  1. There was speculation made by BBC commentators during the World Cup that 'foreign' money was behind the transfer of Tevez to Corinthians and that it wouldn't be long before he appeared in Premiership
  2. I'm hoping for 9 which may be a bit greedy but hopefully not
  3. Signed within the next 7 days. Hmmm...thats what they said last week as well :006:
  4. If this is true then West Ham have pulled off one of the biggest transfer coups of all time CLICK HERE
  5. What I read says that they are hoping to have it signed over the weekend or by Monday (AGAIN!!!!)
  6. We certainly seem to be the least active SPL team in the transfer market. I think most fans would agree we do need to strengthen the squad but are the funds there? Apparently we have been making some 'enquiries' about a couple of SPL players over the last few days but GB said if anyone comes in then someone else would have to go out on loan!! :017:

It also makes the club look a bit foolish coming out with these statements that never come to fruition :006:

    CIS Cup Draw

These ties usually get played on the Tuesday night unless either of the teams is playing on the previous Sunday
  9. USA just the beginning? From P & J Online..... Caley Thistle are set to spend next summer in the United States as the club embarks on a drive to establish a global brand. New chairman Alan Savage wants to capitalise on the Highland ex-pat communities across the world. He will kick off ambitions plans next month when he meets with a potential US partner.
  10. There is an article in P&J online saying we might go to the USA for pre-season next year to establish us as a global brand :010:

Someone on another thread jogged my memory that his contract extension was meant to be signed over the weekend when his agent got back from Greece :006: Any news?

    CIS Cup Draw

When are the games scheduled for?
  13. Hopefully only out for a couple of weeks **Click Me**
  14. I'm probably just showing my age but 4-4-2 always meant to me wingers getting to the byline and crossing the ball - a bit like our goal against St Mirren actually. Rangers will score a lot of goals this season once they get Burke fit. With him and Martin firing balls into Boyd he'll easily be the top scorer in the country. I bet if you asked Dargo he'd bite your arm off for such service rather than him having to try and win the ball punted up to him against 6-ft plus defenders. On the subject of Morgan I may well be wrong but I'm pretty sure I did read an article about him as I remember being surprised he didn't consider (alledgedly) himself a midfielder
  15. It doesn't seem to be the Rossco of old just now - I'm sure he'll bounce back though. I'm wondering if he still is being hampered by injury and playing through the pain barrier. There was an article/profile either in the Highland News or the Courier of Morgan a year ago or so which said he considered himself to be a left back but was prepared to play in left midfield if asked to. Hopefully someone else will remember reading that as well :004:
  16. Hart is a central midfielder who CAN play on the right McBain is a central midfielder who CAN play on the left Morgan is a left back who CAN play left midfield Barry Wilson is our only natural winger and yet we play 4-4-2 every week
  17. I would say I was lightly uneasy after the weekends result rather than worried. Hopefully we can manage to get a couple of players in before the transfer window closes. The balance of the squad isn't right. We still don't have a natural wide left player ie someone whose preferred position is there (before anyone starts mentioning Morgan, McBain, etc) Plus we have no cover for Wilson on the right either
  18. Draw takes place tomorrow
  19. Reading some of the posts from folk at the match I'm actually a bit more worried than I was before. If you say we played well and still got gubbed 4-1 I'd hate to see us on an off day. I only manged to hear the second half on the radio but it didn't sound like we played very well. Wilson missing that chance to make it 2-2 sounded like the turning point. Winning all those corners didn't do us much good as it seemed like Gordon just grabbed every one of them. I'm really begining to wonder if Rossco is still injured. There was talk of him having injections pre season to try and help the problem. Is he actually trying to play through the pain? Keogh had the same injury and was out for a year. The last few games he really hasn't looked himself and he is bigger than ever.
  20. 3 wins and a draw would be nice out of those games. You would think we'd have a chance of beating Motherwell & Dunfermline and nothing would give me greater pleasure than beating United. I see Robson got sent off again today - will he not miss the game against us now??
  21. Very true but not beating St Mirren is looking even more of a poor result now :007:
  22. OK after 4 hard games we managed 3 out of 12 points :006: We really have to beat Motherwell & United in the next 2 fixtures - we need some points on the board
  23. Oh dear. Quite a humping today :007: Prognosis on Wyness sounds worrying as well - possible dislocated shoulder
  24. :012: Will you never learn? ICT = 4-4-2
  25. Good opportunity to get 1 or even 3 points tomorrow. Hearts have quite a few players unavailable through injury or suspension :004:
