  1. Well times do'nt change - a feckin row over a Caley and Jeggie merger - can't wait to see what Dougal and Charlie Bannerman make of this. In the badge there would appear to be equal allocations of red and blue but does ths black cirumference outweigh the white separation line ?? Perhaps there will be a book written about this in the future. But what would its' title be ??
  2. Well ya feckin know now so we saved the cost of a stamp.
  3. It could have been called a really feckin stoopid name like Forza CaleyJags !!
  4. Why bother reading the book - just sing along to the song: Day after day, alone on the hill The man with Thistle scarf is keeping perfectly still But nobody wants to know him They can see that he's just a fool As he never gives an answer But the fool on the hill Sees the sun going down And the eyes in his head See the Heathmount spinning around Well on the way, head in a cloud The man in red and black talking crap out aloud But nobody ever hears him Or the sound he appears to make And he never seems to notice But the fool on the hill Sees the sun going down And the eyes in his head See the Heathmount spinning around And nobody seems to like him They all yearn for the Caley blue And he never shows his feelings But the fool on the hill Sees the sun going down And the eyes in his head See the Heathmount spinning around He just keeps following the Jeggies He knows that he's a tool Sneckie just laughs at him The fool on the hill Sees the sun going down And the eyes in his head See the Heathmount spinning around
  5. I have just e-mailed Roy McGregor and ordered a return taxi fare from Chorley in the New Year.
  6. I have fond memories of Nacho coming on as a trialist against Bristol Rovers.
  7. The oldest football still in existence, which is thought to have been made circa 1540, was discovered in the roof of Stirling Castle, Scotland, in 1981. The ball is made of leather (possibly from a deer) and a pig's bladder. It has a diameter of between 14–16 cm (5.5–6.3 in), weighs 125 g (4.4 oz) and is currently on display at the Smith Art Gallery and Museum in Stirling. I understand that Ross County are using this model.
  8. Well if that doesnt confuse Accrington then nothing feckin will.
  9. I think that the ya can buy the Jeggie one for 5 new pence.
  10. I have some potions that Kenny can put in their coffee.
  11. Now that is a PR stunt that is going to rebound on them.
  12. It is the loss or lack of the "togetherness" factor. There are no real "characters" in the team - in fact there are few who have shown the genuine "heart" for the shirt. The manner of performances and particularly the inane excuses after games added to the loss of faith. The majority of us have given all concerned another chance, the minority have decided that it aint worth waiting around.
  13. Didnt realise that Foran was suspended - that is a "massive" loss and will be very time that he is unavailable. Apart from Esson and Shinnie this is going to be a makeshift defence. I would be very surprised if Meekings isnt going to be one of the central defenders and will be paired with either Warren or King - but that will be a partnership that has never played together before. In many ways I dont think that OTJ is ready yet and I feared that TB would / will go fer a OTJ/Draper combination. The selection, tactics and formation is going to be crucial and a very early "test" to ascertain whether TB has altered his SPL thinking.
  14. I can wholly appreciate the annoyance of those fans who said that they would purchase after the Newco position and I wonder if the "confusion" over the misinterpreted press release has created an extra issue. The bottom line however must be the "satisfaction" effect and lets face it last year was atrocious. We really need to put on some performances to encourage the "doubters" to return. I also know of a few season ticket holders who have ICT as their second team and they have voted to stay away because of the standard of the football. Dare I dare to add that quite a few point at Terry Butcher and the fear that he will never change.
  15. So you are a Whalley then ??
  16. Cooper is out so I will have to take a chance on Raven at rite back. Midden are as bad as us though and will have Thompson,Goodwin, McAusland, Carey and McLean all out.
  17. Nikki will miss the feckin train
  18. And mabawsfc is one of them ?? And how could anyone as intellectual and astute as ma good self communicate with the Dingle mentality of Hyndburn ??
