  1. :023: BUT the "split" games last season were a TOTAL embarrassment and Brew could have been hoofed in the summer - BUT I felt at a very low ebb for several months before the Hamilton defeat - thank feck Rosscoe didnt score with the late header !!! If I wanted somebody in my corner it would be Butcher. Or else he would end up looking like his famous piccy :)
  2. Lets blast out an old favourite at the end - The Merger stay aways will join in and the Tinks will enjoy: I'VE SUPPORTED THE CALEY FOR MANY A YEAR AND I SPENT ALL MY MONEY ON WHISKY AND BEER BUT THIS YEAR I'M REJOICING LIKE OFT TIMES BEFORE AS WE NEVER WILL PLAY THE ROSS COUNTY NO MORE - AND ITS NO NAY NEVER NO NAY NEVER NO MORE WILL WE PLAY ROSS COUNTY NO NEVER NO MORE. :023:
  3. Come on folks - there are lots of feckin variables and side issues - BUT the bottom line is that the Board should have sacked Brewster in October/November 2008 AT THE VERY EARLIEST. Their dogged determination to stick by him has led to the present situation. I respected Sutherland for years but do NOT EVER forget that Sutherland even tried to place the blame on the Supporters Trust and the fans - He cowardly hid behind the fact that he wasnt a Board Member. George Fraser is yet another Tulloch puppet - Grasser is a great servant but is clearly out of his depth and then there is Mike Smith - what is he getting paid for - what does he actually do ?
  4. Reckon we can only get stronger and louder next season - but fer the benefit of some of you who may not remember we could be going to wonderful venues like Palmerston (Hole in the Wall), Livi (pub 200 yards from the ground), Dens Park (Social Club), Greenock (DOH), Dumfermline (Elizabethan) and Tinkerville (best away craic ever). Either way - SPL or SFL - it sounds like feckin good craic to me.
  5. Good thread there - Renegade - are you a feckin teacher or wot ? B) 1. We simply cannot judge Butcher as he has inherited a side with only Foran and Eric being his choices. 2. Initially I was concerned that he was getting advice from the muppets but that can longer be the case. I think he is a model media manager and he knows how to milk the crowd but I too feel that he is not as tactically aware as we all give him credit for. 3. Dropping Esson is crazy in my view - I really dont think that there is much between Esson and Mikey BUT IMHO Esson has the experience and he appears far more aware of the need to turn defence into attack quickly and he is more likely to give those in front of him a rite mouthful. If it was disciplinary - fair enuff. 4. Butcher appears to be of the opinion that if you play really well in one game in a position you stick with it. Rosscoe stood in at centre half and excelled and has stayed there since - a bit like Imrie up front. Tokely will play well wherever you start him but Rosscoe and Granty are too alike and are basically a pair of hoofers. We have lost a lot of our attacking game by moving Rosscoe from full back. 5. Although he played yesterday Butchers fascination and loyalty to Lionel is the most worrying of the lot. 6. Imrie is a left feckin winger / left sided midfielder - FULL STOP. 7. Morais is a wide right player and not a supporting forward. 8 Foran needs a forward with him - Eric's pace is the perfect foil.
  6. Well I fer one am going to sing and sing and sing !! But what is the long range weather forecast - me and ma flag are going to the "West Stand" seats if it isnt persisiting down - Next Saturday we should be relentless.
  7. Wyness13 - Signature of the feckin season. B)
  8. Personally I think that it may be a "spiritual" phenomenon - Could you just imagine if the poor lads are possesed by the ghosts of the fools from the hill - how feckin scary is that - feck me - Maybe Lionel has been possesed by Brian Black B)
  9. Car from Chorley with both the kids - I am feckin broke. B)
  10. Will keep you all up to date with how he is getting on - he usually visits Gillian and myself on Sundays. B)
  11. Wow, can't believe I am reading this! Although I do have to agree that he can be a liability! Basically I suppose I am brutally honest but I do give a straight appraisal every time.
  12. I think Mannie's description is spot on - Lionel is an "athlete".
  13. ESSON TOKELY PAVELS MUNRO LIONEL  MORAIS BLACK KERR IMRIE FORAN ERIC
  14. I have evidently been his worst critic this season but I would like to say RESPECT  - Today you did nowt wrong and epitomised our spirit. May not be the best but he feckin embarrassed a few today.
  15. First half - we should have nailed it. Second half - we were dominated - we did not deserve the point overall. I will have to support Lionel here  but - lets see the highlights - but - Proctor should have cut out the cross - but there appeared to be Kyle and another at the back post. I thought that Lionel was sucked in but where were Rosscoe and Granty ? Will have to wait fer the replay.
  16. Fraser B) B) Sorry but he is not giving any form of confidence - This is a mistake. Proctor B) B) Another who is suspect and did not perform today !! Tokely B) B) B) B) Say no more - to the death - one of the few Munro B) B) B) Comittment to the limit but looked dodgy. LIONEL  :D :D Wait fer it - my MOM. He played a no nonsense game today and really was the best player on the park> IMRIE B) B) Sorry but put his head DOWN. BLACK B) B) B) B) Close to lionel - may have lost it in the 2nd half but was TOTALLY comitted to the cause. KERR B) B) Where did he go in the second half. McBain B) Invisible - has to be dropped MORAIS B) B) B) Some great touches but should be wide rite. FORAN B) B) B) Died in the second half after a wonderful first half - WHY ?? BUTCHER - Sorry but he got it wrong today - in the first half they were ther fer the taking and we went defensive minded in the second _ and WHY didnt Eric go on before Barrowman ?? SUPPORT - feck the stewards but LETS PACK OURSEVES IN TO SECTION G NEXT WEEK. Great in the first half - died in the second - nowt to feckin chant about cos Killie put us under the cosh.
  17. Certainly not - I will be there encouraging and muffle my discontent until a more appropriate moment - I think that you may find that it was I that have started off the Lionel chants 2-3 times a game recently. At the match the guy needs as much support as possible. Hopefully today he will just play it safe every time - I would not be bothered if he hoofs everything out of the stadium - and who knows - he hasnt scored fer us yet has he - wouldnt that be the most wonderful way to get us all back. COME ON LIONEL. He may even survive to play in the Community Stadium. :(
  18. The left wing at Borough Briggs.
  19. Strangely some of us have more pressing matters to ponder on today. :(
  20. :( :cry05: :cry05: :cry05:
  21. O Lord, In this time of need, strengthen me and my team. You are my strength and my shield; You are my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. I know, Father, that Your eyes go to and fro throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts long for You. My body grows weary, but my hope is in You to renew my strength. I do not fear, for You are with me. I am not dismayed or overwhelmed, for You are my God. I know You will strengthen me and help me; that You will uphold me with Your righteous hand. Even as the shadows of relegation cover me, I feel the comfort of Your strength, O Lord. Amen.
  22. No offence taken - I am simply a misunderstood and misrepresented solid citizen - who should be in bed but cant feckin sleep - my missus says I have pushed her out of bed twice and is asking "who the feck is Lionel ?".
  23. The one i fantasise about is Djebi Zadi sitting beside me at Rugby Park on 16/05/09.
  24. The whole thing is turning me to drink.
