  1. Just read in the P&J we have a 19 year old central defender on trial P&J LINK
  2. I hear Clach could be set to fold within the next few days
  3. kencar replied to finmack's topic in Caley Thistle
According to the article in the P&J the player didn't want to stay citing travel difficulties as part of the reason
  4. kencar replied to finmack's topic in Caley Thistle
No big loss and he didn't want to stay anyway
  5. No real surprise that the games off again. It's been rescheduled for Monday 18th
  6. You should be more worried about your manager going to Motherwell
  7. It was actually a dreadful back pass by Kerr that setup Rooney Proverbial game of 2 halves. Dundee pummelled us in the first and I don't think we forced Douglas into a save but we were much, much better in the second. If anyone can explain why we got that free kick in the box and Douglas got booked I'd love to hear it Barring his usual blooper Lionel was probably the pick of our defenders with Proctor being by far the worst. Pretty much all Dundee's attacks game from his side. Surprised by Butcher hooking Foran instead of the ineffective Odhiambho as was the majority of the crowd I think. Esson probably my MOTM for that save right at the end but Rooney & Sanchez also played well. Duff put in a powderpuff display McBain would have been proud of & Cox started to come onto a bit of a game after a poor first hour or so A point a piece is probably fair on reflection although it's of little use to us in terms of the league
  8. Seeing the forecast for the next 5 days the game must be in doubt
  9. Let's hope they buck the trend but being put on loan to Elgin has been the beginning of the end for most players the last few seasons
  10. Real pea souper today. I doubt the North or South stands would have seen the other end of the pitch? Despite dominating the first half we only went in 1-0 ahead when it really should have been 3 or 4. How the ref didn't give us a penalty in the 1st minute when Rooney was felled in the box I'll never know. Much scrappier in the second half but luckily we managed to hold on for a deserved win. I assume Imrie is away in January as his cameo today was p**h and he looked like he didn't want to be here

Puzzled by the logic in this signing unless Aberdeen offered him to us for nothing Could we see him making a start tomorrow?
  12. Blackie managed to get himself sent off after the match!!
  13. Whilst channel surfing last night I'm sure I saw a B&W add with Ian Wright & Terry Veneables bigging up team Ingerland. 6 months more of the hype to endure ;)

Weakening an already fragile defence can't be a good thing A back 4 of Proctor-Bulvitis-Munro-Lionel has to be the poorest in seasons. It could only be made worse by Butcher putting Stratford in at right back
  15. Can't see us making it into the 4th round. Still you never know!

Looks like I'm in the minority but to me Bulvitis is the weakest link in an already very shaky back 4

    Good post :025:
  18. Sorry to reopen such an old thread but..... Read in the paper he is now the reserve team coach at Birmingham! How did he manage to get that gig??
  19. Sounds like Burley could be on his way out according to the news on Radio 1 this morning
  20. Regardless of the team tomorrow is a MUST win game
  21. Just spoken to my old man upon his return from the game. He said Tokely, Munro & Bulvitis were appalling and that Proctor & Imrie hardly kicked the ball. Anyway at the game like to comment?
  22. Looking at the teams I guess their 4-5-1 is overwhelming our 4-2-3-1 in midfield. Can't say I'm too surprised we are losing. Today was always going to be a very tough game and a lot of supporters expectations were far too high after comfortable wins against poor sides. Let's just hope we can salvage something in the second half and not end up getting a thrashing but I have my doubts
  23. A very comfortable win against a dreadful Morton team

According to the Elgin City message board their goals were scored by Cameron, Tatters & Smith I'm pretty sure Gillespie signed for Nairn???
