  1. No, suited to a lot of people. I was told there were people outside the shop along with him. The first game of the season is only a few weeks away, the last pay weekend before that has just passed, so i think the shop should be open on Saturday to take advantage of the fact that people would come to the shop to try and buy tickets. Also, I don't understand why tickets aren't available online. Seems a bit stupid to me. Can't see how there would be too significant a cost involved in that. Perhaps the club shop could close on a weekday to free up wages for Saturday opening. Just a thought.
  2. Yes Alex, phones do sometimes have signal, but i was just making a point that the club could make it easier for people to buy tickets. If it was easier to buy the tickets then maybe more people would buy them, along with some merchandise. I dont think it unreasonable for a club in the SPL to be able to sell tickets online or open their shop on a Saturday. This thread is about why sales are down and I was only offering a reason for this.
  3. I would like to offer another reason as to why season ticket sales may be down. It can be difficult to buy one! A guy I work with went to buy one on Saturday morning, but the club shop was shut. It's only open Monday - Friday until 5.30. The shop only opens on Saturdays when a match is on. Also, when he went to buy it online he was unable to do so. Explanation for this is confusing, but something to do with once the fixtures have been released then they can't sell them online. We work until 6 or 7 every evening, miles away from Inverness which makes visiting the shop impossible. If the club made it easier to buy a season ticket, then perhaps more people would have.
  4. why oh why are people on here so damn negative. the guy hasn't even been officially announced as manager and some people already have him down as a failure! i personally think that a guy of Butcher's stature will be brilliant for our team. we are a small club with players who will most likely look up to someone like Butcher. some players may even see this as a possible way of getting into the scotland set up, so will try even harder! unfortunately after butcher's comments a couple of weeks ago about Black and his pca, i fear he may never play for ICT again.
  5. you can buy tickets from Hearts ticket office before the game. You can buy them from ICT just now i think.
  6. I think Charles would be a more 'scientific' manager...
  7. hamstring injury? according to the official site, blackie was suffering from the flu virus!! more lies perhaps?
  8. it's simple...brewster has no idea what he is talking about. once again blaming the players, suggesting it doesn't matter what formation you play it's whether "the boys" are up for it. condescending p***k!
  9. yes he should go! this run of form is an embarrassment!
  10. why dont we do something ridiculous like raid a team like county or saint johnstone for a player and try and give them Rory as part of the deal... making sure we can steal him back if it turns out that he is actually quite good at football.
  11. i liked a suggestion earlier in the post about perhaps mixing the red and blue and making a purple strip. maybe something similar to the colour of the fiorentina strips. this completely removes the element of having to keep both halves of the merger happy, whilst giving something new for the supporters who have moved on from caley and thistle and support caley thistle. only an opinion, feel free to shoot me down. as far as i'm concerned the home shirt should be red and blue stripes every couple of years changing the dominant colour.
  12. after last seasons start to the campaign i am quite pleased with how this season has started! being 7th in league is nothing to be scoffed at IMO. i'm glad we ain't stuck at the foot of the table and as long as we steer clear of it i will continue to be happy. although in saying that i would love to see the club progress and finally push into the top six, but a run of form would be the first step me thinks.
  13. it definately going to be a case of looking to the lower leagues for talent, so with that in mind. what about steven milne as an experienced striker who can score goals as well. i also agree that if we can afford it we should try and get james mcpake from livingston. if not he is probably going to end up at midden after it was reported that they were trying to sign him again.
  14. black with th header...... 3-1 brilliant
