  1. Have'nt really watched it prior to Portland vs LA Galaxy tonite. Great crowd, good entertainment, loved the commentators but woeful football. Jhesus, Boyd moves less and at a slower speed and Beckham is allowed to be as lazy as he wants as he still has the touch. Donovan looks half the player that he did at Everton.
  2. I'd be gutted.
  3. What negativity. Your posts are becoming tedious and repetitive.
  4. Gawd - I remember when pre season training was tough.
  5. Too much feckin red.
  6. Personally I would recommend the Nip Inn on Grant Street (just ask behind the bar if somebody can pop across to the Spicy Spot for a mean curry) and the Keg on Baron Taylors Street - but may I suggest that you wear England tops in to those establishments. If you do decide on the Innes Bar may I suggest that you follow the "code" to ensure that you are not ostracised. Just say "can I have a double voddie and coke on the slate for Johndo please". And just watch that you do not get in to trouble as you may get sent to Coventry.
  7. Just narrowing down the recommendation options - are you teetotal or are you intent on getting ratersed. Do you come in peace ? Have you got any available females in yer group ?
  8. It must also mean that the fixture list will have to be ammended again as ya cant have the two feckers playing at home on the same day. Still one more feck up aint bad .................................unless ....................... the meeting continues !!
  9. What do peeple from Coventry eat and are you feckin rich ?
  10. As I alluded to on another thread I agree that Dundee may be the more attractive financial choice - with 4 televised Dundee Derbies in the offer plus the attraction to the Embra clubs and Aberdire. From an away traveller perception I have little to choose from, But I do feel for Dumbfarmlife fans becos if we were in there situation I would have said that the team at the foot of the division should stay up. Surely this should have been made clear in some feckin rule book prior to this debacle. Dundee must also now be the favourites fer relegation as they have no time to change their plans or the feckin finances.
  11. Thoughts ?
  12. Money is the string with which a sardonic destiny directs the motion of its puppets.
  13. is it a denby...tea tastes really fresh in those :-| Now that has shocked me my old china. That is my actual choice of cup, especially the discontinued "Gypsy" line.
  14. Becos they still feel that there is a Division 1 door "open" ??
  15. Surely one of the reasons that we do not splash out on players is that we actually do watch the books. To me it is as much about how we play and how we entertain more than anything else. Surely if you go to a game and feel that the team has tried to play football, that they are playing for the shirt and have that "togetherness" factor that yer hard earned spondoolicks are more readily handed over.
  16. Nope - it is becos they look like and act like a muppet.
  17. And that is probably the main reason that Dundee will be in the SPL next season. It may not be anywhere near a par but SKY could hype the Dundee and the Highland derbies. The "problem" will be the "fare" that is provided to the viewing public. This has undoubtedly been a highly stressful but huge learning curve for Kenny who has shown a lot of guts, and evidently the statement has been well considered this time, in hitting back with such a prompt retraction on behalf of the Muppets. Can I suggest, as surely is the case, that we keep our gobs closed from now on.
  18. In some ways is that not what some posters were calling for in the first place. Personally I feel that this was to be expected on the back of the Newco situation and, as I alluded to on another thread, the Board Meeting was probably as much to do with this as anything else. Again personally I feel that it could have been announced sooner or at least the potential knock on effect of the newco passed on to the club. And if more managers and chairman start making comments like this, especially from the realms of the SPL, then it will heap major pressure on the SFA, Regan and Doncaster. But wouldnt it be nice if all this Club 12 and where the Newco plays was done and dusted and we could return to the fitba. Goalkeepers 1. Ryan Esson 2. Antonio Reguero 3. Ed Baldy/Scott Mathieson Defence 4. Josh Meekings 5. Gary Warren 6. Chris Hogg 7. Graeme Shinnie 8. David Raven 9. Simon King 10. Tommy Cooper Midfield 11. Nick Ross 12. Andrew Shinnie 13. Martin Laing 14. Aaron Doran 15. Owain-Tudur Jones 16. Gavin Morrison 17. Ritchie Foran 18. Ross Draper 19. Liam Polworth Strikers 20. Shane Sutherland 21. Billy McKay 22. Jason Oswell 23. Connor Pepper 24. Ryan Watson In my personal opinion, taking in to account all the circumstances, this is now as good as we are going to get. It does have a mix of experience, potential, local yoof as called for. Lets hope that we play feckin football this season as well. The only major concern is that it is a squad filled with injury prone individuals and that also means that our discipline this season has also got to be regarded as a major issue.
  19. This is the kind of quote that I would like to see in the Sunday papers, accredited to Richie Foran on Sunday October 7th 2012.
  20. That is so comforting - I will be able to sleep better now. i believe he was heavily pressured into making this statement by the inverness board
  21. That is the other possibility but also perhaps a Bridge too far - the SFA will cite the concerns of the SPL clubs and the potential effect on the system as a whole withn the added promise of reconstruction. Then we - becos of the statement made by financially struggling muppets will be viewed by many as a significant precipitator - but (conspiracy theory) may have been financially beneficial to us via another "agreement".
  22. It is a pity that we cant rewind time as I could have made a feckin fortune for the club selling bricks to chuck at Hellgin *****e buses parked on the Carse Road.
  23. And after an all dayer to hellgin it has been recorded as yet another alcohol related presentation to A&E
  24. Possibly in the future all Newco tea cups will be.
