  1. Well if he isn't injured perhaps his ICT are numbered? I see Fox can't get into the Livingston starting line-up either. Only apperances have been as a sub
  2. Mark Brown has great reactions and is a fantastic shot stopper. He is however poor on crosses and his kicking from pass backs is worrying. I think its fair to say that Craig Gordon is by far and the way the best Scottish keeper there is
  3. Your optimism is to be priased Harry BUT...... If we couldn't beat the 'currently' worst team in the league then we should be very worried. I think this season may well be more of a struggle than many expected. There was a poll at the start of the season where the vast majority of the fans voted as to what they expected from the team this year. I may be wrong but I'm sure a high percentage expected us to finish in the top 6 and be pushing for a place in Europe!! That won't happen. SPL survival is a must.
  4. GREAT result - well done the lads :003: Chick Young's commentary (if you can call it that) was DIRE :008:
  5. Rubbish. We need to win tomorrow. End of story. Our manager has identified September as the month where we have to start getting points on the board. Motherwell aren't the force the used to be and if we don't get 3 points from them where are they going to come from?? Wake up!!!!!
  6. Well Sean Taylor won't be joining us. Apparently he had second thoughts driving up here for his trial period and turned his car round and went home :006:
  7. Sean Taylor, 20, Ex-Captain of Sundeland Reserves. Apparently a full back but can play in middle as well CC quoted again as being happy with his current squad
  8. He's VERY very unlikely ever to play for us especially with the Under-21 rule Was the problem not more the big wages he was on at County. Grandpa Smith gave him a long, lucrative contract
  9. Good News & Bad News???
  10. I'm not exactly thrilled with the signing of McSwegan but at least he gives us some cover up front. I don't expect to see him actually play though unless we are struck by several injuries or suspensions. Him getting a game would mean that Bayne or Rory aren't preceived as good enough by the management.
  11. He's going to start training with them next week so Hughes can have a look at him
  12. It came from the mouth of John Hughes on Radio Scotland last night - he was interviewed about 11.30 pm on there transfer window special
  13. He's training with Falkirk as of Monday with a view to signing for them
  14. Nothing about McSwegan leaving on Ross County website. Does say Winters has been released though
  15. Nope. The rules state that..... After midnight on 31 August, Premiership and SPL clubs cannot sign any players, on loan or full transfers, until one minute past midnight on 1 January. This window will stay open until midnight on 31 January. but Outside of the transfer windows, any club may still sign players on an emergency basis with the permission of their competition's governing body, ie the Premier League.
  16. It's impossible anyway the transfer deadline is over and that includes loans as well. We can only sign unattached players now
  17. I shall pray it is a rumour. They were mentioning it on TJE as well though. PLEASE BE A RUMOUR :016:
  18. :010: It's not a joke is it :009: Can't believe it to be honest. He couldn't even get on the bench for County when he was fit!!! I think no signings would have been better than this :008:
  19. Bob Malcom would be a better bet than Marvin Andrews
  20. This is a joke right?
  21. Even County signed someone today!! D'oh. I think it's fair to say we either couldn't afford anyone or couldn't persuade them to move up here :006:
  22. Well Miller IS signing for Aberdeen now. Does that mean the Stewart move is back on? Guess not it appears Falkirk signed him. Looks like we'll have to pin our hopes on these trialists - if they actually appear
  23. John Stewart!! :017: Glad that fell through I'm glad CC is happy with our current squad as his is the opinion that really matters - not sure many of the fans would agree though :006: Is Miller to Aberdeen definitely off - the Aberdeen & United fans still seem to think its a goer
  24. falkirk had a bid accepted by aberdeen for john stewart so that rules him out, miller gonig to aberdeen to repalce crawford if mackie agrees to move to tannadice
  25. I've been wondering all day who this forward we are interested in may be. I can't even work out which SPL club it might be. No side outwith the OF are over burdened with strikers. Chances are it'll come to nothing as usual and we'll never know.
