SURVIVAL ?
Absolutely spot on. But this is the decision of the Board - and surely we must all be asking the question as to why they are continuing to back him ? Perhaps they are confident that he has already lured the players necessary to save us. Brew may be the catalyst but it is the Board who should take FULL responsibility for the decision making in the next month - and nice to see that our Director of Football relaxed yesterday by watching the OF game in the Supporters Club Bar. evidently he must feel that Brew has it all under control.

FIR PARK SMILEYMOMETER
I am afraid that there was little to look forward to. Changing the manager may give a lot a lift but he is making that difficult by making his chosen few the starters at the moment. Esson is a bonus - but gawd to we need a pacy and/or experienced central defender. Cowie may be the surprise package if Brew goes as I would love to see him been given a consistent role and how he performs without Brew on his back. If Black stays he may also keep us up. We also need a couple of strikers - preferably on loan. This season is now all about survival - the longer Brew stays the harder it is going to be to achieve. The players he has jettisoned is coming back to haunt him. I would seriously think about reinstating Bazza and Bayne. Then we can start looking at building a team around Duff, Vigurs, Zander etc. Is it Brew or the SFL - ABSOLUTELY.

Talking Tictacs
I actually went yesterday hoping to see Black and Cowie shine and the team to show desire and passion. Well I saw some players clearly dying fer the cause and I applaud them for it. Stand up Ross Tokely, Richard Hastings, Russell Duncan and Roy McBain. But just when I thought that the tactics could only improve I witnessed the worst display of tactics ever. Brew evidently picked a team to play for him and the club - understandable - he picks his signings, his favourites and the players most likely to die for the shirt - again fair enuff. And then he crucifies them by playing a formation and a system which looked to be a reactive choice, clearly not honed on the training ground and gave Well the game from the kick off. It was embarrasing - a total farce. What the actual formation was supposed to be is anybodys guess !! They lined up as it was a 4-4-2 with Tokely wide right and Cowie just off Wood. Was Brew actually giving Rosscoe a Bazza type role. Within minutes it had changed to a 5-1-3-1 as Russell dropped into the hole and Cowie dropped back as well. But Royster was practically the furthest forward with a huge hole in between him and Cowie - which Well poured into. I suspect that Proctor was supposed to move rite to cover Rosscoe going forward but then the other three stayed left !! It was evidently clear to the most amateurish of observers that we simply did not have a clue what we were doing at the back. We appeared to play a straight line zone defence when defending crosses and dead balls - and look what happened. And who was covering Hastings and where was Imrie supposed to be !! The order of the day appeared to be hoof it up to Wood who either lost it, was beat to the ball (most times) or when he did hold it up his only pass was to go back - with no runners. The second half was even worse - the first 15 minutes was like watching a game of goals and byes - we had 10 men defending and 11 at corners or dead ball kicks. We just simply crowded the box and were content at throwing ourselves into blocks and tackles. We improved markedly in the last 15 minutes but - to be fair - by that time the Phil O'Donnell emotion had taken over, Well had hooked their forwards and they had eased up. And Brew states that he can ABSOLUTELY turn this around - lets hope he has his lobotomy as soon as possible. And what does he play next week - does he change it again ? If he doesnt play his favoured five at the back - who is he going to drop - I can see Granty getting the benching as he evidently didnt like what was going on around him

