  1. Three deflection "assists" and a goalkeeping blunder.
  2. ESSON  Saved our fecki bacon again basically - what about that instinct block in the first few minutes - as good as ya get. As fer the hardie goal he was caught napping a bit by the quick take but it was a sceramer. If anything - why did he have to line up a feckin wall anyway !! DOH A DEER  Can play left back as well as right and still look good BUT I do hope that he is not sacrificed and continued to be played at left back - get him back to the right asap please. ROSSCOE  Personally I thought that he would be hooked once Hogg was back in. Two bad games in a row and he didnt look any better when he went to full back. HOGG  Think that he was thrown in to early, should not have been paired with Rosscoe and suffered for not being match fit. GILLET  Did nothing wrong but nothing of note before being stetchered off whic looked like a hamstring - which must have been bad if he needed a stretcher. DORAN  Back to the frustrations of last year and the lack of consistency. TENTPOLE TUDOR  I liked what I saw against Hibs but he was so lackadaiical today. That may well be his style and he may not be match fit but he needs to get in to the pace of the SPL. TANSEY  Very impressive second half - great footwork fer the goal and deserved the richochet. Was the one person on the park who looked like he could find a pass. HAYES  Still comes across as being above himself and needs to get back to Johnny the winger who stays wide, takes defenders on and looks for crosses and passes - not a feckin commanding midfield presence. DJEBI TADE Headless chicken and the main consolation is that he doesnt play in defence. Can anone tell me where he was supposed to be playing in the second half ? FORAN  Feel sorry for Richie as he is another who is covering a few deficits when he shouldnt have to. Thought he was the pick of the first half in the deeper role and did OK up front in the second. PROCTOR What can I say apart from whoever picked him and put him on were to blame. His confidence must be shot. ALDRED  Defence looked more solid and we started playing the ball out of defence and taking the midfield and wide players in to play. ROSS  Personally I would pick him in front of Doran every game
  3. Dont usually have a chance to watch the game twice - sober (ish) - and I still feel that we will come good but I feel that some of the decision making of Terry and Mo were as much our downfall as the players were today. 1. Cant believe the decision to play Hogg but then even more baffled that he played Hogg and Tokely and even more baffled that he played Hogg on the rite and Tokely on the left. Hogg to me clearly wasnt match fit but I would have played Aldred from the start irrespective. At least he looks to play the ball out of defence and is more commanding in the air. 2. The "treatment" of Proctor was tantamount to being disgraceful. If his confidence wasnt shot before then it will definitely be now. He should have been rested from the off and Shinnie on the bench. 3. Why in the name of God would you give Tade a roving role in the second half. A headless chicken needs to be caged fer fecks sake. It was tantamount to playing with ten men. 4. Foran played deep in the first half with Tade up front which evidently didnt work. Foran looked more effective in the second half but had no support. Is it really not time - or past it - to give Shane Sutherland a run up front - at least until we see what a fit McKay looks like. But there were positives - mainly the performance of Tansey and the evident togetherness on the pitch. Loved Tansey's MOM speech on Alba where he unthinkingly blamed the central defence and then did a terrible attempt at putting it rite.
  4. Suggest that you have a peek again as the movement off the ball was basically a tired looking Johnny Hayes and Tade who ya must have second thoughts about throwing it to.
  5. But we are still a clingon - I will feel better when we can wipe our erse and have no dried up deposits matting the follicles.
  6. A bad sign is losing two crucial goals in injury time in consecutive games. For the second week running we are punished by late lapses in concentration and defensive lapse - the difference between 4 points and 1 point.
  7. Chris Hogg - what the feck !!
  8. The Gods are feckin with us - Ross cross - Foran loops it back and Tansey bravely puts his napper on it. Please, please, please - let us feckin steal this.
  9. Another Tokely mistake but a great Esson save.
  10. Perhaps fitness and determination will now come in to play.
  11. "Gallagher has been an accident waiting to happen!!" A bit homophobic but Hayes gives us fresh hope.
  12. Fer fecks sake - Foran's goal was going in but Tade's unneeded touch meant that it was ruled out for offside. The decision was whwther the ball was over the line before Tade touched it !! Djebi Tade !!!
  13. Think Proctor was actually injured but that decision to put proctor on in the first place has to be critically questioned. "More confusion between Tokely and Hogg !!"
