I feel that it just has to be Cowie - given that he is the first choice dead ball taker. I wouldnt mind giving Marius another crack at it either - he was unlucky against Hibs and should have the experience and composure to assume the responsibility. BTW, IMHO a goalkeeper should NEVER be the penalty taker (apart from in a penalty shoot-out) for the obvious reason - if he misses then he has to try and get back before the other team scores. Dont take any notice - it may just work - Marius has the blistering pace to play on the wide left - I can just see him now skinning the defender, hitting the bye line and knocking in the crosses.

But we have to accomodate Marius - that is why we are playing Bayne and Marius - Marius cannot play the lone striker away from home - it is a total balls up away from home - the club is becoming an embarrassment on the road. -
Reading into yer posts RIG I can see that you can see what I have been saying all season. Play Niculae at home but NOT away - the players must be getting totally cheesed off with this - it must be contractual - but it is losing us games.
