  1. Going by reports from those at the last 3 games, we have not played well in any of them. Is nobody else worried about this? Have we been rumbled and teams know how to play against us? have the players let all the plaudits go to their heads? any other reason? Or am I just a miserable auld git?
  2. Bad day at the croft. Had to happen some time. Still top though.
  3. Maybe potential fans come on here, read the drivel some post on here, and think, "jeez, if that is the type that follow ICT..."
  4. Ossett Town vs Burscough in the Evo Stick Northern 1st div is a possibility.
  5. Not sure one can say Butcher has assembled a full squad. ?? He certainly has a fine first 11. Not much on the bench though, unless somebody knows different? If we ge injuries or suspensions what can we do about it. The squad seems wafer thin to me. I am told rightly or wrongly that free transfers and loan players can be signed after the deadline if the club has room on the registration forms. We really ought to be looking for back ups. This is not a troll I am genuinly concerned with the bench. How many of the squad players have you seen play? I'd hazard a guess at none. Until you have been to U20 games, seen players play/train, I would stop talking about something you know nothing about.
  6. Sounds like a great performance again today. McKay had plenty opportunities to get his hat-trick. I never have believed in giving a player a penalty out of sentiment for his hat-trick. But with Billy's penalty record, I would have stuck with Vincent.
  7. Pics are here- http://www.caleyjags.com/pa/g/g.htm#A130824
  8. Adams seethes that "our season starts next week"
  9. Wonder if it would be worth taken Foran off before he gets sent off.
  10. Arrangements for Mikey's funeral here; https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=423733067742529&set=pb.227292744053230.-2207520000.1375475478.&type=3&theater

  12. RIP Wee man. Just been sent this. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=423555677760268&set=a.288934721222365.68883.227292744053230&type=3&theater
  13. Is there a bus going down from Inverness?
  14. Or was he Brake dancing?
  15. Innocent until found otherwise.
  16. We are playing 1st game at home v St Mirren. Not too bad a start. Down side is, only 1 home game v Celtic, Aberdeen, Cownty before split. Potentially a bit of a financial hit unless we get top 6 again.
  17. Theres the Antigallican on Woolwich Road (very close to the Valley), not the best pub but a lot of away go there as its the first place you stumble across from Charlton train station. Personally Id recommend The Rose of Denmark a bit further down Woolwich road, has that proper football pub kind of atmosphere, and it welcomes away fans. Ill be at the Rose so it would be great to meet some of you in there, dont worry us Charlton fans are a friendly lot! There is alcohol served inside the ground but youre only allowed to drink it inside the concourses, and necking a couple of beers in 15mins isnt the best way to enjoy a bevvy... We are staying in the Antigallican on the Saturday night. Hope the locals keep the noise down, you know how I need my early nights.
  18. I thought that stopped after what happened last time? He made a full recovery I believe, but only seen him once since. His carer seems nice though.
  19. Charlton fans seem to be a bit underwhelmed at the prospect of ICT visiting. http://www.charltonlife.com/discussion/55626/inverness-calley-preseason-friendly-27th-july-at-home
  20. As far as signing Scottish players go, in a perfect world it would be great. Another concideration for young Scottish players could be the various Scottish national team managements who ignore Inverness/Dingwall. No young Scottish player, who feels he is good enough for the national team will go north to be ignored by Strachan or whoever is in charge. (A Shinnie was a 4th/5th choice by a caretaker manager so doesn't count ;-) )
  21. I hope so, those dates would be perfect. :-)
  22. What ever the team is that plays, I wonder how up for it they will be after yesterday. Reading on Twitter players not happy at numbers that waited behind for players to come out after game. And Doran in particular, getting abuse on twitter from ICT "fan/fans". Players/management must feel like they are farting against thunder sometimes!
  23. The players/managers also have to take a bit of responsibility. Players diving for free kicks and penalties, shouting for every throw in and corner that they know they haven't won, getting in refs face for most decisions, or groups of players surround ref after he gives a free kick/penalty. Managers constant nit picking of every decision on TV/radio after the game. If these things were to stop, the ref's would be under less pressure and probably get most decisions correct. Having said that, I still reserve the right to call the ref a w****r from time to time.
  24. Does Cllr Smith not realise, she is more likely to get more votes from the 000's of football fans, rather than the 50-60 in the Kirk. To those who vote in Cllr Smiths' area, vote her out next time and vote in someone who lives in 21st century!
  25. With Neil Lennon putting out weakened teams against County and St Johnstone, I fear the hope of European football, may be slipping away! http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/celtic/223658-celtic-boss-to-sacrifice-spl-wins-for-cup-final-and-european-qualifiers/
