  1. But Caledonian were clearly the BIGGER outfit prior to the enforced merger - in all areas.
  2. Watching Setanta it looked like Dods but I suspect it was either Duncan or Roy. But how the feck are we supposed to win away in the SPL when we stubbornly persist with Duncan and Royster in the middle of the park. That is why we need a ball player like Black. Without that we are forced into the hoof mentality and the wide players like Rankin and Wilson are starved of service. Again I wish CC would get off his high horse with Black - and at least admit that he is giving young Rory a run in the team fer experience. Pat O'Linnen aint ready yet and McSwegan is ineffectual with the hoof scenario. Rankin especially is a better player when Black is there - that is becos he gets the feckin ball passed and Bazza can wander more. We appear to have returned to the lets sneak a 1-0 away win situation again. As fer Bayne - the hoof makes him look better as he runs about all day and is willing to go fer anything. All constructive criticism but if an insane old git like me can see the evident tactical drawbacks then shurely others can !! :020:
  3. More small team mentality - I am afraid. If we had got our tactics rite in the last two away games and had picked up 4-6 points the split would not be a talking point. I have always said that the system is a nonsense and laffed at down South. All teams should play each other the same number of times. It could be that the SFA should be a 10 club league and the SFL a 12 club league. That would make it more interesting. And lets face it - Money is what it is all about these days and influenced by the OF.

  6. Where the is the There's a rumor going about that if you buy a season ticket at Fir Park then you get a free space suit. Apparently it's due to the lack of atmosphere... What's the difference between Motherwell and OJ Simpson? At least OJ Simpson had some sort of defence. How many Motherwell fans does it take to change a light bulb? Yeah like they have electricity in Motherwell. An ICT fan and a Motherwell fan were sentenced to death by firing squad. The officer in charge asked the ICT fan if he had a last request. 'Yes' replied the ICT Fan, 'I'm a keen ICT, and I videoed the last two Cellic cup games and the St Johnstone promotion party. Can I watch them before I die? 'No Problem', replied the officer, 'I'll get the men to rig up a large screen, and you can watch it from here'. Then turning to the Motherwell Fan, he asked 'And what about you, do you have a last request?' 'Yes', he replied, 'Shoot me first'. What's the difference between a teabag and Motherwell FC? A teabag stays in the cup longer. :015: :015: :015: :015:

  13. Position: Midfielder Date of Birth: 31/08/1989 Height: 5 ’7’’ Previous Clubs: Ross County FC Youth Development Signed for U19's : July 2006 RROSS COUNTY WARN OFF POTENTIAL MACKAY STEVEN SUITORS Next Story | Previous Story | Back to list PAUL SMITH 08:50 - 16 February 2007 Ross County have told Premiership suitors they are wasting their time as they attempt to lure Thurso teenager Gary Mackay Steven away from the First Division club. English sides have joined Scottish Premier League scouts in the stands to monitor the 16-year-old County youth prospect. Mackay Steven is a regular Scotland's under-17 side and he is already training with the Dingwall first team squad. Director of football George Adams is predicting a bright future. He said: "Gary is a player who excites me and that doesn't happen often. He's got a fantastic chance in the game. He was called up by Ross Mathie for the Scotland under-17s earlier this month and it is recognition of some superb performances for our under-19 team. "He was outstanding recently against Stenhousemuir last week and several Premiership clubs are watching him, along with SPL sides. English clubs have spoken to me about Gary and Inverness have made an approach. He's a young player we want to cherish and see develop with Ross County but it would appear that he may have to move on soon."