  14. "Chris Hogg and Ross Tokely simply have to have a good look at each other" -so do Terry and Mo. One not match fit and the other not playing well. And Proctor to look after to boot.
  15. "wicked deflection" - luck as well !!
  16. Thank gawd fer Andrew Barrowman - we are all at feckin sea at the mo. Ride the storm boys.
  17. "Outclassed, outplayed and dominated". Yet another half time talk required but - why is Proctor on ?
  18. We havent turned up yet this season. Pars have evidently done their homework and gone for the jugular. Some interesting comments have been about Foran and Tade not looking like strikers and Hogg not looking match fit. Jhesus Gillet stretchered off and we take on feckin Proctor !!!
  19. Straight down the feckin middle AGAIN and allowed Barrowboy to knock on to Kirk.
  20. That is why I always purchase the ICTFC Calendar Girl version - all hot blooded males should end 2011 with OldCaleyGirl amongst the leaves and juggling conkers in October, Laura G with tthe bonfire and rockets in the background whilst chewing on a toffee apple in November and Maimie wrapped up in tinsel and filling a stocking in December.
  21. Despite the positivity that appears to be in abundance at the moment I personally feel that we have to take at least a point or score at least one goal today. I wholly accept that we are still gelling but this is a big game fer us - nowhere near crucial - but confidence would be boosted against a side who should be in the relegation dog fight at the end of the season. I am actually not exactly optimistic today but I really hope that the potential can turn into a performance today. We simply cannot afford to fall too far behind in respect of points and goal difference. I would take a 1-1 or a 2-2 rite now.
  22. I am reliably informed that such an act is criminalised under the term of "bestiality" although the practice is still traditionally followed in many parts of Ross-shire.
  23. CYCLING WHILE DRUNK Cycling is intoxicating, it gives a natural high but it?s also a very sociable activity and those who partake in the weekend ?pub run? will attest that cycling is easier after the odd drink or two. A social tipple, imbibed in moderation (is that possible for Stirling Observer ?) ? the proverbial swift half ? will not lead to a massive impairment in your ability to ride home but, despite alcohol?s pain reducing effect, it impairs athletic performance so too much booze is bad for biking. The Licensing Act 1872 makes it an offence to be drunk in charge of a bicycle (or any other vehicle or carriage, or cattle) on a highway or in a public place but this old law also forbids any public drunkenness ? even in a pub ? so is clearly never enforced. In law a bicycle is defined as a carriage for use on the highway but cyclists are not in charge of ?mechanically propelled? vehicles so, in law, do not have to adhere to exactly the same ?drink drive? rules as motorists. Section 30 Road Traffic Act 1988 says: ?It is an offence for a person to ride a cycle on a road or other public place when unfit to ride through drink or drugs ? that is to say ? is under the influence of a drink or a drug to such an extent as to be incapable of having proper control of the cycle.Mmm - slightly better news for SO !! In Scotland a PC may arrest without warrant a person committing an offence under this section. There is no obligation for a cyclist to submit to a blood or urine alcohol test. ?Road? in the above bit of legislation includes a bridleway so don?t think you can get blotto at a country pub and ride home ?off road? without risk. And here?s the rub. If you ride drunk you risk endangering yourself and possibly others by your actions. Would you ride home blindfolded? Beer-googles and bicycles do not mix. And, as stated above, cycling ?dangerously? can be fined by up to ?2500.
  24. If you are making comparisons in the "here and now" between Hogg / Tudor Jones and Granty / Russelldhino then it simply is No Contest. I feel that the signings have been good but I will still be looking for survival this year - and I would take a cup run this season in preference to a Top Six finish. Our side is full of potential but a team takes time to gel. We need to start picking up pints soon or we will be in a catch up position. I always felt that this was a two season rebuilding programme but the "danger" will be that Piermayr and Tudor Jones may not finish the course if they play to yheir potentials as they will be snapped up. So lets not get carried away.
  25. Both offer value to those who choose to use them. Each one has a different itinerary on the day so appeals to different folks which is why we plug them both. nice to get TWO buses to each game .... more fans. Creep. ?The enemies you make by taking a decided stand generally have more respect for you than the friends you make by being on the fence?
