The more kids we attract the better. It makes up for the thousands lost post-merger.

Matchday - Alloa v Inverness CT LC
I remember being in the Highland League. Fear fecks sake - it was practically pre season - it was away from home - playing on a tight pitch and stadium - against arguably the form team of the Cup so far who had already knocked out the holders and stuffed an equally vibrant Putridheid - it was their Cup Final - we have several new players gelling - we have a new manager looking at a new style of play backed by many, many fans - Cups always produce shocks and this was NOT really a big one. Snuff said

Matchday - Alloa v Inverness CT LC
Foran lets face it was a gamble and the cheapest option. And then he gets not a lot to spend, not a lot to work on, and we are Poundland buying - as much as in hope as anything else. This is "Survival" season and look out for a Sugar Daddy. We just cant play above our weight season in and season out.

How many ex Caley and Thistle fans do you know who support other teams ? Just Sussed that of the twenty main living friends that used to go to games with me that only two follow ICT. I also know six who have season tickets becos they live in Sneck but support other teams.

Now that does surprise me. We know how many fairy tale books have been sold but not a breakdown of the number of season ticket holders - Why ? Perhaps I could ask how many fans who live 50 miles from Sneckie have a season ticket ?

The Pride of the Highlands
Perhaps it is becos he was part of a "pride" that ravaged Inverness in 1993 - 1994 ?

Team for Alloa
Alloa are looking for a second Highland scalp in the League Cup after victory over Ross County in the group stages saw the holders knocked out. Jim Goodwin returns from suspension for the in-form hosts. Inverness CT winger Aaron Doran could start for the first time in 13 months following his return from a serious knee injury. Defender Josh Meekings and second-choice goalkeeper Ryan Esson will return to training later in the week. Caley Thistle sailed through the group stage of the League Cup but came unstuck at the weekend, opening their Premiership campaign with a 2-0 loss at Partick Thistle. Alloa have made a flying start to the season, maintaining their 100% record with a 4-0 win at home to Peterhead in League One. Inverness manager Richie Foran: "Alloa have had a great group stage. "They conceded less goals than us, finished top of their group, and had a great win on Saturday as well, scoring four goals against Peterhead. But I believe in my players." Alloa boss Jack Ross: "This will be a very difficult game against a full-time side, but I could not have asked any more from the players ahead of it.