FIR PARK SMILEYMOMETER
Fer once I will attempt to put a few positives into this - for the sake of the players. ESSON :D :thumb04: Well he kept us in the game in the first half - he must have been so frustrated that every time he speeded out to the 18 yard line to start off a quick attack all he saw was Gary Wood trying to get back up front. Have to say that his distribution in the second half was terrible - and why was he sent on to the pitch EIGHT minutes before the rest of the team at the half time break. TOKELY :018: :D :D Well passion and desire will never be faulted but his passing yesterday was terrible, as was his crossing. In many ways I actually think that he was trying too hard. PROCTOR ;) When oh when will Brewster concede that he is NOT a central defender. To be fair he looked totally lost for the first half hour - along with his four defending peers - trying to play a system where nobody knew what they were doing. Although Well had taken their foot of the pedal he looked quite tidy when he moved into a more right back position fer the last 20. And at least he didnt continually hoof it. GRANTY :015: :D What has happened to him ? He has lost all the command and control - but then again Maguire has evidently been given the reins. MAGUIRE :P Lets punt him out with Brewster - he went into a sweeper type role (I think) yesterday and he did sweet feck all. He totally depended on Proctor and Munro and was marking space most of the time. HASTINGS :021: :D :D st have been totally confused - as nobody appeared to understand who was covering Dick and he got caught out of position regularly. And his hoofing was so annoying but at least the passion was clearly there. COWIE :D :D Where was Brew playing him - he just drifted all over the place throughout the game. To be fair to him he made 3-4 really good off the ball runs in the second half but wasnt spotted. DUNCAN :D :D :D Like Rosscoe excels in the passion stakes and ran himself into the ground - but playing him as the hole and the playmaker - give me a feckin break. ROYSTER :D :D Where the feck was he playing ? - started off ten yards in front of Duncan - in No Mans Land - why ? Ran his socks off but did a headless chicken impersonation throughout. IMRIE :D Inconsistent - got fed up and practically gave up - simply not good enuff. WOOD :D :D :D To give him his due he was playing 20-30 yards in front of everybody else and Cowie and Royster were his only allies - but sorry but when he did have a chance he again showed that he does not have the pace, the movement, the awareness or the balance to do damage at this level. ROONEY AND BARROWMAN - Why when Vigurs was warming the bench. MOM - Ian Vigurs

SURVIVAL ?
It now all depends on how long our gutless Board will continue to support Brew.

mike smith response
In all fairness a feckin numpty could have typed that - it is pathetic and yet another two fingers to the fans.

Phil Brown knows how to do it
He certainly gained the applause of the Hull following. A bit off the thread but a brilliant comment today on the transfer window - Discussing potential signings and it came along to Man Utd - Mike Parry said that Alex Ferguson was looking for two new faces - one for Rooney and the other for Tevez. :018: :thumb04:

