Butcher is Boss
I could have probably phrased my earlier posting better. I meant more that a lot of people will be disappointed that Roberston didn't get the job but when that passes they will hopefully realise the Butcher/Malpas combo is potentially a good one for ICT

Relegation: A 2 Horse Race?
I honestly believe we are a better side than Hamilton & St Mirren and that's why losing home & away to them both annoyed me so much.

Butcher is Boss
Look only time will tell whether Butcher is the right man. He's got a tough job ahead of him considering the mess Brewster got us into. I'm certainly not as disheartened as when he (Brewster) was reappointed. We definitely have more of a chance staying up than we did under the old regime. Most of the negativity seems to be coming from the pro-Robbo camp but I think they are just letting their hearts rule their heads.

Butcher is Boss
How many times do Scotland play a season? Plus the SPL shuts down anyway. 'Most' Setanta games are on a Sunday - a day off!

Who will be the 3 candidates?
He'll certainly put us on the map on a national level. Just hoping he can keep us up as well

Butcher is Boss
It says accepted now!

Who will be the 3 candidates?
From a thread on another site just before christmas: Win% Alex Ferguson - 57.99% Arsene Wenger - 57.35% Outside the 'big four' the best others reported were: Two fifth placed spots for Spurs' Martin Jol? - 45.27%. Juande Ramos, the 'super-manager' brought in to do what Jol couldn't? - 39.29% Last years fifth for Everton's David Moyes? - 40.88% Current super-favourites, Villa's Martin O'Neil? - 39.60% 41.15% looks pretty good IMO.... World of difference between the Premiership and the Scottish First Division where the majority of Robbo's career stats are from

Who will be the 3 candidates?
Knox or Butcher for me
-
New manager thread (merged)
Just glanced at 2 papers in the shop this morning. One had a Butcher & Malpas combination as the favourite and the other Archie Knox. Both said Robbo had no chance of getting the job.

Hearts -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
McBain was left back. I though he was better than Hastings but it's irrelevant now as he's suspended. I also thought Duncan had a decent game. I stand corrected from reading earlier posts I thought we were playing a 3-4-3 Still despite an og, giving away a penalty and a red card apparently McBain was great

McBain's Red Card
Aye but why does he have both hands on the Hearts lad?? This is football not wrestling. Looks like a stonewaller! So he was booked and then shown a straight red for mouthing off? Utter stupidity No loss though
-
Hearts -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
The invisible man decides to show up and look what happens Poor player anyway and his suspension improves our chances against Celtic. Black should have been in the team today as a centre midfield pairing of Duncan & Mcbain has to be the weakest in the SPL :thumb04:

New manager thread (merged)
It now says on the updated BBC page McCall isn't even a contender Confusing, if, interesting times
-
Rory
Says in paper he will definitely sign for Peterhead this week
-
Who's Your Candidate?
Craig Brown has ruled himself out

New Manager Odds (merged)
My thoughts exactly! Do newspapers use a random manager's name generator when writing these articles? It's bad enough having a rubbish manager and then the scare the bejesus out of you with some truly frightening candidates
-
New Striker(s)
Dargo signed a 2 year deal for St Mirren in 2007 did he not? That means his contract runs out in the Summer. Might be worth a cheeky bid!! Then again he moved for geographical reasons
-
Mikey Fraser
He might be! Depends when he signed his last contract with us. He may still have been second choice
-
Black slams Brewster
He's been busy as he's in The Herald as well

Indeed he was. Spotted in The Corriegarth with Grassa! Thought I saw him on Setanta yesterday afternoon?

No to Robertson. The club needs a fresh start and some new blood

BREWSTER SACKED
AT LAST!! Most people could see he was out of his depth a long time ago. It was like watching Stevie Wonder play darts!! Let's hope we can stay up
-
Munro....Brew can still do it
Munro has never been a convincing captain and surely his place in the team must be questioned. Other players get dogs abuse for their performances whilst he gets away because he is 'local. he has to be the worst passer in the whole squad!

Brewster Poll
Seriously who are the 9 people who think he's doing a good job??
