From a psychological perspective it is interesting that the posts that are most likely to cause friction and "off topic" are often those short, blunt personalised "digs" which are usually delivered in a rather righteous, outraged, indignant manner by individuals who probably feel that they are more intelligent and upstanding members of society and are placed in a position to judge and deliver a moral verdict. These individuals evidently have no appreciation of the concept of freedom of speech, free expression of personal beliefs but especially a disregad for an injection of caustic, ironic cynicism. Should this not be in the Rumours forum ?? In his profile it says that he is 6ft 1inch and used to play for Stafford Rangers - as does his career history. Still he is English and from the lower leagues so he fits the bill. Had nine yellows and a red card last season so may therefore be a replacement for Tokely - He also appears to have a recurring ankle ligament problem - get him feckin signed.

I agree that we need to get through this season financially intact but we also need to get through this season embedded in the SPL and avoiding a potential dreaded play off situation. Stay in the SPL at the close of the 2012-2013 season then it is likely that further configurations will make us "safe" until 2015. That is why I wanted the consolodation season to be last season - and dont give me the injuries nonsense. That is why I now have to look at this season as being the consolodation season and that is why I feel that we need to spend that little bit extra to get a bit of experience in at the back and a goalscorer I doubt if that can be acquired via a loan signing. And Noel Intern - would you stop feckin moaning.

Charlie - have you been at the ground - the access and the parking is atrocious - and that pitch is going to cut up to feck.

Now that is the best post on the thread - Tinkerville are on a high but the SPL is a big step up and many of their players have either failed or faltered or never been at that level before. It irks me to say but they do have that "togetherness" feel though.

Agree to a degree but the proof is in the pudding and if they come up with the goods then they will have earned respect. The issue with many is not the players but the man management and the tactics. The problem is that inexperienced players need to have a system developed to fit in to. They also need to be played consistently in the same, favoured position and get a "run" in the team to boost thir confidence but experience shows that many can be reactively benched after one poor performance or persistently played out of position and/or becoming progressively more frustrated by perceived favouritism.
