  1. Lennons tactics are apalling - thankfully - hope he doesnt take Samaras off.
  2. Just watched the incident several times and listened to the views of Strachan and Hateley. It will stand as the referee undoubtedly made the decision at the time and watching it in full motion Tansey does raise his arms and does look at Samaras before the challenge. It appeared that he was trying to put Samaras off (which he didnt need to do) and he gave the ref a decision to make. It once again calls fer a look at or discussion with the fourth official instead of immediately flashinng the red card.
  3. The referee has certainly ruined the game - again !! Lets just hope that Lennon sticks to the Samaras ploy and the hoof - hope the wee ned doesnt read this as I would be hooking one of the front three, putting on Commons and playing it wide all the time to stretch us. I will be advising Tel to pull back Foran into the middle - sticking Tade on the last man - and getting the ball wide to Hayes as much as possible - and stick Davis rite in front of the defence - or (wait for it) - replace Hogg with Proctor as I dont think that Hogg is match fit and is also on a yellow.
  4. That is absolutely shocking - it was a flailing unintentional arm that slapped Samaras in the eye and he went down like a sack of coals. Even the Cellic players were not over bothered. The ref was behind the incident and could not have seen the challenge. He went by the reaction of Samaras. That has to be another appeal but the damage is done.
  5. The Tryst - apt name really
  6. Dear Santa - can ICT have a central defender please. Well that is half an hour of poor stuff - I bet that any neutrals will be bored to feckin tears. We are edging it but we look really suspect at the back.
  7. If I was on that pitch I would be giving Foran a dose of his own verbals - that is twice now where he has been caught offside and hasnt been looking along the line. Really worried about Tokely and Hogg - the latter just drawn in to a really stupid booking and now treads a very fine line. Samaras is a dud so far !!
  8. Great shot on the turn by Hayes - so close. That is about the first real effort on goal for either side. This must rank as one of the poorest Cellic sides - possibly ever. If you thought we were lacking in confidence.
  9. Lets hope that the SFA do something about a rather clear, loud and choral rendition of the Soldiers Song. :irritated: Tokes makes another big error !!
  10. The three up front has put Cellic on the back foot - I cant ever remember them playing so deep at Inverness - that must be a fear of Tade's pace. They have given the geek Samaras a roving role behind the two forwards. Yon geek is either brilliant or rubbish. Tokes and Hogg just nearly fecked it well up - suspect they are still feckin meditating.
  11. I see that my good friend and ex colleague David Yeoman has been drafted in for the pre match psychology !! Lets just hope that he has shaped the mindset and the players acheive the desired state. "Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.?? Carl Jung
  12. Aye - thats a good point - those were the days of entertainment if not always winning ways.
  13. How feckin strange with no clear psychological rationale apart from a feeling of extreme relief and euphoria continuing to exude from the performance at Kilmarnock. 4-5 weeks ago this forum was full of doom and gloom and now still bottom of the heap we appear to expect to beat the mighty Glasgow Celtic. Lets hope that this is not a false dawn but is a red sky at night.
  14. By a lonely council dump I heard a young man calling Lennon you were a ****** since yer birth As you lose in Sneck again And we watch and feel yer pain And a sewage pipe lies waiting in the firth Come here the noise of Sneckie Boys As once more we take the Mighty Celtic on When Hart flew down the wing A Wyness goal was a shure thing And the Caley went ballistic once again.
  15. 4 feckin 3 - they didnt give a feck as long as they entertained and survived.
  16. TO - GETHER - NESS Its feckin back

  18. Remember the olde West Ham United ?
  19. Apparently it is rumoured that similarities are why Terry communicates with me although I cant see any comparisons apart from maybe the footballing skills and mastery.
  20. Wasnt there a Butcher at Culloden ?
  21. Would be really interested to know the reasons for the ops. In the good old days it was all about reduction, immobilisation and deltoid strengthening but that served to make the injury more prone to recur. I take it that the operation is aimed at longer term restoration but that can be an unpredictable and lengthy recovery process.
  22. Ah - people with all that spare time on their hands. Who needs facebook and twitter when we have Lizimedia.
  23. For all posters who appear to be unable to comprehend whether I am on the wind up or not - I am actually being serious here. He has loads of potential and he does have an outside chance if he starts putting in the performances - which also means that he has to buckle down in to training.
