  1. In that case - Feck aff ya doddery old fart :rotflmao: He's got the intelligence and attraction of a feckin shaggy dog with fleas and worms. "You suffer from the oral-anal reversal problem... you're either talking **** or talking out-of-your-ass, but you don't know which."
  2. Disappointing retort - thought the mascot one was class. Back to the subject - wouldnt it be nice if one day - in the not too distant future that there is commonality between the choice of teams. That is a problem that we have had in the past - can appreciate that it may take another few games - but I am concerned that Terry and Mo do not appear to have setlled on a starting X1 and are showing signs again of sticking with certain players despite quite a lot of opposition from the supporters.
  3. Courtesy of Govan jaggie: And we were singing Caley Thistle - land of my fathers - Owain Tudur Jones
  4. Hmm - both Nessie and Dougal have been offshore for the last two weeks What about a shaggy dog with lots of red dots. :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
  5. Excellent news for the boyo and ICT - it surely must give him a personal boost to see that he is still really involved and that means that he has to pull out all the stops in the SPL to maintain it.
  6. An "assist" ? When / where ?
  7. I think that Dougal had a HUNch that we were being secretarian.
  8. No, but he will be next week. Which end ?
  9. What is Shane Sutherland ? And Djebi Tade as a marauding central midfielder ? Why dont we just stick Shane up front and let Tansey do what he does best !! Where are yas getting all the mushrooms from ?
  10. Thanks fer the compliment - I pride maself on being so prophetic.
  11. Its Djebi Tade actually - quite apt really. Full of industry, committed, enthusiastic, pacy, likeable, knows his limits, crowd pleaser and a good squad player.
  12. Possibly the stoopidest ever Dougal response - bit of a time difference there and not exactly part of the modern day coaching manual - apart from maybe Dornoch ?
  13. I dont want to sHUN BILLY no mates so I would hope that he has the intelligence to comprehend if not the ability to respond.
  14. That should be the "beauty" of this forum - different views and different perspectives. I would prefer Ross but in a more central position - with Tudor Jones in the "hole" - I feel that Ross would be the perfect partnef for Tansy. Personally I am not a fan of a rotation system and feel that we should always play the first preferred X!. Have to agree that Doran is a better wide choice - just not sure if we can have both Hayes and Doran in the same team - and if I was harsh to Doran it was becos of his inconsistency. Disagree totally with the goalscoring bit as I witnessd in Bristol
  15. I would prefer to see less goals against us, especially injury time ones.
  16. And a Graham Bayne type player who is used predominantly from the bench - that type of pace and effort, irrespective of the skill factor - would scare quite a few tiring SPL outfits. Can you imagine what impact he may have had yesterday if he had been brought on to play on the last line of defence with 20 minutes to go. My main concern is that Terry and Mo appear to be preferring him to Sutherland and I was hoping to see what he could do this season if given the chance to be a target man. I will be very interested to see what McKay plays like and where he is played. He comes across as the dargo type forward that we have needed for ages.
  17. What I was alluding to was the distinct absence of the hoof in the pre season friendlies and the evident focus on playing the ball on the ground - out of defence - and trying to find midfielders in space. The main component of that from the back was via Aldred but even Rossoce was thinking in that sense. Even the emphasis was on Esson looking to throw the ball out rather than hoof it too. I simply though that yesterday we had two central defenders - one not fully fit and not certainly match pace adapted and the other on his weak peg most of the time. The swopping of Permayr and the introduction of Proctor didnt help either and I suspect that the hoof was not a tactic. You could sense that Tansey and Foran were livid with the service. Of course the hoof can be effective but we have ball players who can mix it between the hoof and the pass. We simply do not have the strikers to match the hoof tactic.
  18. So you washed up on the beach this morning - via the pipeline ? I take offence at the word "dud" as Wikepedia states that - "By extension, "dud" has become a slang word for anything that does not work or is defective". Can the word dud be altered to headless chicken please.
  19. I dont mind if the title is ammended to say Rangers and appease the displeasure of the Hanoverian Monarch otherwise known as Dougal - who I suspect is also getting on the bandwagon and taking legal action against the media who actually coined the knickname in the first instance after the Union jack waving bigots ran amok in Newcastle. It has always been part of my culture to refer to the Old Filth as the Huns and the Tims - evidently a faux pas in modern day society. Even the fans of Ross County are offended by old names used in satirical banter. Whats next - The Jam Tarts, The Bully Wee !!
  20. There may have been some sarcasm in there but if you look closely at my posts I feel for Proctor mainly. He is a really nice lad and he has been a good servant to the club. My concern is that he has been played mainly out of position and has continued to be played when he has clearly lost his confidence, has made some crucial goal lsing errors and simply needs to be rested - put back in as a squad player and hopefully used more as a midfield replacement. I feel that the club has to assume a lot of the responsibility for his loss of form and confidence.
  21. There is really good news about our quest for Europe and it is looking promising that our boys will be on the stage on the Baku Concert Arena, in Akerbaijan, on 26th May 2012. I am reliably informed that Simon Cowell has agreed to manage a boy band, especially formed for the event, and that the line up will be Johnny Hayes, Aaoron Doran, Greg Tansey, Tom Aldred and Nick Ross.
  22. Billy McKay may well be the answer - and evidently the reason for the hoof yetserday was the introduction of theMunro Tokely and Hogg combination and the ommission of Aldred. He is one of the main reasons - plus Piermayr - that we started playing balls out of defence and looking to use the midfielders. And Russell Duncan would never have lasted the pace yesterday - he has actually left the club.
  23. I think that Proctor forgot to remove the ice pack from between his legs when he came on to the pitch.
  24. ESSON PIERMAYR HOGG ALDRED SHINNIE TUDOR-JONES A.SHINNIE ROSS TANSEY HAYES FORAN But unfortunately I suspect that it will be: ESSON TOKELY HOGG ALDRED PIERMAYR DORAN TUDOR-JONES TANSEY HAYES FORAN TADE,
  25. The hoof was the result of benching Aldred and playing Hogg and Tokely on their wrong sides - and then taking on Proctor and putting the only other defender who tries to play footbal on the deck on to his wrong foot.
