  1. All officials ... sh*te
  2. We just do not lie down. At 3-0 we were in dreamland, at 3-3 with a penalty miss on our stats we were in hell but we got what we ultimately deserved which was 3 points and thats us now got the 3rd place very much in our own hands. Motherwell are clinical and did well to get level but Ojamaa deserved to go and with that the boys saw the chance to get our lead back A crazy afternoon and as big Tel has said a great advert for scottish football. Thought our boys were top notch today, especially Hogg. 16 months with no gametime and to come back like that i think pays tribute to his character and all those who have helped him on his journey back to fitness. Will be gutted when we lose Shinnie and Reguero too, both were key players in securing the 3 points today, they will need to be well replaced. We have had many memorable moments throughout the campaign but this one will stick with me for a while, especially if this is the match that does it for us. Its moments like this that have typified our season so far. Well done lads.
  3. If i heard Doncaster wanted to speak to me nothing would come of it either.
  4. Tights as well, i recall Lennon looking ghastly in them.
  5. Not to mention the shorts.
  6. I hope Allan Johnston gets it, out of all the managers his task was probably the most challenging and to have won promotion at such a canter with QotS is nothing short of incredible.
  7. Id throw Hogg in at least for a bit of the game. Reguero Meekings, Hogg, Devine, G Shinnie Draper, Tudur-Jones, Foran Doran, A Shinnie McKay Subs: Matheson, Cooper, Taylor, Pepper, Ross, Gibbons, Sutherland I would drop Foran back into that deeper role, we do need to win but we also need to bear in mind this is the best team in the league next to Celtic and i think we need to combat their play more than we have in previous encounters.
  8. If it had been against us we would have been screaming for a red card, whether Vine would have had control of the ball or not is questionable but if he did he would have been clean through, Thomson had a shocker of a game but i think he may have made the right call.
  9. My initial thought was red card but having viewed it on TV now im not so sure. Just really disappointed that any chance we had in the game went away with it.
  10. Higdon for me, top scorer, been a pillar of strength up top for Motherwell all season and will probably see them finish 2nd before the season is out.
  11. Chris Hogg its your time to shine. Gutted for Warren, been excellent.
  12. If Warren is fit then he has to start, was only when he came off that we gave away goals. Id go unchanged from Sunday.
  13. Good luck to him, been terrific in his time here, can only hope Tel unearths another gem (or Shinnie) of similar quality. His parents will be P O'd, they ll have to go between Inverness and Birmingham now to watch their lads play.
  14. As long as Birmingham dont do a Sevco it could be a promising move...at least he is going to try his luck in a better league, good luck to him i guess.
  15. Outclassed by team who contained a high number of internationals and averaged 4 goals per home game this season. yesterday was their day. It was pitty to see us throw away the hard work we had done in the first half but its hardly going to de rail the rest of the season, no ground lost from Perth FC so next week and the games following that are vital. Time to get behind the lads for the remainder of the season.
  16. All are defenders, most of which we dont neeed. All are probably out of our wage range anyway.
  17. Brittain would be an excellent signing, set pieces would be covered, he is a real box to box center mid too and the reaction it would provoke from Deek the Seethe, Uncle Roy and all the squabblers on OTB would be priceless.
  18. Apart from one or two lads from Dundee possibly we will get priced out of moving for SPL players...we always seem to.
  19. Take a chance on a few of the lower league players, Lyle Taylor, Ross Forbes, Joe Cardle, Stephen Doris...just to name a few... A new back up keeper is required, Whether Shane is kept on or not we need another striker in case we lose Billy to injury. Depending on OTJ and Doran, if they were to leave they would need replaced. A new flair player to fill the void left by Shinnie. The advantage this summer is we have a lot of the squad signed up, i dont see us needing much more than maybe 5 signings over pre season.
  20. Shane and Gavin are no longer youngsters really...certainly not in this team. They are good squad players but i really dont see them amounting to anything more than that. Ive been informed that Roberts has already returned to Arsenal.
  21. Yeah gotta be Roberts (Forans) goal away to the cabbage gobblers.
  22. Never mind 1994, if you'd said it back in the summer id have hit you. My expectations got blown away back in November when we sat perched at the top of the table alongside Celtic. Its just been incredible to see us make such a prominent rise this season, to the point where European football is a distinct and realistic possibility. Even after witnessing a match like last night i can just laugh it off because we are in such a great position. Its a strange and bizarre feeling but its also great. Its testament to all the happy clappers who perdicted this season would be better, and Richie Foran who promised us that at the end of last season. Whether we can repeat it next season will be the big question so best thing to do is just lap it up now and enjoy it. I know i certainly am.
  23. Erm no I'm Kevin... In which case you are breaking the conditions of your bail surely...get him nicked!!!
  24. Tade played right wing, said it all about their tactics, he still gets more in a first touch than he does in any shot ive seen. We struggled to get any space last night, got closed down very quickly but we were still unlucky not to score. OTJ nearly had another screamer and Draper was thwarted by a terrific save by Alan Mannus. After County's arse dropping today we are still very much front runners for Europe so come on folks lets make it happen, atmosphere last night was incredible, a few more games with that kind of backing and the lads will pick up results to make the dream a reality, no question about that.
