  1. Whilst being in complete agreement with you Sandy, I would have thought there would be no complaint from CaleyJags fans at seizing every opportunity to view the pain, suffering and humiliation that our ex manager is currently going through at the foot of the table :003:
  2. Haven't been able to watch it since my digi box started acting up back in March - it was getting so dire that its almost been a relief not to see it! Setanta just too expensive, had a months freebie last season and I was impressed but can't justify the cost to the boss :007: and now that Delahunt is going there I'm glad I didn't.
  3. I've got no problem with Dods leaving or with his reasons for doing so, good luck to him... ...I just don't want him, or anybody else, to go to the Arabs!!! No way should we weaken our squad to strengthen theirs - my number one priority this season is to finish one place higher than those *****
  4. Brilliant - I love footie stats. Perhaps the most significant highlight from that table is the difference between our success and Plastic Whistle's failure. That probably had as much to do with good management off the park as well as on it! If we hadn't had the guts and determination to stand up for ourselves and fight the ludicrous SPL entry criteria we would probably have ended up the same way as Partick or even worse - instead of still being there to improve that statistic even further we might not even exist now! Big Canary well done to all involved in such a fantastic achievement :clapping04:
  5. Bold move to bring back the stripes - and I like it! :021:
  6. Interesting comment on Five Live last night from the Newcastle chairman. He said the Intertoto Cup was a means to an end to enter the UEFA cup, and competition of any sort was far better than playing meaningless pre-season friendlies. Couldn't agree more sir - and I still havnae booked ma holidays yet :004:
  7. I've been waiting for years for some club, any club, to break the OF stranglehold at the top of the league. Now I'm hoping Rangers catch Hearts and nick seond spot off them. Oh the anguish...
  8. The club should be applauded for making the gesture and having the courage to give it a go. I hope they are repaid with a bumper crowd who see a great game and want to come back for more next season.
  9. I've been on about this a few times and really can't see why the club don't go for it given the suceses of similar schemes up and down the country. Go on ICT, kids for a quid, you know it makes sense!!!
  10. Sad to say but I agree with much of Chris' assessment, County have had their day and their chance for now. More chance of them joining us if the SPL ever see sense and form a 16 team league but for the time being I think there's just too much quality/money about elsewhere for them to secure promotion.
  11. Oh yes, Lees Macaroon Bars, magic. And Aztec bar, can't really remember what an Aztec tasted like but I remember going through stacks of 'em.