Four new signings
- Gers in for Cowie?
If my source is accurate Don will be heading to Yorkshire.- Cowie paraded out to placate the fans.
Aye - and was reincarnated into Johnboy.- A Winters Tale
The atmosphere can be elevated by listening to the David Essex rendition whilst perusing or humming it as you scroll down. A WINTERS TALE - an adaptation by IHE. Once upon a time in the Kingdom of Fife, on December 25th, a wee loon was born, out of wedlock and in a cattle shed (some things never change do they). The expectant Mum was drinking a cup of tea as the final contraction hit and dropped it in the manure - and so Brewshyte was born. And that night a bright star eminated out of the Orion Constellation and sent down an angel and three wise men. The angel was a local lass called Buffy who fluttered over the smelly babe and enthused " Brewshyte - you will be the most popular and powerful person wherever you go". And the babe was presented with a Magic Mirror by the Three Wise Men - a savage, a housebuilder and a man made of grass - "Look into the mirror and ask "Who is the most popular and the most powerful" and you will be given a true reply. Years went by and Brewshyte went to Forfar, Kirkcaldy, Dundee, Ionokos, Embra, Dunfermline, Inverness and Aberdeen and the mirror always replied "Its you Brewshyte - Its you". And then, in March 2007, Brewshyte walked out of the Peepy Peeps Tavern and the bright star from the Orion Constellation dazzled him. It enticed him North to Sneck where the savage and the man made of grass made him an offer of immortal greatness. "Wait in the wings Brewshyte whilst we break down Charlie Chaplin and silence him fer good" they caroused. And Brewshyte bided his time until a calling from Paisley exuded in August 2007. He strolled into his new office, polished the mirror, hung it on the wall and asked "And who is the most popular and most powerful ?". To his dismay the mirror replied - "Eh at the moment - Park, Rankin and Niculae". Brewshyte was humiliated and swore revenge. "I am not going to be outdone by a troll, a pretty boy and an alien" And so he hatched an evil plan. The troll was easy as the man made of grass persuaded him to go home to his family and Brewshyte brought back the thick Malky. Rankin was simply humiliated and was booted out to Embra. But every time Brewshyte went back to the mirror it called out "Niculae". Brew was in a quandary as the alien from the Orion constellation appeared to be favoured by both the savage and the man made of grass. So what did he do ? - what anyone would do when ya want to get yer house in order - ya go to the renowned local housebuilder. To Brews delite he discovered that the builder still held the lease and the man made of grass was actually a double agent - the Mata Hari of Dalneigh - and so the three plotted the demise of the alien. As the season grew to an end and it became evident that the alien was going back home Brewshyte went to the mirror an begged the question. The mirror replied "Niculae.." - "not fer much longer" giggled Brewshyte - "..and Wyness and Bayne". Brewshyte acted immediately and got the man made out of grass to rip up the two previously agreed contracts and benched the two threats. The disgraced pair walked away in the summer. In June 2008 the mirror finally replied - "Its you Brewshyte, its you". But Brewshyte decided that he had to consolidate fer the future - He gathered around him a squad unlikely to draw the attention away from him - he called in a failed goalkeeper, an old mate, a happy boy, the old school, some kids and SFL standard signings. He then decided that his strikeforce should comprise of youngsters lacking in pace and movement - "Feckin purrfect" he thought. But in August 2008 the wind changed and as he asked the mirror the reply was "Eh now, Wilson, Black and Cowie". Brewshyte was devastated and confided in the housebuilder, the man made of grass and IHE's Uncle George. They backed Brews' risky plan of making the three stars ordinary by playing them constantly out of position, substituting them on a regular basis or benching them as often as possible. The staggered humiliation began to play its toll - the old man finally waved the white flag of surrender and left the club he loved in despair - and the ploy took shape with Black and Cowie. And at half time at Paisley in December 2008 Brewshyte sent the troops out onto the pitch with the prophetic words " Black - you are a feckin wee tart, a jammy wee tart. Cowie youre a Hun, a lone feckin Ranger - yer days are numbered". Growing dissent from the natives and the heralded return of Robbo, rumoured to be an agent of the Orion constellation proved to be short term concerns as the blind support proffered by the housebuilder, the man made of grass and IHE's Uncle George saved the day. And Brew has the date of 10/01/2009 etched in his diary as he will go back to the mirror and the mirror will reply "Its you Brewshyte, its you". And then we will all live happily ever after. :018: ANY LIKENESS TO REALITY IS PURELY COINCIDENTAL - THIS IS A FAIRY TALE BOING 40-50 % warning level ;) :thumb04:- Merry XMAS
