  1. I actually am happy that we may be in the Championship for a couple of seasons.
  2. Play better football, climb the table and have a cup run are the only things that will bring back extra punters. I know quite a few away team fans who have or will be making the trek to Sneck as it is a throwback to them and a new day out. Next season will be different.
  3. Calling all anoraks - Are there any clauses in the "rule books" that we could have cited as formal reasons to postpone the game. I cant ever recall a game being called off in such circumstances. I have however seen games kicking off late because the away team has got stuck in traffic. What would have happened if we had travelled in the early hours of Saturday and cam across the RTA scenario ?
  4. Perhaps Dumbarton did us a favour - lets just wait and see if there is a situation to compare this winter and again - feckin good on ya Robbo - speak yer feckin mind
  5. The Scottish Professional Football League has turned down a request from Inverness CT to have Saturday's game at Queen of the South postponed. The Highlanders suffered significant travel problems following a road traffic accident on the A9. Caley Thistle say they left Inverness at 13:00 GMT on Friday and only arrived in Dumfries at 03:00 on Saturday. "The strain and the stress on our players and staff has been terrible," said Inverness manager John Robertson. "They had to grab food at a service station at midnight as we hadn't eaten since 12:30 on Friday. We had run out of water on the bus by 20:00. "Our thoughts are with all the families of those involved in the crash and we hope they are all okay." An SPFL spokesman said there was "some discussion" about the situation but the conclusion was reached that the game should go ahead as scheduled.
  6. Looks like mine will be with Jeff on Chorley Market Street now
  7. As per usual the main question - What watering hole ?
  8. Nobody told me either and it is now too late to arrange travel and accommodation.

He is mixing up the stadium and the Aquifer - which again is being denied and is undoubtedly one of the reasons that Tullochs have given us the structure. When we move to the Bught the Dump will become a Natural Water Park.

But the Aquifer is there forever
  11. Hopefully we will be in the Bught Park Stadium by 2020.

It is always at this time of year that infamous Longman Aquifer creates problems.
  13. Just saw Danny Williams going in to buy a discounted top ?
  14. He's Jake the Peg with an extra leg ?
  15. I heard somebody say that he was a stunt double. At least I think that is what they said.
  16. Just realised who Graham Rae was at the Caddy - No 6 beside Meadowlark MacKenzie.
  17. Unfortunately the large majority of Caley and Thistle fans will look at their clubs' histories dying in 1994. If everybody had looked at the merger as being a "coming together" and a mere episode in history then our fan base would definitely be much increased. Robbo has got it spot on.
  18. It could off course be Long Man / Short Man
  19. Last night simply strengthened my desire to go Big Man / Wee Man which would have to lead to reinstating Oakley but also prioritising a Big Man striker in the next Transfer window. Bell and Baird did all right individually, esepecially Bell but I noted that they made similar "Wee Man" runs and actually got in each others way a few times. Robbo appeared to try and avoid any Big Man tactics and relied heavily on playing the ball out via the wing backs and heavily relying on Polly and Vigurs.
  20. I just felt that it was from the heart from both individuals and tinged with a hint of sarcasm from Rae who will be referred to as Flipper from henceforth.
  21. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICK
