At feckin last - A journo who confronts Brewster - well done Charlie B. Sorry dont know how to feckin add it to this post but is that the voice of a struggling man or what - just hear how his tone and attitude changes when he is actually confronted fer once - especially when Black is mentioned (yeah that is the proof that Brew wants Black to stay!!) - and he was either passing the blame on to Grasser or digging an even deeper hole !! Then the interview shuddered to a halt when the great man was confronted about Cowie, Wilson, the transfer window and midfield. And his comments about morale !! Confidence is "clearly low" but all we have to do is "work harder" :thumb04: Fer fecks sake all we have to do is THINK SMARTER - then he says that we have to do "what we are good at" - but how can we when this eejit plays systems that denies this. But the biggest joke of all was his defence of the Fir Park shambles - WE DIDNT STOP THE CROSSES - WE CANT DEFEND DEAD BALLS - DOH - well how do you stop deep crosses WHEN you play five across the back - in a deep fashion - one in the hole - one in the middle ten yards in front - Cowie trying to support Wood and Imrie in nowhere land - DOH - I thought the reasoning behind playing three central defenders was to organise to defend against crosses, not to give the strikers space, tugging at their shirts and attacking the feckin ball - So it wasnt Proctor and Maguire at fault - it was Imrie, Cowie and Russell Duncam was it. This poor **** is embarrasing himself and the club - If only he was a feckin horse.

Feck me Ironside - I have changed my mind about getting you to defend me - How long does it take to smell the feckin coffee in rural Aberdeenshire. :thumb04: :018:

MR SUTHERLAND(TULLOCHS) ON NORTH TONIGHT
Whoopee :thumb04: :018: Some of you are also finally beginning to catch on that there is a political side to our current problems. ;) But that is a power game that will resolve itself although I am again heartened that the fan influence is finally beginning to have an effect - the media will follow suit if we keep up the pressure. Sutherland and co have always used the "be happy where you are" tact in the past but we are happy where we are and dont want to go back - that is a wee bit different. But the crux of the matter - AND THIS IS SO IMPORTANT - that the Board will be looking very closely at the attendance at the Supporters Club Meeting - if it is the usual suspects they will declare that it is evidently a minority stirring the proverbial - I am a long way away and cant attend but I would ask anyone in the Sneck area to attend - you dont have to say anything but you arethere to show faith and support. The other isue will be the atmosphere and how things are said - for those who know me - being an IHE type plays rite into their hands - be a Johndo and think about what you are going to say and how you put it across. I intend to correspond with DJS to succinctly pass on my views and ask that my correspondence is adressed to the masses. May I suggest that as many of the far flung support do likewise and the Supporters Trust can go to the meeting, waving their e-mails and stating that so and so cant attend but felt strongly enuff to contribute - and point out that - hopefully - these fans are spread across the globe. Perhaps we should have a sticky thread on here and that can be used for the far flung support. And finally a bit of constructive criticism - I applaud the Supporters Trust for holding this meeting - I know most of the members and know how passionate and committed that they are - but you lot have been controlled by the powers to be - who are experienced businessmen (also known as sociopaths) - the fact that the othe DS has responded is a power play against yerselves - He is trying to bully and intimidate YOU. So PLEASE - get yerselves prepared - you need to have a clear agenda - with just a few (2-3) main points - that has to be presented well at the start and that has to be shown to be supported. And keep away from the Stadium move, Orion and Tulloch - focus on what we are really worried about - the perceived management of the club; the concerns about losing good players, not being able to attract signings; the performance and especialy the tactics on the park and the fear of a slip to the SFL. Mr Sutherland has brightened up my New Year - he is clearly worried - and so he feckin should be.

Boycott the Partick Thistle game?
I want a cup run and I would never have thought that I would support a boycott. BUT are the fans actually cheering on and encouraging the players recently - if anything it is the other way around - It sounds like that there has been a fair degree of silence or booning or anti - Brew songs. The players may actually be better without the atmosphere - but a boycott would be the ideal way to REALLY make a point. Me - I hope that the Huns make the Cup a bit more of an entertainment

Munro comments
Funny how things can be interrupted differently. During an interview where he's obviously been instructed to pedal the party line I read this one line as possibly showing encouragement/support for the fans to keep on making their views known. Aye Don - its the art of reading between the lines - It is like following a script without touching on any nerves and not really meaning what you say or leaving it to interpretation. But why cant our gutless Board see that ?
-
Independent Forum
Well that says a lot for the intelligence of this site - I must have read the lines wrong
-
Who?
I actually feel sorry fer Grasser as I have still got respect fer him - He is ICT through and through but I am afraid he has been used as a pawn at a higher business level than he was ever able to function in - I put Grasser on a level with Charlie Christie - well I did. John Beaton is a great fella with a great footballing brain - who can ever forget the way that he brought Columba FC into the Welfare and produced the best amateur footballing sides fer decades. He even had the sense to bring an old head as the captain and role model to the effervescent youngsters.
-
Independent Forum
This is more what a forum should be - fer too long we have been controlled or channelled by the Board. At last fans are united and being allowed to have their say - this is fan power at its best. Just think about the political connotations of Robbo and Bazza joining the throngs - thankfully there is always the stirring **** who can read between the lines as well - Reckon I will hire Stevico fer protection the next time I am at TCS.
-
Surely Now Is The Time To Act !
The Board are struggling fer their existence just like Brewster - it is a sad case of one for all and all fer one - it has feck all to do with football - it is all about internal politics and power - they blow Brewster away and they blow themselves away - unfortunately they are blowing away the club at the same time. Bring Back Robbo - let them have their Shearer - then kick out Bennett - move Robbo up - then kick out Shearer - new manager in with Bazza as the No 2 - and the money to back it all up.
-
Barry Wilson - farewell message.
Well - I am deffo going to make a trip to Palmerston this season My favourite and closest ground - I will have to ask the Duke fer an escort ? But what the feck am I going to do without my inside info ? :thumb04: :018: ;) But - I reckon Bazza knows that he will be back at the TCS in 2009 - all going well.

Motherwell -V- ICT : matchday thread
From a psychological perspective that has pleased me becos that stuttering performance is the tone of a doomed man. And if he sticks by his words Proctor can NOT be picked against the Huns and Maguire is second fer the chop as well - but will he do that ? Will he feck. We need a freshness - a change - a lift - Absolutely agree - so GTF. What ??!! They simply did not have a clue - they were all over the place. Have to agree with midfield but did you not see the Well midfield playing most of their football to feet and mainly in the gap between Duncan and Royster. We were overrun cos we played far too deep - full stop. What tactic - if it is called playing on the break - stems from having 11 players in yer own penalty box when you are 2-1 down ?
-
Look on the Bright Side
Stick with me son and we can have many happy Saturdays away.
-
Who?
Hairy - Robbo is waiting in the wings and has been fer months - if it wasnt fer the Orion v Tulloch power struggle this would have been a done deal in November. Sutherland would view Robbo as a back down - even if he doesnt have a direct link to Savage Wht do you think that they are so desperate to hang on to Brewster - What is frustrating me is that they are just delaying the inevitable - they cant afford a decent manager without a bit of help from Orion - Shearer as No 2 is their means of maintaining a piece of control - until Round 2 and the return of Park of course.

What value do you place on an emotion ?
In regard to emotion George Gissing once said to me ?It is the mind which creates the world around us, and even though we stand side by side in the same meadow, my eyes will never see what is beheld by yours, my heart will never stir to the emotions with which yours is touched.[?/b] Reading yer post and countless others - he may be wrong ? But an anonymous piece of wisdom states Relationships-of all kinds-are like sand held in your hand. Held loosely, with an open hand, the sand remains where it is. The minute you close your hand and squeeze tightly to hold on, the sand trickles through your fingers. You may hold onto some of it, but most will be spilled. A relationship is like that. Held loosely, with respect and freedom for the other person, it is likely to remain intact. But hold too tightly, too possessively, and the relationship slips away and is lost.? - There is a beach as big as Nairn at Brewsters feet. Perhaps it will turn into quicksand ? But I fear your grand sentiment, in the current climate, is pie in the sky.

I am more interested in our last 14 games: Played 14 Won 2 Drew 1 Lost 11 For 11 Against 29

ICT statistics
0% from fans not strictly true. There were 4 ladies, of various ages, behind me on saturday, who tried to get a chorus of "there's only one craig Brewster" going after Tokley scored with no success or support from anyone else. These were the only fans supporting Brewster at the game on saturday Think you missed the end of the song - Theres only one Craig Brewster ---- He a feckin clown, hes taking us down - were walking in a Brewster blunderland.

FIR PARK SMILEYMOMETER
One question - would you prefer Bayne to Wood, Rooney, Rory or Barrowman. And just think about playing Cowie just off him.
-
Rooney
Yip - give him an old head to patner up front and he will shine - but Brew clearly favours Wood so it doesnt really matter how well Rooney performs. As I have said before one of them needs a run away from home and two of them at home - just look at how our forward line has chopped and changed this season.
-
ICT v Rangers result
So do I - but if we concede early I really do hope that we get slaughtered - The Board have as much to answer for as Brewster. I watch expecting a win - I watch expecting a hammering on Sunday - and that is not out of disloyalty but the fact that Walter Smith has sussed us fer the last couple of seasons and he must be rubbing his hands - Brew simply hasnt got a clue tactically. I do care who is in charge - it is now the difference between staying up or going down. The Board are as clueless as Brew - the only thing that will make them notice is a drubbing. More reason to give Brew and the Board the message - if we go 2 behind - sorry when - if we let those clowns spend the money we will be rite up **** creek. The only thing crazy about ICT at the moment is the actions of the gutless board.
-
Proctor
Yes Proctor did well in the last 15-20 when he was more or less in the right back position. But I think he was given the role of marking Porter - and it is sad to say that even that isnt clear given the positioning of the rest of the defence.
-
Talking Tictacs
Having just wtched the highlights it feels even worse - just look at where our back five positioned themselves for the three goals. The third one has four of them in the goal area but only Proctor apparently marking. It now looks evident that Brew gave Proctor the role of marking Porter - that was even ridiculous to consider in the first instance - that should have been Munro's job - but to carry on into the second half is tactically inane. And where exactly was Maguire fer the goals - surely he should have been central and supporting Proctor - and look at Tokely's positioning and movement fer the first and third goals. Tactically an absolute shambles - AGAIN - ABSOLUTELY !!
-
Proctor
Absolutely spot on - have a look at where Tokely, Maguire and Granty were fer the first two goals. Proctor has been played consistently in a position that he clearly is not suited too. I simply could not believe that they left him marking Porter - but as said before where were the rest of them - they were marking shadows. And it was a delight to watch our subs at half time - they were either standing about having a chat or enjoying a game of crossbar challenge. And when the defence was all at sea - why did Brew send Esson back on to the pitch and miss the half time talk ??!!

FIR PARK SMILEYMOMETER
Fair comment but there was a fair degree of passion and committment being showed yesterday.
