  1. But the bottom line is that he doesnt have a feckin scooby !!
  2. It ws interesting to see a certain Mark Brown in the away support last night - chatting away to Mike Noble. I hear that is definitely on the cards.
  3. As I said in the Smileys he is solid enuff but doesnt exactly install confidence - the error last nite was awful - wide to the right of his goal - complete mishit - ended up 30 yards out in the absolute middle of the pitch but it feckin bobbled and O'Brien fluffed it - if it wasnt fer the pitch it was a cert. And Butcher would have been crucified.
  4. may surprise a few but lets concentrate on staying up - Lets fire the venom at the Muppets when the final whistle has blown - and are those cnuts in fer a savaging when the Fat Lady sings in the Heathmount lounge. :021:
  5. Easy Beastie - get a few cheekies down yer throat - Lets face it we have never experienced this before and it aint feckin nice is it - I was on tenterhooks all night last nite - especially that free kick situation in injury time. But I would have happily have taken a point last nite before the game - I would have left with a point when we equalised as they were caning us - and yet I was left disappointed at not being able to go home and relax and the feeling that we had thrown it all away. But we have 5/9 in the split so far with two games away from home - cant sniff at that. Unfortunately Falkirk have been the fly in the ointment but they have picked up 7/9. Rugby Park has been a fairly good ground fer us and there are still five teams in the mix. I do fear that this is going to go to the wire fer all concerned with the potential of at least two final day deciders at Sneck and Midden. I hope feckin not.
  6. I gave Proctor a 2 because I started to make comparisons with Lionel - some of his clearances, especially in the second half were terrible. I suppose you also get drawn into making comparisons with Rosscoe and he didnt get over the half way line. The defenders are under extreme pressure at the moment and one error could be crucial - that is why I am worried but I am fearful of Lionel. Good call from Mantis about Russeldhino but Black ended up with as many positives as negatives - especially in the last half hour. I only gave Morais 3 as I feel that he is not being used in his best role - wide on the right - he was more or less in the hole last night with little support coming through from midfield (except Royster :021: ) - and at times last night he just didnt click with Foran - although the two of them are clearly learning - but it is only 180 minutes to go. Imrie may have got a 5 if he was able to switch wings - which could be very effective if Morais was on the other flank. I beseech all the rest who attended last nite to join in this debate - and can anybody tell me where Royster was playing last night and what was his role.
  7. It is worrying that we are losing goals from dead ball situations. I thought they dominated us for a good 20 minutes in the first half and then we scored - we dominated the second but we dropped deeper after we scored and we were looking to hit on the break - and I too was surprised that Eric didnt replace Morais. The Fraser sclaff and the ridiculous free kick decision in injury time is not to be recommended. But it is still in our hands - and we havent been beaten in the split - and it is Bairns v Midden next as well.
  8. Probably same again :024: 90 more minutes of scary Lionel and Bambi moments !!
  9. It just simply has to be done.
  10. FRASER :024: :) :) I can only put it like Mikey hasnt let us down and he cant really be blamed for any of the goals - or should he have come for the cross for the second goal? - but he aint actually standing out either in the manner that Esson does - he is like a slow motion version. He nearly feckin gave me a stroke when he sclaffed that clearance with five minutes to go and he/we were lucky that the Well player didnt have a bit more composure. PROCTOR :) :) Bad night at the office - passing was terrible intermittently and he is almost making me as nervous as Lionel. TOKELY :) :) :) :) Commanding in the air and solid at the back but we really miss having a full back who can attack. MUNRO :) :) :) Solid if unspectacular but I still feel that he does a lot of covering for Lionel DJEBI ZADI :) :) :) First time I have seen him sober (me that is) and I will be having a few feckin drinks at Killie. He threatened to repeat his Hamilton performance in the first half hour - he was dire - and gave away the corner for the first goal _ Well clearly targetted him - but to give him his due he rallied and had a second half on a par to his performance at Castle Greyskull and his hoof come cross did find Imrie for the second - but he is a bizarre choice and the closer we get to the wire the more I worry about his unpredictability. IMRIE :) :) :) :) The match winner with his very well taken goal and a piece of wizardry to set up the first - he was back to his old action packed self but I still sense that he feels uneasy on the left. BLACK :) :) :) Not his best game was it - he was surprisngly wasteful tonite and sprayed quite a few bad passes but as ever he showed the passion, worked his socks off and put in a great defensive shift in the last half hour. KERR :) :) :) I can almost cut and paste for Black but he had a more combatative edge to him. McBAIN :) :) A bit Brewsteresque as I dont really know what role he was supposed to be taking on - he wasnt really covering Lionel and he isnt a marauding attacker is he. Another Mr Invisible performance. MORAIS :) :) :) Nice touches, good goal - he actually worked his socks off tonite, harried and tackled back. Again I would prefer to see him wide right as he doesnt look like a forward - and he visibly tired after 70 minutes. FORAN :) :) :) :) Sneaks my MOM from Imrie - fantastic front running and hold up play - he really deserved a goal fer his efforts. Could be the man to keep us up. BUTCHER :) :) :) Worrying that he has stuck with Zadi - still think we should have Morais right and Imrie left - very surprised that he didnt go fer Eric's pace when he hooked Morais. What does he say to them at half time ? Should do it at the start of the first half as well Great to see him so animated on the touch line and applauding / waving to the away support. SUPPORT :) :) :) :) Excelled - much better than I expected both in numbers and volume. Could have been a great nite if not fer the barstewards - let us stand rite up till we scored and then gave us constant hassle.
