Team News - Injuries and Suspensions etc
No, it states it's a league match he's suspended for. I still think they've got Draper and Devine mixed up!

Goal 1,500...coming soon!
Yeah, I was thinking the same - or a 'first goal scorer' sweep - which would obviously be our goal 1500... Heck, I hope it's not an own-goal by Stirling - that would be disappointing! I think Tansey would be a good percentage call to get goal 1500, as he takes the penalties and the within-range free-kicks.... But it could be a Warren header or a Vigurs or Polworth wonder-goal. I'd expect Storey to be favourite with the bookies for first scorer, but it really could be anybody!

There's no manager there at the moment, Scarlett.

What will 2016 bring for ICT
Good post! I think the number of players out-of-contract at the end of the season is something that needs to be addressed very soon. Only Warren, Meekings, Tansey and Foran are currently signed beyond then!

Team News - Injuries and Suspensions etc
I wonder if that's a mistake by the SFA? I was expecting to see Draper with a suspension, after picking up 6 bookings...rather than Devine? Confused.

2015 Premiership Table (01/01/15 - 31/12/15)
Points attained in the SPFL Premiership during the calendar year 2015. Obviously, St Mirren only contested the first 'half' of the year after relegation, and similarly, Hearts have only been able to accumulate points during the second 'half', having been in the league below at the beginning of the year....hence 13 teams are listed. Not bothering about number of games played, it's literally points gained from 1st January to the end of last season (1st column) + the number of points accrued in this campaign (2nd column); then the total. Incredible that Hearts (who despite, obviously scoring zero for the first 'half') are still ahead of Dundee United! And, although I should know better, It's still a surprise to me to see Partick Thistle so high up there! Celtic 53 43 96 Aberdeen 38 43 81 Ross County 34 30 64 St Johnstone 28 31 59 Inverness Caley Thistle 33 25 58 Partick Thistle 26 24 50 Dundee 24 23 47 Motherwell 19 24 43 Hamilton Accies 20 22 42 Kilmarnock 17 20 37 Hearts 0 36 36 Dundee United 22 10 32 St Mirren 19 0 19

Favourite ICT 'keeper Poll
A healthy 64 votes in at this time. Dean Brill making a late challenge since I last looked - and it's very tight between Ryan Esson and Jim Calder.... I stated in the opening post that the intention was to close the poll after the County game - but will now let it run for a few days longer (let's say the 5th January, when the decorations come down) as I was thinking that there are probably a number of folk who 'only' visit the site in the aftermath of actual games, and so won't have seen the poll yet. You could say, perhaps appropriately for this thread, that I've moved-the-goalposts!

Team News - Injuries and Suspensions etc
Yeah, that's 6 for Draper now...but, according to Soccerbase, just 3 yellows for Raven (in the League). But as rocky1 suggests, suspensions for cumulative bookings tend to take effect later than for red cards - so I think Draper will be available for the derby.

Favourite ICT 'keeper Poll
Yeah, I'm sure it's littered with errors, Renegade! I just put up the data as per Transfermarkt - take it with a pinch-of-salt. Pity there are no accurate records!

Favourite ICT 'keeper Poll
Unfortunately, I don't have! Unlike our penalty-takers (hence the 'dedicated' thread on that), I've never kept a record of our 'keepers' penalty saving stats! I doubt these have been reliably compiled anywhere, certainly those from the pre-internet-era! There's a website, Transfermarkt, which has penalty-saving stats for 'keepers (the only one I can find), but they only list them from around the time Mark Brown was our goalie - so, doesn't have his complete record. I've used their info to compile this list, but I must stress, it's not 'recognised' as a reliable source. (i.e. if you updated Wiki and cited 'Transfermarkt' as your source, your edit would be deleted) That said, I've no reason to doubt its veracity for our more recent 'keepers...but like all football databases is simply subject to human error. However, what is consistent, and these results support this, is my feeling that when a team have a penalty against us - they will score! Jim Calder - No data Mark McRitchie - No data Les Fridge - No data Nicky Walker - No data Michael Fraser - 0 from 16 Tony Reguero - 0 from 4 Ally Ridgers - 0 from 4 Zibi Malkowski - 0 from 3 Kyle Allison - 0 from 2 Cammy Mackay - 0 from 0 Mark Brown - 1 from 7 (incomplete record) Ryan Esson - 2 from 29 (7%) Jonny Tuffey - 1 from 12 (9%) Dean Brill - 1 from 8 (13%) Owain Fon Williams - 1 from 4 (25%)

Favourite ICT 'keeper Poll
Which goalie would you pick?! Just a bit of festive fun - a very short poll - it'll close after our game v County. Come 1000 competitive games for ICT (towards the end of next season), It would be interesting to compile a CTO - ICT 'dream team' along these lines. Deliberately wording the topic as 'favourite' rather than 'best'. For example, I acknowledge that Hughes is ICT's most 'successful' ever manager, but my 'favourite' would be Paterson! I'm also thinking that in 18 months time, the Dream Team poll would be done via PM's rather than a visible poll to reduce potential 'influence' - as I say, just testing-the-water here!

Goal 1,500...coming soon!
Who will get the 1500th goal? The 500th goal, back in the earlier years, was notched by Xausa, who was more of a 'cult-hero', than an ICT legend. The 1000th was scored by undoubted Inverness 'legend', Grant Munro - probably fitting! The 1500th could be netted by anybody if we go on a 'turkey-shoot' against Stirling - but, I don't actually see that happening. I'll just be glad to win that tie at the first time of asking! But, as we hit 6 the last time we played there in the cup, there's a chance it could happen in that game, hence this post!
-
Goal 1,500...coming soon!
My calculations have Inverness on a competitive total of 1,493 goals in all competitions. Just 7 away from the landmark 1,500! The next games are against Hamilton, Ross County and then Stirling Albion - it could 'go' in that cup game...or perhaps I'm jumping-the-gun! (or, some may argue....'the shark'!) 500: Davide Xausa v Airdrie (2000/01) 1000: Grant Munro v St Mirren (2007/08) 1500: ? (2015/16)

Ex-ICT players' news
Former ICT U20 player, Stuart Leslie has left Deveronvale to sign for Clach. He's been with the Lilywhites before, so today was his second-debut with them! A horrendous 10-1 home defeat! - it can only get better!

Team for Dons game
I think Vigurs is suspended for this game...

Have we seen the last of Ryan?
Too early yet to rule it out. (top 6) We've 2 difficult away games coming up - then the Highland derby, followed by our Cup defence, early in the New Year. For me, that's a good 'check point', and a time to re-evaluate our hopes for the rest of the season. It'll also be during the transfer window...much can happen yet. But we also need to remember that we've only 4 players signed for next season, so off-the-field activity is also crucial for us in the coming months.

Ex-ICT players' news
That's interesting, CMIB, I hadn't realised he was only on loan. He's probably 'too good' for the Juniors, at this stage of his career, but as Renegade mentioned earlier, he does seem to be a home-bird and would possibly prefer to find a club closer to Edinburgh than Peterhead. Not sure about the registration situation, though! I did look it up, but there's 80 pages of SFA jargon to sift through...I apologise for 'slacking' but I've 3 days of darts highlights to watch!
