our catering (apart from the scabby pies) is no downward adjustment in prices since relegation. The Ayr "special" was a promotional effort, however the rest of the catering prices were refreshingly cheap by comparison to the Dump.

Ayr Utd -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
"Where were the sesh/loyal army today though? It seemed to be some middle-aged guy with a dodgy goatee who was starting all the songs. " That was almost getting the quote of the day but Mantis won it hands down" awe dougie dinna just punt it intae the box...........cue Foran 5-1 ! :D ! Thought David Proctor was outstanding throughout although a great team performance.

Of course I am, I was having a dig at the Rangers "yooth" setup. :D Are you? Aye, been around since you were probably still in short trousers !!! Don't be fooled by the low number of posts, like a few of the older heads tend to just observe these days due to lack of time avaiable and "youthful" content.
