  1. If only the old Jeggies could get used to the song "Caledonia" IMO it is the perfect anthem. yep tis a good one replace the the word "caledonia" with "caley thistle" you mean everything to me
  2. i read a wee bit of it and i agree with what they're saying, songs about the easter rising are no different from the scottish folk/rebel songs i sing at home songs about easter 1916 and culloden are very similar. the ghosts of culloden by Isla Grant and the boys of the old brigade are no different imo as are many other Scottish folk songs and Irish folk songs thoughts on this folks
  3. agree not his best game but he tried to impress the new boss i said on the previous post he was lucky to have stayed on the park a player who keeps getting banned is no good to anyone
  4. What game where u watching? I dont really remember hearing "them" singing at all in the 2nd half well i saw most of the 2nd half on tele and i certainly heard the celtic fans singing in the 2nd half
  5. i think he's very lucky he stayed on the park after that tackle on Mc Donald if it had been one of our players who was tackled like that i'd have been going off my head a tackle from behind plus Black hit him in the calf, you could have broke his leg ffs Blackie. you'll be no good to us if you get banned
  6. no sympathy from me so i'll go ?82.50
  7. ceud mile failte gu Inbhir-niss Terry
  8. ?58.50
  9. what about "ceud mile failte"
  10. yep they've reached a new low, even by their standards. They've been on every sports channel in the country, every news channel as well and been in every newspaper the lengh and bredth of the nation but tonight they will be making a guest appearance on CRIMEWATCH UK, all of Scotland know about them and tonight the whole of Britain will know they are nothing but drunken louts. thank god they waved the union jack and not the saltire on their travels, thank god they sang rule britania and god save the queen and not the flower of Scotland or scot wa hae :thumb04:
  11. well they've been on most sports programmes throught the years and been in every scottish newspaper, but heres one programme they never wanted to be on. The hooligansd from the UEFA cup final in Manchester will get their mugshots shown to the whole country ye cannae take them anywhere
  12. i'll go ?42.50
  13. I admire your optimism but its a fact that Rangers are miles away from hearts in the financial trouble stakes. You have just 7% of the total SPL turnover (same as Hibs) yet you spend 120% of your income on wages alone...Rangers are below 60% of their income. And you have at least 35m debt. I am ICT only so no hidden agenda here. My point is that the SPL needs to ask more questions of Romanov as it is my prediction that you will not be in the SPL for another season Murray is indeed in massive trouble. In fact some are suggesting a deal is being brokered to get him out of the huns at the insistance of the Banks. Selling for 1 pound sterling plus taking on a minimum debt of 30 mil., plus sufficient cash to enable them to survive until re-newal of season tickets comes along. This is obvious since they have no other source of revenue, except a few going thru' as pay to get in at games (very few I understand). We shall see. Aplogies to those who don,t want to read any references to the huns! i agree with what you are saying about Rangers ( the huns ) being skint i read it somewhere months ago about their debt level rising by the month and almost out of control but the truth is Hearts are in a terrible state, at least the huns have got the backing to keep going in the short term in terms of supporters meanwhile Hearts don't. imho as said by someone else there's no hidden agenda from me against the jam tarts or for Rangers (the huns)
  14. ?35 from me by the way how do i pay for it folks..........
  15. Incorrect.. he used to be a season ticket holder at Ibrox. he can be forgiven for past sins can he not? Ooooh I Dunno About That.. he used to be a hun but he's alright now dougie dougie he used to be a hun but he's alright now dougie dougie imrie dougie dougie imrie dougie dougie imrie he used to be a hun but he's alright now dougie dougie imrie sung to the song " i know sumdy you don't know yogi yogi bear"
  16. i think it was an accident, but berra should haver been booked imo
  17. Incorrect.. he used to be a season ticket holder at Ibrox. he can be forgiven for past sins can he not?
  18. his commitment to the cause can never be questioned he tries his best and there's not much more you can ask from a player. i just wish he'd score more like the one he scored yesterday. The night we beat Greenock morton he came over to the crowd at the end and it was clear by the look on his his face he is a caley man through and through.
  19. one man's sorrow is an other man's joy if hearts go bust before the start of next season there will be NO relegation and let's face it we are close to it, so if the jam tarts go bust we wouldn't have to worry about a thing..................
  20. i think Doc done a great job motivating the players i may be wrong but this sounds like a dig at Doc ok so we lost to a last minute goalbut we HAD somebody in charge who KNEW what they were fecking doing. blame the players for that we had five defenders and the keeper in the box, hearts had two players and they still managed to score, doc was on the bench not on the park when they scored their winner.
  21. on the phone to the samaritans it was them who broke the good news to me 2 minutes later i was in the local ordering champagne
  22. it's too easy to blame individual players when the team gets hammered but the thing is why are we playing 1 up front at home? we all know Andy Barrowman plays better when he's got a partner up front. this is nothing but negative football, has Brewster been watching re-runs of the Rangers games from last season in the UEFA cup? sorry Mr Brewster but is the kind of tactics that would get foootball stopped people pay good money to watch the BEAUTIFUL game not ugly football i think we should get off barrowman's back and give the blame to the man who puts him up front on his own this was a home gae for god's sake and we have 1 man up front, i hate it when we play 1 up away from home never mind at home NOT GOOD ENOUGH. IMO
  23. saint midden away would suit me fine that's a home game for me
  24. sorry miss but i just dontbelieve this nonsense about refs cheating for one team or an other they make mistakes sometimes but we all do, but i think it's just honest mistakes