Bah Humbug - Hope ya all get feckin burgled. :thumb04: :018: ;)- Cowie paraded out to placate the fans.
Worrying news I got from a Leeds season ticket holder today - Cowie is still on their wish list and will be watched against the Huns - possibly by Grayson himself.- Home & away
Finally! :thumb04: ;) Not only did he get his tactics backwards - he got his feckin rite and left wrong as well. :018:- Enough is Enough
Get feckin stuffed ya soft *******.- Fir Park Fiesta
I now wouldnt miss this game for the feckin world. I reckon we may just cuff them. Why ? - cos Black and Cowie are now rite in the shop window and they will be going all out - fer the wrong reasons maybe but so what - and then they have a second opprotunity to shine on the telly against the Huns. So I reckon I should be there to watch my two favourite present players play their last away games fer the club and watch them bow out on a high. And I wouldnt be surprised if Bazza is on the bench and is given 30 minutes to say his goodbyes - another PR exercise. Wouldnt it be equally great to have Brew on the bench as well. ;) Now if I was a sceming, manipulative psycopath that is what I would do to save my bacon - 4 to 6 points in the next two games and I could breathe easier - still it would never happen in reality - Would it ? :015: WOW - I am still on 30% warning after all that - Merry Xmas to all the moderators. :thumb04: :018:- Enuff is Enuff
Cheers John and a Merry Xmas to you too - and I hope you do come back to the TCS - as yerself and not a puppet on a string. Well I started this thread in an attempt to clarify a few things - in a rather inflammatory manner I agree - but **** me am I happy with the outcome. As you may appreciate this had nowt to do with Marius - he was a bit of bait. I may be old and scruffy - but I aint stoopid. Have a great Xmas peeps - I am off to guard the mental health of Lancashire.- Blackie Thread (merged)
Black and Brewster fell out again at Midden at half time and Brew sent the team on to the park early as a disciplinary tactic and then hooked Black again and then Black was told to talk to the press and play down the incident - so he bites his bottom lip and tells the press what a happy half time was had by all. Lets face it - Cowie and Black are threats to Brewster - that is the reason they are going - just like those before.- Enuff is Enuff
I can answer one of the questions for stevico, **CLICK** not exactly a secret. I can't believe you are having to spell this out IHE your posts have been transparent for months, surely I am not the only one who noticed? But then again, your wind ups...... when to take you seriously...... I guess it might take people a while to believe you. Birddog I thank you for you obsevation thankfully and even idols such as IHE think you are a fool anyway have a great time and contiue to be a complete fool you are a legend in the stupid world I admire you , what a ******* clown Birdog is a fan - outspoken and I often disagree with him - but he has ICT at heart - enuff said - RESPECT to all the real fans. I aint an idol, more an agitant, but i do get peeple thinking - and that is what this forum is all about - wind up, debate, discussion, disagreement BUT not covert manipulation NOR ignorance or patronisation. I may never be a role model but I am a Howden Ender - I am a feckin Jeggie - I will live and die fer the ICT cause - The protection of this club, its fans and my friends is the ultimate - Ibrox or Gayfield - I will follow till I die - I will say what I think or think will wind up - that is enuff fer me - O2B.- Enuff is Enuff
DOH - This isnt about Marius It is about the future of ICT. Marius is gone and forgotten - Read between the lines fer fecks sake. Just to conclude - dont be manipulated - stick by your vibes (Hurrah fer Hairy Chibber) O2B - I always will be (just think about that)- Enuff is Enuff
I think I may just have killed it :thumb04: :018: ;) :015: :D :P :021: George Fraser is ma uncle. Stevico is not an employee of Orion and Robbo is !! So who the **** is "minding" Robbo - oops sorry should I have known that.- Enuff is Enuff
I never said that, I did say I really don't care about Johndo's politics all I want is ICT moving forwards and upwards. Whatever it takes. You two should put this squabble aside IMHO until Brewster is out the door, then we can worry about the power struggle. It is good to strike the serpent's head with your enemy's hand. I'll ask ma Uncle George. :D :thumb04: :018: ;) He will send a pigeon to poop on Brewsters bald patch - that will get rid of the ****. My politics :015: :D :P :021: :D :D My love / my infatuation / my desire. YES Getting Brew out is a sensible tactic - but it aint the end of the story - it all depends on who follows.- Enuff is Enuff
I can answer one of the questions for stevico, **CLICK** not exactly a secret. But then again, your wind ups...... when to take you seriously...... I guess it might take people a while to believe you. So why would Robbo want to work with Sutherland and his "mob" unless it was a coalition / takeover. And did you ever think that Brew changed allegiances ? Just look at how he played Marius in the latter games ? Especially at Falkirk. - Gers in for Cowie?
