Djebi-zadi
someone mentioned that maybe CB was the wrong manager for Lionel thought he played well today, despite a couple of dodgy moments, but did make some ecxellent clearances maby TB will get the most out of him

Ict -v- Celtic : Matchday Thread
the whole team played well, even Zadi had some good defensive clearances Eric got in about them in the short time he was on the pitch Well done ICT , 1 point of the tinks- I'll take that

Ict -v- Celtic : Matchday Thread
controversial i know, but i think we are being a tad harsh on Zadi..i dont think he's the worst player on the park

The Threat Of Relegation
What a difference a week makes...this time last week i was dreading going to Tynecastle, but 7 days later we have a new manager a potential 4 new faces to the squad on top of Morias, Theirry & Pavel A new honesty from our new manager And a new motivation and belief from the players Bring it on i say, i cant wait for Celtic and the remaining 15 games. WE ALL KNOW CAN BEAT THE DROP WE ALL KNOW WE CAN GET BACK THE FORTRESS THAT THE TULLOCH STADIUM ONCE WAS I BELIEVE, SO LETS ALL OF US AT THE GAME ON SUNDAY SHOW THE TEAM AND THE MANAGEMENT THAT WE ALL BELIEVE. to quote Anarchy in the UK- " GET OF YOUR AAAARSEE"

Brentford
"I'm the big chap making a pratt of himself down the front but 94th minute winners are there for that reason." great pic, im sure we have suffered a couple of those over the years. Pretty sure i saw Brentford play York, 8-9 years ago in York, although could have been someone else

A New Era?
I agree with you both Renegade/Johnboy my vote would have been Robbo for his passion & love for the club, but i suppose internal matters were an issue. However TB was my 2nd choice and there is no doubt he will get the backing of the supporters despite their individual choices for the post. TB's comments on ICT from his Setanta days have always been positive and im sure the performance against Hearts on Saturday was a deciding factor on him taking the post. He knows we are not a diddy team without talent. We have all seen that ICT have what it takes to sustain their position in the SPL This is the beginning of our league for me and i will support TB & Maurice 100%. Im going to say something i havent said all season. "I BELIEVE"

Dougie Imrie
I think Imrie has moved on from being a Div1 player. He's not quite the accomplished SPL player either, He's your classic Att/Midfield player who gets up the oppositions nose. I do think he works best with having a free/playmaker role and showed that on Saturday. I can only think of 1 other SPL player who could have scored that freekick on Saturday ( Nakamura), let alone a Div1 player Keep it up Dougie

Who will be the 3 candidates?
So looks like Butcher & Malpas Robbo was always my first choice, but lets face it Butcher & Malpas have bags of experience on the pitch Im sure Butcher will be a great motivator, you dont captain your national team without that I think they did a good job at Motherwell during a difficult time there, so they seem to work well Lets get behind them for the remaining games and take stock once the season is over and our survival is confirmed.

That Imrie Freekick
Some nice comments from Hearts fans on their forums I didnt think of it at the time but i did see some Jambos clapping his goal http://www.hmfckickback.co.uk/showthread.php?t=41850

Hearts -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
todays game gave me hope, the second half was just great entertainment...top class goals from Pavel & Imrie. Played the ball on the deck, some nice 1-2's and took the game to Hearts. Esson stood out for me, some great saves despite the 3 goals he let in and he kept us in the game right to the end The Ref was shocking though and his linesmean clearly went to the same opticians as him we were too busy celebrating to see the Hearts 3rd, but reminded me of last seasons 5 goal thriller at Tynie when we won 3-2

Graeme Bennett/John Doc

Butcher sounds interesting, but 'one of those sources' tells me that Robbo, Stevie Frail, John Mcglynn & Donald Park are the top 4

BREWSTER SACKED
I agree that allowing 4 transfers to happen then sack him 10 days later seeps of amatuer-ness on the board. They must have known he had 1 more game in charge Grassa in charge,,,,jeez does his ego really need this Come on Robbo you know you want it, we want you too as well- nuff said

BREWSTER SACKED
Its never nice to see a manager sacked, but this was the right choice. I wish CB well in the future

I arrived in Hamilton just as the 1st half was over, so missed the match however a Hearts friend of mine texted me to say that some ICT fans were scrapping amongst themselves over Brewster, he must have heard it on the radio is this true, surely not?
