  1. Inverness County FC playing at the Highland Spring Stadium, sited by the Tore Roundabout
  2. SILENCE IS GOLDEN - NOT !!
  3. Its not a whirlpool - Its a feckin aquifer
  4. I would have truly loved reading these posts in the Highland League days of the 70's and 80's but I would definitely have blamed the LSD. I for one have relished the journey and we are far from back to where we started. As Titus Livy once said to me in a Sneck Pizzeria "Johndo, Inverness Caledonian Thistle has grown since its humble beginnings that it is now overwhelmed by its own greatness."
  5. Cant help but chuckle at his Official Facebook page but cant help but like the bloke. Back in the Guinea national team squad and scoring goals for Prachuap FC in Thailand. He might be over 7,500 miles from the Caledonian Stadium but reminders of the Highlands still follow him. Each Instagram post is usually greeted by a friendly comment from those of a Caley Jag persuasion and Doumbouya credits them as the best fans he has ever played for. Contact is still made with former team-mates, like Larnell Cole, Ross Draper and Jake Mulraney, and he still holds great affection for Inverness. He said: “I get a lot of messages from supporters when I scored for St Polten, or played for the national team. They’re the best supporters I’ve ever had.” Well worth befriending on Facebook
  6. Perhaps they were waiting to get first dibs on the 450,000 shares ?
  7. So where has the allotment of 450,000 shares been communicated / advertised ?
  8. As Queen Getrude once said to me in the Fluke snug, puffing on a Hamlet cigar "Sir, thou does protest too much"
  9. Are we booking yon Social Club beside the ground ?
  10. Calling anoraks - when we suffered the nine red cards - what was the score at the time and what was the outcome ?
  11. I am afraid that it says everything to me when so many people are talking about leaving the game well before the final whistle. Personally I would not accept any argument against the notion that apathy off the pitch produces apathy on the pitch. I also suspect that some of the players will already be thinking about what they are going to do next season as some fans will be thinking about whether to renew their season tickets. Attending football matches just gets more and more expensive. As I have alluded to before - if I was Robbo I would be cracking the whip in regard to the next two games. I also feel that we should go more into attack mode like we did in the first half against Crusaders. May be an old West Ham adage but I would rather win 4-3 than 1-0, especially given the fare on offer these days.
  12. I never knew Mephistopheles worked for Tullochs ?
  13. MMM - Here is a quiz - How long have we been renting from Tullochs ? Multiply that number of years by 205,000 and what have you got ?
  14. I plead with posters to refer to the "Scotland's Aquifers and Groundwater Bodies" report, published in 2015, written jointly by British Geographical Society and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency. The report is written in the form of a manual for those with some technical groundwater (hydrogeological) knowledge, but also includes summaries for non-specialists.
  15. Perhaps they have more knowledge of Aquifers ?
  16. Looking at the players available today - without post match knowledge (and presuming that Tremarco is not yet match fit) I cant see what other opening 11 that JR could have started with. I would take six points against Dumbarton and Brechin (or even 4 with a share of points on Tuesday) plus a Challenge Cup win and then happily see out the season. BUT how did he line them up ? Also notice that Oakley got the Sponsors MOM ? And perhaps it is just looking for excuses but what part does the pitch play in our recent demise ? And lets face it indiscipline has definitely been a factor this season.
  17. Being out of the league means we can concentrate on the cup of vodka and Irn Bru.
  18. But yet another defensive "misjudgement" ??
  19. And it brought out the Caley faithful from ALL over the UK. I was at Berwick and QOS midweek - Think that there were under 20 on both occasions ? Oh and what about Stranraer in the cup replay ?
