  1. Relation - CC is his father
  2. Unfortunately this is typical of the Scottish football mentality and the continuing demise of Scotland on the international scene. To me this was always about Cellic wishing to prevent him making his mark in Scotland and falling prey to the likes of Aberdire, Jam Tarts or Sevco.
  3. Yip good draw away at Killie
  4. I would actually consider giving Draper the centre forward role with somebody with pace beside him.
  5. Well if you beat a fairly buoyant St Jones Town, fashion a worthy draw at Aberdire and come from behind to grab another well deserved point against the Champions elect the remainder of September and October should hold no fears. Dundee, Sevco, Killie and the Jam Tarts at home and only two away trips to Hamilton and Muvversmell. I would take 13-14 points from that lot. Interesting quote from Foran yesterday was that his main man management task was to keep the players who are not getting a regular game happy. I think that should be a bonus as I cant remember such competition for starting places for many a year and with people on the bench quite capable of fitting in. That of course means that everybody has to maintain a level of performance to ensure that they keep their places whilst the others have to be ready to take their chances. The back five basically now picks itself. There is lots of scope to change things in midfield and hopefully to play teams to fit in with the opposition we are playing against. I feel that pushing Draper forward was a masterstroke as it allows both he and Tansey to play their own games instead of vying against each other. Lets just hope that the last three games are not just lifting ourselves against the better teams and we can show the psyche to dominate some of the "lesser" teams. This is a great opportunity to cement ourselves in the top six and provide early breathing space from the anxieties of a relegation battle. And what a feckin difference from the shocking display in Embra.
  6. WHOOSH http://thesun.uk/6019B7pVT
  7. Now initially I was evidently biased and thought that it was a stonewall penalty and a sending off - Having seen the replays I stick by that although it may have been just outside the box. Some of my mates thought that Draper was very clever and played for it. If you look at the telly different angles suggest different perspectives. ME I now think that he did cleverly play for it - but SO WHAT ?. The referee should have booked him if it was a dive. ???
  8. Poor Dougal and my itching left upper arm
  9. Where did you end up Big Loon - hopefully with the young loonies
  10. Chorley Smileymometer adjudged from pub viewers who have rarely seen ICT before. FON WILLIAMS MOM by a wide feckin country mile - BEST EVER goalkeeping display by a Sneck keeper in years MAcKay Never really did much but neither did he do much wrong either TREMARCO To me he is the most improved player in the SPL. Some of my mates thought he was close to MOM WARREN Captain Fantastic and held the line well. MEEKINGS Probably at fault fer the second goal but also left unsupported. Otherwise solid in a very solid looking back four KING What a feckin peach of a goal as King Billy shuts off the secretarian songs from the away end. TANSEY Better display but frees from competition from Draper VIGURS Not shure if he should be the choice in these type of games. POLWORTH Simply NOT a wide player and I though that he was at fault for the first goal DRAPER In the hole as I have been advocating fer a long time. Tansey + Draper in midfield does not = Close to MOM - keep him there DOOMBAR I suspect that the statue of Flora moved more in the wind today. Lets hope he is unfit but he simply is NOT a lone striker - but FISHER is
  11. Have a nice day out Chloe. Will look out for you from the BEST seat for me. In my "Snug" in Chorley. If I was in Sneck I would be heading towards Section C in the North Stand. I take it that you are young and up for a song - not old and grumpy. And stay away from Caley 100. You will recognise him by the use of the word "FANNNNYYYY" being expressed intermittently.
  12. After you have gone through the feckin nonsense of picking up a ticket make your way to the North Stand. Go past the Family Stand and then past a myriad of glum faced, sweetie rustling, boring and silent majority and stroll towards the only part of the ground where the voices of the more devoted throng of supporters can be heard. This noise attraction can usually be heard throughout the match. If you find yourself in a seat where the silence is only disturbed by shouts of abuse towards ICT players then again move towards the noise of vibrant support. And finally there is usually a flock of yellow coated tits gathering in front of the noisy element.
  13. Be Careful Mr Bannerman when you next stagger out of the British Legion
  14. Mmmmmm can anyone remember the 70's ? I mean 1970's Would be like a cemetery without the yoof. And they create an atmosphere whereas I am more annoyed by adults who have a "go" as the players but keep deadly silent otherwise!!
  15. The key as ever is not to concede early doors and to take chances. Exactly what Cellic failed to do. We always seem to be suspect in the early and closing minutes of halves
  16. And the other results favoured us
  17. Is Meekings Central or Right back ?
  18. Have a sneaky suspicion that Meekings may be shunted to the right and McKay brought in to the centre. Both Raven and Horner would be suspect at Aberdire.
