  1. The Haymarket Bar will probably show it
  2. I agree with you both Renegade/Johnboy my vote would have been Robbo for his passion & love for the club, but i suppose internal matters were an issue. However TB was my 2nd choice and there is no doubt he will get the backing of the supporters despite their individual choices for the post. TB's comments on ICT from his Setanta days have always been positive and im sure the performance against Hearts on Saturday was a deciding factor on him taking the post. He knows we are not a diddy team without talent. We have all seen that ICT have what it takes to sustain their position in the SPL This is the beginning of our league for me and i will support TB & Maurice 100%. Im going to say something i havent said all season. "I BELIEVE"
  3. I think Imrie has moved on from being a Div1 player. He's not quite the accomplished SPL player either, He's your classic Att/Midfield player who gets up the oppositions nose. I do think he works best with having a free/playmaker role and showed that on Saturday. I can only think of 1 other SPL player who could have scored that freekick on Saturday ( Nakamura), let alone a Div1 player Keep it up Dougie
  4. a horrible song, and so glad they dont use it anymore, its so out of date. David Balfe indeed wrote it, but not the David Balfe on BMGFs post. I believe he co-wrote the song 'Beautiful Sunday' and was a member of a 'Brotherhood of Man' type group called Sunshine that appeared on Opportunity Knocks in the 1970's I did post a thread some months ago about writing a new song for ICT to play, so im still planning on doing this at some point.
  5. So looks like Butcher & Malpas Robbo was always my first choice, but lets face it Butcher & Malpas have bags of experience on the pitch Im sure Butcher will be a great motivator, you dont captain your national team without that I think they did a good job at Motherwell during a difficult time there, so they seem to work well Lets get behind them for the remaining games and take stock once the season is over and our survival is confirmed.
  6. Some nice comments from Hearts fans on their forums I didnt think of it at the time but i did see some Jambos clapping his goal http://www.hmfckickback.co.uk/showthread.php?t=41850
  7. todays game gave me hope, the second half was just great entertainment...top class goals from Pavel & Imrie. Played the ball on the deck, some nice 1-2's and took the game to Hearts. Esson stood out for me, some great saves despite the 3 goals he let in and he kept us in the game right to the end The Ref was shocking though and his linesmean clearly went to the same opticians as him we were too busy celebrating to see the Hearts 3rd, but reminded me of last seasons 5 goal thriller at Tynie when we won 3-2
  8. no matter what they do their going to get pelters
  9. much as i want more fans in the ground, which i believe Ossie would create...i would rather have more goals in the net right now Sorry but Robbo for me
  10. imagine posting that, as if we need a reminder id**ts
  11. Butcher sounds interesting, but 'one of those sources' tells me that Robbo, Stevie Frail, John Mcglynn & Donald Park are the top 4
  12. i hear a rumour that Robbo, Stevie Frail, John Mcglynn & Donald Park are the top 4
  13. I agree that allowing 4 transfers to happen then sack him 10 days later seeps of amatuer-ness on the board. They must have known he had 1 more game in charge Grassa in charge,,,,jeez does his ego really need this Come on Robbo you know you want it, we want you too as well- nuff said
  14. Agree whole heartedly
  15. Its never nice to see a manager sacked, but this was the right choice. I wish CB well in the future
  16. I arrived in Hamilton just as the 1st half was over, so missed the match however a Hearts friend of mine texted me to say that some ICT fans were scrapping amongst themselves over Brewster, he must have heard it on the radio is this true, surely not?
  17. 3 of us will be through from Edinburgh so see you all there
  18. Has anyone come across the ICT V Partick TV Highlights anywhere as i missed Sportscene on Saturday night The BBC seem to be avoiding posting these thanks
  19. I know what your trying to say CaleyD, but i think that in a way trying to maintain a Scottish Identity has been a problem for us IMO. Scottish Players havent really been setting the football world on fire in recent years, so i think our recent additions is the right way in order to compete with other SPL teams, as long as ICT dont start fielding an all foreign team I think our board has has a "keep it local" mentality of recent years, which im sure you will agree is football suicide..Sorry but you cant compete on a national stage with a local team. We do seem to have a good crop of youngsters ( Wood, Duff, Vigurs) and these guys have proven their good enough to compete for their place anyway i dont want to turn this post into a negative thread...on to Hamilton for a badly needed league win
  20. Ha, one in the eye for the serial moaners! Doesn,t take much for the pro Brewster peeps smugness to come out, does it. Its Partick thistle from the first division. At least we should get 6 points off them next season Pro-Brewster i am not Dewsbury..but many people did pour scorn over the 3 new faces without them playing a game in an ICT shirt, which i thought unfair. So hope they have changed their minds Born Caley while they had very good debuts and the signs look very good but I dont think to many will have made thier final desisions on players on one game particulary against a team from a division below. Is Brew a tactical genius by playing a winger up front then he scores 2 goals, I really dont know. Stevieco+ Dalneigh - I agree that it will take more than 1 game to change peoples minds, but there are too many posters who make judgements too early. Im willing to give them the chance and pass judgement after 2 or 3 games

  22. possibly too early to say but maybe some of the posters who thought these new players were duds might be trying to wipe the egg off their faces
  23. MORIUS AGAN...YEEES 3-0
  24. Vigurs 2-0
  25. " Do something Zadi?"- Classic