  11. But what if the player gets hurt and recovers quickly.
  12. Are we referring to Ross Kemp and Lionel Ritchie ? :blah01: Or are you Alex Gilroy ? Or are you pishhed ?
  13. Thank you - it worked - a feckin reaction from the deceased. :023:  How come my **** is in an asterisk and not the rest of them. Feck me it makes a change from february 8th!!
  14. When you are in a corner and you look around you to see who ya can rely on - ya go fer the proven, reliable and the confident.
  15. This is beginning to take the shape of a small but worthy wee crew - what about the SESH boys ? But lets all get in a feckin huddle and not spread out.
  16. Or perhaps he has had a North Sea spillage thinking about the potentially named ****s. (****) :023:
  17. If we get a result at motherwell it is the same again - and possibly fer the rest of the season - I have been suggesting consistency in selection and system for some week - I may not wholly agree with the selection but Butcher is doing what I suggested and it is his neck on the line in the long run.
  18. Why are you bothering discussing this - if any of us were in Butchers position we would probably stick to a system which is working - to a degree. I can accept what he is doing at Midden and against Hamilton (except Zadi) - we only lost a goal a game - we are unbeaten - we have a settled side - and he could be rollicked if he changed it too much. I suspect that the line up will remain relatively unchanged until the end of the season - perhaps Obdiambo may be the exception. After all Butcher has little choice now has he ?
  19. If we stay up at Fir Park or Killie NOBODY is going to stop me going on to celebrate with the players - Not appropriate at our own ground but remember Dundee Utd.
  20. :023: Moderator abuse But what I cant fathom out is if the police charge the club fer their presence why did the police have to charge me ?? And who was the **** ? I just cant get the image of maimie or lg or lizi draped in a tight yellow coat out of ma head
  21. To be fair I think that Imrie's best position is left wide midfield - how many times has he been played there since Butcher arrived ?
  22. I would suggest that Mr Ricksen had a better backgound, experience and footballing pedigree. Lionel will go back to being a squad player next season - but it is this one that we are worried about.
  23. But we dont know the rationale for Mikey to replace Esson at Midden - I dont believe that it was either tactical or based on qualities. If that was the case Mikey has a better kick but I would say that Esson shows more urgency and looks for the quick release - Esson may be the better shop stopper and both of them are suspect at times with crosses there really isnt anything to separate them - so I am told that the reasons were of a disciplinary nature. After the last two games can you really drop Fraser ? We need to know what has been going on behind the scenes. Personally I think Esson should never have been dropped.
  24. Only about 3 mins walk from the ground - on the left hand side as you're approaching Fir Park from Airbles, just off the main road where the high flats are. It's more or less opposite the point where you turn off that main road and walk up to the ground. I can see it my mind but I'm not sure if that description makes any sense. never believe someone when they tell you it's a 3 minute walk to the ground!!! i'd say give yourselves 30... :):) social club might be 3 or 4... :024: Put it like this - it is closer to fir park than Brechins is to Castle greyskull - but there again how does an athlete judge how long it would take mere mortals.
  25. The voice of the media You could be feckin ostracised again Tonalt. :)
