Why is everyone having a pop at Butcher ?

Richie Foran
Wow - At least my negativity is tongue in feckin cheek. As I have been saying since pre feckin season. Foran has been played completely out of position - come on we all know where his best position is. He doesnt have the pace and movement now so we should be blending him in to play to his strengths. He is undoubtedly frustrated at his own performances, even taking one for the team and if I was up front looking at some of the rubbish we have been serving up then I would be shouting and bawling too. And TB evidently feels that he is a requirement and has played him through injuries and for full 90 minutes. So keep him where he is but let him expect to be replaced around the hour mark. Get him to modify his man management and get back in to the fans good books. Get him encouraging rather than chastising. Sorry but that responsibility and the change task is and has always been Terry and Mo's.

Thinking the unthinkable
OK I will get into bovver for us but Tullochs, Muirfield Contracts and Orion are planning a new 8,000 seater stadium and shopping complex close to the Tore Roundabout.

Does the league table lie
Lets just say that the bottom line is that the team in 12th position at the end of the season goes down. In many ways we have almost deserved to be there as we have been all over the place so far this season. But there is now light breaking into the darkened ICT tunnel and I certainly expect us to start climbing up the league and with application, consistency and much needed luck - I dont think that we will be in the relegation league for too long. I feel that Dumbfarmlife will begin to drift just as Hamilton did. A performance at Killie, irrespective of the score, would prove that Well was not just yet another brief and reactive improvement and then I feel that we could take real advantage of Mr Lennon's woes. Wouldnt it be really nice to kick start our season, move up a wee distance from the bottom and get the ginger nyaff the sack on the same weekend.

Got to disagree. I think narcissis are very attractive. There's nothing nicer on a spring day to see those beautiful yellow flowers brighten up the day. There is nothing more flowery and awe inspiring on an Autumn day than watching a side with a proper central defender, a captain in midfield, a young ignored striker leading the line, a more compact formation and a more effective system and a beginning of the "togetherness" bonding. Where the feck did that revolutionary influence come from ?

I cannot believe that after yesterdays display that some posters are still calling for the heads of Terry and Mo. Most of the best managers and tactitcians have looked around them for inspiration and this case is no different. Terry and Mo and CTO taking on the feckin world - nothing ridiculous in that - it is actually quite enlightening and is bound to bring back that lost sense of togetherness.

TERRY'S POST MATCH COMMENT
That is such an improvement - is it just me but could you not "feel" the passion ? - is it not me or has Terry been whingeing rather than motivating recently ?

That is a bit unfair as I felt that Scotty made a fair comment there. If we had all be calling out the changes this week then fair enuff but what happened today is what quite a few have been shouting out fer weeks. The word that I probably should have highlighted was : "It is no coincidence that comments and pressure from CTO posters has influenced decisions made on the playing side." In the magical universe there are no coincidences and there are no accidents. Nothing happens unless someone wills it to happen

Thanks - that makes sense now as to why Hogg stayed on - not shure if the other sub would have stopped the "collapse" - sounds like we were truly unlucky today.

Ah the bitter response of the blinded loyal. Fan pressure has hopefully saved our season. Coincidence is logical. In the magical universe there are no coincidences and there are no accidents. Nothing happens unless someone wills it to happen.

It certainly isnt but it can be challenged.

Lets face it - this is a small club and this Forum is a focal point. It is no coincidence that comments and pressure from CTO posters has influenced decisions made on the playing side. That makes it feel all the better that the majority of the changes that we have suggested have been taken on board. Thankfully the manner in which we have presented our suggestions has been constructive, albeit relentless and at times reverse psychology, and have usually been backed up with a clear rationale. It is nice to know that we can influence things, albeit indirectly, and hopefully our efforts will begin to pay dividends. So take a bow - the posters who stuck to their guns and ignored some of the derision mooted by the blinded loyal. Respect to the outspoken

Here is me sounding critical again and will wait to hear from those in attendance but it will be interseting to hear why it was Meekins who was hooked and not Hogg - as there must have been concerns about playing him fer a full 90 minutes.
