  1. I would only renew two contracts - Terry Butcher and Tommy Cumming.
  2. I am now full of positive vibes and I truly Believe that we will survive. Can I beseech ya all to think only positive thoughts and the aura will take us through and radiate to the players. SPONSORED BY SMIRNOFF
  3. Fer fecks sake our destiny is now totally in our own hands - Beat Hamilton at home and we are almost there - Midden are in a feckin death dive. Dont forget that the rest have still to play each other - Falkirk v Midden gives us the extra breathing space - goalless draw please. I BELIEVE
  4. Feck me - how is yon old **** still breathing.
  5. Thank feck I aint relying on the bus - rules 4 and 6 debar me. :thumb04: :018: ;)
  6. Leave Renegade alone - his selections always make me laff.
  7. I though that the 93/94 Caley strip was the best.
  8. Have yas noticed that Butcher has changed the trend of picking up more points away from home than at the Dump ? I think that he is the first manager to have done that.
  9. Interesting selection - It would suggest that Tel has rested all the starters fer the Hamilton game - which would effectively mean that Fraser starts in goals, Proctor starts, Tokely and Munro continue as a pairing and Barrowman goes up front - that leaves slight doubts about the left back and one of the wide positions, dependent on Morais fitness. It is beginning to look like no change from the Paisley starting X1.
  10. Fraid the Sunday kick off fecks it up fer me and probably quite a few of the exiles - bring on the next two away days though.
  11. I think that Gillian is trying to tell you all summat - just read between the lines. A Scotland B cap or even a squad place is the perfect reward fer Blackie and a boost to him and our club - it is the first rung on the ladder - Butcher wathes him train every day and wants to keep him - that is what Butcher wants to gain - Black to stay - have we got the nous to go fer it.
  12. It may be pure coincidence but every time I wear my kilt I end up blootered.
  13. I ws feeling really good until I read that Midden thread - now I feel feckin great. ;) :thumb04: :018:
  14. :thumb04: :018: ;)
  15. Yes Hairy I applaud Butcher fer playing Imrie on the wrong foot but it was clearly a shrewd tactic from the off - Morais would have murdered Camara though and if we had Morais on the rite and Imrie on the left it would have been even more interesting and would have given Barrowman and Foran more opportunity to play on the last man and get into the box where thaey are at their most dangerous. Camara just was clueless when Dougie cut inside and I was amazed that midden did little to counter it until Camara was hooked. With Royster on the left there was never a real chance of Imrie swopping - with Morais that would have happened. Royster was monitoring Dorman and protecting Zadi.
  16. Yip - I did consider giving Barrowman three smileys but it is his lack of being able to get into goal scoring positions which frustrates me. We dont have much choice but I feel that Barrowman and Foran are too similiar. Neither are really target men - and I felt that Barrowman was given that role on Saturday - they are both goal poachers - wish they would show that a bit more. Rooney is more of a target man but sadly needs more time and experience. I hate to say this but I would be looking for a Brewster type presence at the moment and I would willingly swop fer the likes of Memhet and even Hamilton. We need a classical centre forward and we simply dont have that.
  17. Excellent news - but first the muppets have to persuade Butcher to stay and I am reliably informed that one of his "asks" is fer Black to stay and spondoolachs fer Pavels, Morais, Foran and Obdiambho.
  18. Just stick this on a t-shirt and you will be gauranteed a hearty welcome:
  19. Wasnt it feckin refreshing to see a manager set up a team from a tactical perspective, clearly showing that the opposition and been well and truly sussed out. I would be the first to admit that I would prefer to have a settled team going into the last four games but I have more faith than ever that Butcher has really sussed out the squad and is putting out teams to either play against the opposition weaknesses or to counter their threats and/or our weaknesses. Pairing Munro and Tokely may well have been becos of Pavels injury but does that look effective or what. Playing Imrie against Camara was a match winner - Playing Royster against Dorman and to cover for the impeyuous Zadi did the trick - well almost. Kerr and Black look like a pairing made in heaven. But Barrowman up front - sorry - I dont understand that - I would have played Rooney in the absence of Morais - but what the hell - we all cant be perfect. Another thread but his selection and formation next week will be very interesting - Shackle McCarthy and get the first goal must be high on the list - or am I missing summat ?
  20. I suspect that Tel may actually do that but I would go: FRASER PROCTOR TOKELY MUNRO McBAIN MORAIS KERR BLACK IMRIE ROONEY FORAN
  21. We are hoping that a few feckin muppets are decapitated.
  22. That was one best trips in a long time - Meeting up with Red Card, pre match chomps and voddie in the Alamo, one of the best away supports this season, three great points, a Rosscoe winnner, singing through Central Station and Karaoke at Brechins. :022: FRASER :thumb04: :018: ;) Very surprising selection but he did look the part - Cant see Esson getting back in this season if Mikey keeps it up. At least we know that we have two top keepers to rely on. PROCTOR :015: :D :P Did Ok but looked very nervy and unsure of himself. Bad day at the office. ROSSCOE :021: :D :D :D :D MOM - Legend GRANTY :D :D :D :D Great performance - shades of yore - Blends well with Tokely and covers fer Zadi. DJEBI ZADI :D :D :D Did Ok on the whole - if his shot had hit the target it would have been goal of the season BUT he lost us the goal - Munro and Black were furious with him - and he loses concentration and position - Granty did a bit of covering for him. Hopefully Tel will have had a look at Royster yesterday. IMRIE :D :D :D :D Played on his wrong foot but a clear tactic which worked - Tel sussed out that camara was a weakness especially if the winger cuts inside - it worked a treat. KERR :D :D :D :D Getting better and better - a Russel Duncan who plays football. BLACK :D :D :D :D Are we going to miss him or what ? Black and Kerr have the look of a class pairing. McBAIN :D :D :D Unsung, possibly unseen but did a hell of a lot of running and covering. Should have scored but hopefully he has done enuff to get the left back slot next week. BARROWMAN :D :D Strange choice - Tel must be seeing summat in training which doesnt happen on a match day. FORAN :D :D :003: :003: Suffered a bit becos of Barrowman - just shows the forward legacy that Brewster left us. SESH ARMY :003: :003: :003: :003: :022:
  23. Did we feckin rock Paisley ?
  24. Juanjo at Liviscum.
  25. I had better share my thoughts as well.
