  1. The most pulsating crap game ive ever been too. It took me till last night to get off Cloud 9. Was difficult to try and play our fluent football in such an enclosed environment but we made the most of it and were deservedly ahead through Billy, delighted for the wee man, capped off a fine week for himself with his best goal for the club so far. His stock is fast rising. We were slow to start the 2nd half, Kovacevic was given too much time to tee up Quinn to score a superb effort. With it being game on it seemed to get more cagey with both teams cancelling each other out and County's anti football approach from the back didnt help. How many times did Boyd belt the ball straight out for a throw in? Must be a record of some sort. At 2-1 i thought we needed another to kill it off, but there was nothing Reguero could do about Vigurs strike, took a wicked deflection and he had the sun in his eyes all game. Cant abide Vigurs attitude. His celebration said it all about his character, no wonder Tel got shot of him. At 3-2 i thought it was over, as did everyone im sure. Was a very soft free kick to give and yet again Reguero was helpless to defend it. The added over added time was sufficient though. For the free kick and the celebration. Unlucky from Owain. Was a sublime strike that Brown obviously didnt expect. Made the most of the corner and County's lack of skills from set pieces was exposed again. Foran did brilliant to hit on the turn and while falling. Must admit i thought he had missed for a second, but as he wheeled away celebrating it was just sheer joy and relief in that away end, never experienced that before. It was a rollercoaster ride of a game but yet again we stop ourselves from losing, there is a burning desire to do well in this team. Cant wait for the replay. Oh and the reactions of Vigurs, Rosscoe and most of all Adams? Absolutely priceless.
  2. Well thats upsetting. I practically cheered his name when he hit the bar.

    Billy McKay

The boy deserves a thread of his own. I slated him non stop last season. Went as far to say that he wasnt worthy of such a lengthy contract but he has been immense these last few games, capped off a fine run of form by getting into double figures and imo has really proved his worth...well done Billy, keep it up.
  4. Its always the imperfections that make the team perfect haha. We have a small squad but the quality we have in the team is always going to be enough to see us through. With additions like Warren and King we added some much needed experience to compliment the guys like Foran. Think that was what we lacked at times last season.
  5. Same again, no point in changing it. Hope Draper is back for the derby though.
  6. Enjoying the positive vibe of this season so far. Everything that could go wrong last season did and it was a real frustration and a test of loyalty. With the loss in numbers we had and in quality i was rather pessimistic about our chances this season but the team have shown a real fighting spirit and in a manner that involves playing football that is pleasing to the eye. What is very telling is also the fact that lads like McKay and OTJ are playing with a point to prove and have all shown what they are capable of when they are on form. My only hope now is that we keep the good fom going long enough to stay in the top 6.
  7. Im not happy with only 1-0...Butcher out

    Ian Black

Black was a mainstay in our midfield. He arrived at this club a boy and left a man. His recent career choices may not have pleased everyone but the boy was one of our most consistent performers while here. He is and ICT legend, no question.
  9. Come on Luke. Your positivity is admirable but I find it hard to believe that any ICT fan can have found that game today genuinely funny. When Randolph made that save from Doran i laughed...simply because i didnt know what else to do
  10. Having watched our defence today a big 6 ft 3 plus defender wouldnt go a miss, should just bring Golobart back.
  11. We got brushed aside by Motherwell today and rightly so. In the likes of Humphrey, Murphy and Higdon they have some of the most dangerous and industrious players in this league and we didnt set ourselves up to counter them at all. Time and time again we play them and allow them too much time on the ball and get punished as a direct result. We carved out decent opportunities sure but Randoplh had a fantastic game, emphasized but the save he made from Doran's strike, he is a top class goalkeeper. We bounced back the last time we took a hammering from them and im hoping for the same sort of reaction after this. We've made too much progress to chuck it all away now, need to stay right behind the team.
  12. Reguero Raven, Meekings, Warren, G Shinnie Foran, OTJ Sutherland, A Shinnie, Doran McKay Subs: Esson, Cooper, Brislen-Hall, Morrison, Pepper, Roberts, Martins
  13. He gave a credible display tonight, looked good on the ball and set up Rhodes for his second. This will no doubt raise interest in him but im hoping he stays with us. When he first came here i didnt rate him and neither did a lot of others and obviously neither did Rangers (rip 1872-2012) but he has come a long long way from all that and has gone on to become one of the most promising players in the country, congratulations and well done to you Andrew, you deserve it.
  14. Rangers described as "Glasgow Giants"?
  15. Club kept it quiet but he has been with us for a good number of weeks so im guessing he impressed. Hope he gets a fair chance while he is here.

    Billy McKay

Heard that Billy McKay has been called up for Northern Ireland. Congrats to the man! Been in great form this season and well deserved.
  17. What if the Hearts fans dont give in to emotional blackmail and the club goes bust?
  18. Great news! Glad to see the club are taking the initiative to get this sorted asap. All 3 lads have had great seasons so far and are worthy of it. 2 year deals are good sign of intent as well...fingers crossed they will sign.
  19. If any serious injuries crop up then maybe we should look to strengthen but im happy with what we have at present. Club need to look at retaining the majority of this team for next season. Dont want a repeat of last summer in terms of the mass exodus we suffered. I have it on good sources that Arsenal are happy to let Roberts stay and the final decision is down to the man himself.
  20. Im happy, its an excuse to pay an early visit to the new and improved shoebox.
  21. Same for me, someone with far too much time on their hands, idiots.
  22. This game reminded me so much of February 2000. I know Rangers are 3rd division and all but ive grown up perceiving them as one of he best teams in the Country so regardless of their current status if we won i was always going to see this as a major scalp. Time truly is a great healer. We played some great football and showed some clinical finishing despite most of our starting 11 having never played at Ibrox or even a venue of that stature. There were times were looked shaky but our backline held firm and were backed up by yet another credible display from Reguero who made some great stops. Warren has been one of Terry Butchers best signings. He has such a presence at the back and he didnt let the occasion influence him, he didnt give McCulloch a sniff and took his header superbly. He was well assisted by Meekings who is seriously staking a claim as a central defender. At half time we had gone in creating little in what was a tense first half but we seemed to play with more freedom after the break with Doran, The Shinnies and Billy McKay all finding space. I felt sorry for Billy, he carved out some great chances but was thwarted by Alexander, he deserved a goal. Think the referee deserves a mention too, for the first time this season i thought i saw a fair performance from a ref and he got most of the major calls correct and showed a good level of leniency (particularly in Raven's case). Its been a great season so far and with such a young and enthusiastic team and last night was a real pinnacle. Long may it continue. Well done to Terry, Mo and the lads. You should all be very proud.
  23. Whats Rangers?
  24. Me plus a full bus, only the 2nd SPL team to play Sevco...will be historic.
