Top 6, Keeping the dwellers in the shadows, first SPL Highland derby, making Deek become obsessed, Billy scoring when he wanted, Shinniesta pulling on a Scotland jersey, actually having the majority of the team signed up for next season, Butcher knocking back Barnsley, tearing shreds out of the Sevco at Ibrox, Roberts bawsack ruining County's injury time "winner", Vigurs greetin, coming back from 3 down at Tannidice, rakes more goals and other moments of entertainment that can be added too and this is all with plenty more of the season left. I was one of many that thought we would struggle, been made to eat the words. I can happily claim this has been one of the best seasons ive ever experienced in my young life an ICT fan, long may it continue.

Derek Adams has obviously hacked Wanderer's page.

Thank you Dundee, helped us win Division 1 and now have aided us in our top 6 finish.
-
With Warren and Meekings also tied down it now means we have a solid backline to build the defence around. Great news.

Someone needs to take him aside and tell him to simmer down. The stuff he comes out with is ridiculous, half the time he never thinks to check his facts and just leaves himself looking like a top class

Not a classic in terms of quality but we battled hard and got 3 points. Looked more like we were out to stop them playing with Foran dropping back into midfield but it was effective and thats us made it a Hat-trick of home victories against the shadow dwellers - very pleasing. Thought Taylor was excellent today. Can be a gamble playing a lad that young in such a demanding game but he stuck to his task well and was unlucky not to win man of the match. I dont see what the fuss was about the penalty. Seen it on ALBA and from what i see Taylor touches the ball away from Kovacevic who brings him down, that equals penalty. Back 4 were top notch yet again. With Warren, Meekings and Devine all tied down for the next 2 seasons we can look forward to more performances like that. We are literally in touching distance of the top 6 and the boys deserve immense credit for it. Along with Sir Terry, been a great season and today just added to it. Looking forward to the run in.

Could be a million and one reasons why Owain's contract talks arent advanced, he might want longer than 1 year given the season he has had but with his history of injuries we might not be prepared to offer more than 1...might not be able to afford his wages etc etc. Wouldnt dismiss it as him wanting a move away already.

Butcher wont go to Aberdeen. He's ex Rangers legend. Adams is a good fit for them i reckon, young manager who has pushed his current team up the table without having to play pretty football on a terrible pitch - he and Aberdeen are a match made in heaven.

Birmingham are said to be facing administration, all of their current squad are up for sale and they have been stuck in limbo over a proposed takeover all season which would bail them out. They may well be a Championship side but they are a Championship side that is falling apart. In any normal situation this would be viewed as a great move for Andy Shinnie but they are a club in turmoil, i wouldnt be bitter if he went there but i would be a bit worried if i was signing for a team in that kind of trouble.

Agreed with LukeyLuke. The spine of the team is more or less there. A few more signatures away from having more or less the whole team signed up. Continuity has been the key to our success in the past but has been more difficult to sustain in recent years therefore its incredibly pleasing to see this business getting done. If more of the lads do sign up which i hope they will then it could be a quiet summer on TCS...in this day and age thats rare.

I remember when he joined us you guys rated him really highly and i can see why. I would say he is the pick of our summer signings. Provided a real stability and leadership at the back and has also helped nurture the younger defenders on the pitch. His goals have been worthwhile too. His diving header at Ibrox definitely the pick of the bunch.

Great news, not many more to go now. Delighted that this business is getting concluded sooner rather than later.

Delighted to hear we are getting more of the lads signed up. We've built a lot of our good form in the past on keeping the same set of players for as long as possible. Agreed with Renegade about Raven, thought he was gash at the start of the season but he has won me over, one of our most underrated players at present, solid and consistent, cant ask for much better in a defender. I would keep most of the current squad, bar the loan signings and id probably let Hogg and King go. Its unfortunate that injury has disrupted their time here but in Warren, Meekings and Devine we have 3 good centre backs, dont think we have the luxury for more than that, the money freed up by them going could be better spent elsewhere.

Penalty, Graeme had plenty to gain from the position he was in having just mugged off whatever his name is and he is no diver. You could see from both players reactions what it should have been.

Was it Crawford Allan because if I remember right it said the ref was Steve Mclean on the BBC text. Beg your pardon, It was McLean.

Too many long punts and a contentious penalty shout with County's right back having the best shot of the game. More or less sums it up but a point is a result im very happy with. Definite penalty, one of many decisions that Crawford Allan got wrong today. What is up with their pitch? Its like trying to play football in a sandbox;

Delighted about Warren. Been arguably our best player so far this season. Added some real experience and solidarity to the backline.

Sent off my application for the job at lunchtime.

Great news, 2 of our stand out players. As said it could be a real boost ahead of el Kessocko.

One of the more entertaining 0-0 draws ive seen. Was end to end at times. Would be fair to say United had the better in the 2nd half but both teams passed up great chances to go ahead. I was impressed by Stuart Armstrong. He added the edge to their play when he came on...though his finishing was pretty woeful. Agreed that Andy Shinnie had a great game, covered every blade of grass and looked our most likely way of getting a goal. Defensively was where we looked at our best though. For 2 lads barely in their 20's Devine and Meekings had a great game. Their reading of the game was excellent, some of the interceptions and tackles were top notch. If Devine carries on like this i hope there is a new contract for him at the end of the season. Thought OTJ's distribution was great from midfield too, picked out some great passes. The table lies when it comes to quality of teams this season, United are still a great side and a 0-0 draw with them in my opinion is still a really good result. Hope we find that extra 10% for Saturday, we are going to need it as there is all to play for in this derby. Having Foran and Warren back will be key, cant wait for Saturday.

If the unspeakable happens then its not even up for discussion...Butcher out

I remember him as a lanky defender that couldnt head the ball and spoke next to no english, Munro and Fraser were constantly at him. But he set up both goals from corners. I agree, he was best left unsigned.
