League Cup Semi Final CJT statement
Great work from everyone at CJT. Changing time, date and getting a train, were always going to be long shots. But to get the ICT section changed and 10 buses at a great price, excellent work. The grumpy git in me now. Shame the Sun is involved. Disgusting publication.

Venue for League Cup final? (my travel plans)
With Pre and half time refreshments in the Cairns. Sound like a plan. Get CJT to run it past Doncaster!!

Best Media team in Scotland
Well done to the ICT media team who have came top in Scotland, 24th UK wide, in a review of 148 football/Rugby/cricket club social media in UK. It is worked out on the clubs use of articles/messages posted on Twitter/Facebook, including use of video, images, audio, official apps and links. No suprise who is dwelling in the shadows of the league table. Ross Cownty, 148th of 148!!! http://www.sport.socialmediaindex.co.uk/

Hearts -V- Inverness CT
2nd half bit better than 1st obviously. 2 well taken goals by Mckay. How Watkins never got a penalty just before the 2nd goal is beyond me. It was a tackle that would have been applauded at Murrayfield. Maybe the ref was remembering his dive in 1st half. I won't be watching the 1st half on Alba, it was just so bad. Watching Hull game hoping for a draw for a coupon to come in!!

Hearts -V- Inverness CT
Well apart from Dorans attempt, that was dire viewing.

Watkins takes a dive in the box. Lucky not to get booked.

Nice touch from Hughes. Trying to strangle the Hearts kids before the game. Very funny.

Scottish Cup 5th round draw:Stranraer
They've scalped a couple of minnows though, can't remember their names As Sneckboy said, Auchinleck Talbot would have been their most difficult cup game this season, so far. Should be goals in the game. In Stranraer's 7 cup games so far this season, 26 goals for and 21 against

Mulled Wine & Mince Pies with the Manager
Great idea. Maybe some of the dissenters could go and speak to the man himself and put their concerns to him.

Scottish Cup 5th round draw:Stranraer
Happy with that. Dumfries p*ss up Friday night, Stranraer p*ss up all day Saturday. Booked up and canny wait.

The new manager thread
If it turns out to be Hughes, I won't lie, I'll be very disappointed. If he is the best we can come up with after 4 weeks, then I have doubt as to the "quality of applicants" claim a few weeks ago. But I did have doubts when the last manager was appointed, so its only fair to give him a bit of time to show his worth.

Scottish Cup 5th round draw:Stranraer
243 miles to Cumbernauld. 251 miles to Stranraer. So not much difference for us. Cheaper digs at Cumbernauld would sway me to going there, but Cumbernauld itself puts me off. Stranraer, stopped to throw dogs in the sea and got a nice Haggis there. Thats about all I know about it. Will try and make it where ever as we will miss Semi Final

November manager of the month dilemma
It should be given to the players and coaches. They have done a great job of carrying on with their job in a most professional manner under some unusual circumstances. Which in itself, deserves an award, never mind the great results they have had.

The new manager thread
Owen Coyle has just been sacked. Could be worth a phone call.

CJT cup semi final statement
The SPFL issued a statement on November 18th which said: "...the final decision on timings and venues for matches rests solely with the SPFL." So it would have been a 12.15 kick-off, on a Sunday if the BBC were not involved?
-
CJT cup semi final statement
Great effort by CJT. Might not have got what we wanted this time but if it prevents the SPFL from treating ICT as 3rd class fans in the future, it has been worth it. As for Doncaster's offer of help with transport. I asume any expense that they incur will come out of the pooled money from the 2 games. So all 4 clubs will be paying for their and BBC's incompetence.

Butcher offski?
I think there will be.

Richie Foran Signs On With ICT!
Excellent news. With Brill and Foran signing longish contracts the week after the ex manager leaves, coincidence?

League Cup Semi Final Draw - Hearts!
Us, Aberdeen, St Johnstone and Northern Hearts fans all travelling to Edinburgh on the same day - can't see that happening. If they moved the location of the game and gave us a lunch time Saturday, that could work. Edinburgh gets 60000 at Murrayfield for a Scotland game, there can't be more than 45000 at both games. and they would be staggered. 12.45pm and 3pm in opposite sides of the city. I started thinking about this tounge in cheek, but I might be on to something.

League Cup Semi Final Draw - Hearts!
Looking at trains, even a lunchtime kick off on Saturday would be a lot better. There are at least 2 trains that will get there in plenty of time for kick off from Inverness from only £22.60 rtrn. And the fact that I could then get to the game didn't cross my mind!

Curtis Allen?
I never rated Sutherland as a premier league player. He has played 15 times for Elgin scoring 4 goals in 3 games. That will be his level. I haven't seen Curtis play so cannot give a proper opinion, but the fact that he has so few 1st team appearances for the 5 clubs he has signed for in 7 years says it all for me.
