Only opening day game that I've missed in nine years, but doesn't sound like I missed much. Hopefully this is a one-off, and a wake-up call. Look on the bright side, think of Almondvale two years ago - forget today, and say the season starts next week at Pittodrie (hopefully) :003:

Had to laugh at the programme on ITV last night about him. He was asked the question "What's the most stupid thing that's been written about you?", Beckham "Dunno, so many stupid things!", Interviewer "OK, for instance, how about the story that you only wear your trainers once?", Beckham (after sheepish pause) "Er, that's just about true..." :015: :015: :015:

Forgot the main reason for posting: if anyone IS getting the train to Livingston, it's a fair walk from either of the stations to the ground. Allow around 40 minutes minimum between the station and ground.

It's OK RiG, free soap provided on disembarking ScotRail do sometimes advertise Inverness trains as a destination somewhere else - e.g. Glasgow to Elgin, Aberdeen to Kyle of Lochalsh - I think they sit in Inverness station for about 15-20 minutes then reverse out again. It nearly caught me out once when reading the departure boards at Glasgow Queen Street I think - beware!

I'll put my hand up to being one of the Palmerston 28 - half-day off work, drove up, ate three burgers at the ground, then back to Stansted for flight the next morning! Wasn't that the game where Hissy took exception to being called 'Duckman'?
