It's getting scary now!
With one up front and no service, I don't think it would make any difference if it was Bannerman instead of Barrowman.

Local press
The last time the local press dared to criticise ICT they faced a blackout on news from the club and a total ban from the stadium. Whilst I don't see that as any excuse for their toothless reporting on the current issues, I can understand why they might be treading carefully.

Barry Wilson (Merged)
There's a short interview with Barry on the radio this morning. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/scotland_ao...tland/inverness Listen to his voice and I think you can tell just how upset he is at this news.

Apparently this has just been confirmed on the radio?

The Brewster YES OR NO thread!
Much in the same way as those who wanted to increase the support for the man might create more than one account to argue things the other way???

I'm not Anti-Brewster, I'm Pro-ICT.

But would he want to go to another SPL team with the risk that playing against ICT and having a hand in defeating them somewhere down the line could see them relegated? I doubt it. Had it been anyone other than Barry then I might have argued the "in it for the money" line, but you may well be right. Anyway, as I said, I only think we'll see interest, what Barry chooses to do is another matter. If the rumour is right then other clubs will show interest. Whether that includes SPL clubs or not....we'll just have to wait and see.

OK I'll bite , what 2 SPL clubs do you reckon will come in for him ? I wasn't thinking specifically, but I'm of the opinion that we could see anyone outside the OF showing an interest. I'm not talking big contracts or long term deals here, but a couple of teams will see the benefit of having Wilson with them, even if it was only for 6 months.

I think "put to the slaughter" might have been a better description

I'm with Scotty and think this is a huge mistake by the club (if the rumour is true). The argument as to whether or not he's still got what it takes to contribute at this level will be answered by just how many, and which, clubs come looking for his services and I wouldn't be at all surprised if there's a couple of other SPL teams show interest.

Anyone else worried about Saturday?
If you are to believe what's been posted elsewhere then we're paying Barrowman the same as the far more successful and infinitely more qualified Marius Niculae whom we sold in the summer. So I wouldn't be so sure that the club would be spending any differently, or indeed more wisely, than we have done with the current funds.

The Brewster YES OR NO thread!
Have corrected it.

Anyone else worried about Saturday?
What's home support got to do with away performance?

It's getting scary now!
But when you factor in our win/loss ratio, which way are we most likely to go?

The tao of Craigy B
Can't believe this post just about fell off the page without response. Despite the frightening truth that lies beneath, it's one of the most humorous posts I've read on here in a while.

If brewster left (if only)
Fanoffooty, you really are out of touch if you think Ant and Dec are popular in any capacity, let alone among ICT fans

Car Boot Sale
Feck sake guys...even I would have struggled to turn a thread about a car boot sale into a club bashing exercise!!!

If brewster left (if only)
My current view is that things have gotten so bad and morale is so low across ALL areas of ICT that we are at the stage where it's going to need drastic changes in order to reverse the trend. Whilst it's not pleasant to be seeking to sack anyone I don't think we have any choice if we are seeking to improve things, and I don't just mean performances. Players and fans alike are in desperate need of a lift, especially if we want to encourage the players to give more effort and the fans to get behind them and help raise spirits. In order to achieve that then we need a manager who is not only liked and respected by the players, but who will be a popular choice with the fans (or the majority of fans). Having read much of the discussion on replacement managers there's only one name that doesn't strike immediate doubt into the minds of the majority of site users, and whilst a few have said they might not be his first choice, they have also conceded that he would be far from the worst choice. If those making the decisions at ICT really do have the clubs best interest at heart then they will be able to set aside any personal issues they might have and make the choices that are best for the club.

Brewster might be in with a shout of taking over there then?

Car Boot Sale
I decided to clear out the junk before Christmas comes around and a new batch starts gathering and decided to give the Car Boot Sale at the Stadium a go. Despite the weather not being the kindest I was surprised at the turnout (it may have actually been busier than yesterdays match!!!). I knew the gates opened at 7.30, but given the light rain felt safe sauntering down nearer 8 to get parked up only to find it already pretty full. I believe the hardcore car booters were queuing from 6.45 and punters were on the scene to buy not long after the first cars were in place (complete with torches). Anyway, just wanted to say that I was glad to see that it's being well attended by both sellers and buyers and that (from the sellers side at least) it seems well organised and well run.

Looks like we are stuck with the clown
Let's stay away from the name calling please. If you disagree with another users point then argue the point, don't get personal.

Home Form
Whilst the club can bury their heads and blame winter weather and the credit crunch for dropping attendances then I fear that the fact performances are having the biggest impact will be lost on them.
