He was granted a permit when he was brought here in the first place, and wasn't in his national team then so what changed when he applied for an extension, and how come the extension was easily obtained when St Johnston took him? Oh! and I'm not a united fan. Don't shoot the messenger this is what Murdo McLeod said yesterday on national radio and apparently Scotland was back in the national squad when St Johnstone applied for a work permit. He even said he thought the rules were wrong and should be changed but the panel had no other choice because at the time he didn't fulfil the criteria Anyway this is going a bit off topic. I doubt we could afford Scotland anyway, if the rumours are true he's heading for the Championship

St Mirren. Simply because I want them in the league next year as they will be losing a few of there better players over the summer and its always nice to have at least 1 rubbish team just in case things go horribly wrong for us!! I think Dunfermline have a decent manager and the potential to strengthen there squad and improve from this years form

Bit of a quandary all in all :024: Going to a 10 team league would just increase the tedium of playing the same teams week in week out, coupled with the fact we have to be one of the clubs at risk of going out of the top league. Increasing the size of the league does look the most attractive on paper but as has been mentioned above you lose a LOT of revenue reducing the number of fixtures especially missing out on at least a couple of old firm games which like it or not keep some clubs heads above water.
