  1. Good points well made :003: Personally I think a lot of the 'missing' fans who turn up for OF games are Celtic or Rangers fans anyway and just sit in the home end
  2. I remember Di Canio getting banned for 12 games for pushing over a ref well Thatcher should get a 12 month ban for that
  3. I predict a few thousand will not be seen again till 27th December and even then they will look different :016:
  4. Bayne to replace Wyness but rest same as Sunday 4-4-2 as always Forgot Wilson likely to replace Keogh
  5. Absolutely - everyone sees the game differently :003:
  6. Alledgedly DUFC only made an initial offer of 10K for the player which didn't go down very well :015: An insultingly low offer - now where have I heard that before? :016:
  7. If Jim Hamilton was decent he wouldn't have played for 10 different teams in as many years. Him turning us down for County was a blessing in disguise. Any truth in rumours that CC said he was waiting to see the CV's of 2 young players we are interested in?? I wonder what a players CV looks like anyway :006:
  8. Caley100 I couldn't agree with you less about Hart :016: He had a dreadful game - if he was playing well would he have been taken off after just an hour? I think not. I don't think we will see him I the side for a while.
  9. Seriously you thought Hart played well? :010: :010: :010: I'm staggered by that. I was under the impression he threw away his bandage because he knew how badly he had played
  10. It may have been a good result but it was a less than impressive performance. The team must like rollickings at half-time as I'm sure they got another one tonight. I'm surprised the dugout didn't explode Parkie was thumping it that hard. We looked pretty good for the first 15-20 minutes and then just stopped playing. Lucky to go in at 1-1. Dumbarton could have and probably should have scored certainly once more. Better after the rollicking at half-time but not much. Bayne got a well deserved goal, he was indeed MOTM and Rory also scored a nice wee goal at the end. Dumbarton aren't a bad wee side or maybe it was our poor play that made them look good. Some good individual performances tonight and some dreadful ones as well. Very low turnout as well just over 1000 folk
  11. He's off to Wolves
  12. Aberdeen out!!!! :015:
  13. Some surprising results tonight. Can't afford to treat tomorrow lightly
  14. Fraser, Golly, Caff, Duncan & Bayne are my 5 guesses
  15. Much rather see Duncan back in the side than Hart
  16. Agreed we need to get the right sort of players I'm just a bit worried that our first team squad is kind of small We are now down to 24 players by my reckoning Of which 3 are keepers and 4 of the outfield players are still kids.
  17. With respect to Dunbarton any team we put out should beat them. Resting a few players for Saturdays game might be an idea
  18. Morgan seems to be out of favour he's not been in the squad since the 1st game of the season and Zander is one for the future. We really could do with someone on the left right now
  19. I wonder what sort of team we'll go for on Wednesday?? Will CC make a lot of changes and give fringe players a run out?? Would it make sense to start with Wyness in the hope that a goal might kick start his season or will Rory and Bayne get the nod?
  20. 536 is kilmarnock on my TV? :015: We need a winger Charlie - preferably a left winger
  21. So the transfer window closes in 10-11 days anyone like to guess how many more bids before then? :016:
  22. I think everyone knows or should know by now that the car park is a shambles but the simple solution is unless you have to don't park your car down there

    Ian Black

Sorry to interupt the Statothon but isn't this topic about Ian black?? :016: He is certainly a good player with lots of potential but I sometimes think people look at him through red and blue tinted spectacles. He certainly hasn't played as well as he did in patches last season. He was unlucky to get booked for his tackle on the Japanese guy but once again he went in lunging in on a couple of occasions which the ref luckily missed.
  24. I'm confused IHE :017: McBain was meant to be playing wide left - he certainly wasn't the holding player in midfield
  25. I agree he can play a lot better and I'm sure he will but he's played OK since arriving without setting the heather on fire. I'm just not sure him and Black work together in the middle - they seem to be very similar players and the balance isn't right. What worried me more today was how much we missed Barry Wilson on the right. Nothing against Keogh, who is probably one of my favourite players but he looked so out of place. Despite having an abundance of midfielders we still don't have real options on the left or the right (without Wilson) which has to be a worry
