  2. Yeah, I'm sure it's littered with errors, Renegade! I just put up the data as per Transfermarkt - take it with a pinch-of-salt. Pity there are no accurate records!
  3. ^^^ That is a thing of beauty, CMIB! Great work!
  4. Unfortunately, I don't have! Unlike our penalty-takers (hence the 'dedicated' thread on that), I've never kept a record of our 'keepers' penalty saving stats! I doubt these have been reliably compiled anywhere, certainly those from the pre-internet-era! There's a website, Transfermarkt, which has penalty-saving stats for 'keepers (the only one I can find), but they only list them from around the time Mark Brown was our goalie - so, doesn't have his complete record. I've used their info to compile this list, but I must stress, it's not 'recognised' as a reliable source. (i.e. if you updated Wiki and cited 'Transfermarkt' as your source, your edit would be deleted) That said, I've no reason to doubt its veracity for our more recent 'keepers...but like all football databases is simply subject to human error. However, what is consistent, and these results support this, is my feeling that when a team have a penalty against us - they will score! Jim Calder - No data Mark McRitchie - No data Les Fridge - No data Nicky Walker - No data Michael Fraser - 0 from 16 Tony Reguero - 0 from 4 Ally Ridgers - 0 from 4 Zibi Malkowski - 0 from 3 Kyle Allison - 0 from 2 Cammy Mackay - 0 from 0 Mark Brown - 1 from 7 (incomplete record) Ryan Esson - 2 from 29 (7%) Jonny Tuffey - 1 from 12 (9%) Dean Brill - 1 from 8 (13%) Owain Fon Williams - 1 from 4 (25%)
  5. Both clubs agreed to the earlier kick-off time. http://www.hamiltonacciesfc.co.uk/fixture-amendment-weds-30th-dec-v-ict/
  6. Which goalie would you pick?! Just a bit of festive fun - a very short poll - it'll close after our game v County. Come 1000 competitive games for ICT (towards the end of next season), It would be interesting to compile a CTO - ICT 'dream team' along these lines. Deliberately wording the topic as 'favourite' rather than 'best'. For example, I acknowledge that Hughes is ICT's most 'successful' ever manager, but my 'favourite' would be Paterson! I'm also thinking that in 18 months time, the Dream Team poll would be done via PM's rather than a visible poll to reduce potential 'influence' - as I say, just testing-the-water here!
  7. Who will get the 1500th goal? The 500th goal, back in the earlier years, was notched by Xausa, who was more of a 'cult-hero', than an ICT legend. The 1000th was scored by undoubted Inverness 'legend', Grant Munro - probably fitting! The 1500th could be netted by anybody if we go on a 'turkey-shoot' against Stirling - but, I don't actually see that happening. I'll just be glad to win that tie at the first time of asking! But, as we hit 6 the last time we played there in the cup, there's a chance it could happen in that game, hence this post!
  8. My calculations have Inverness on a competitive total of 1,493 goals in all competitions. Just 7 away from the landmark 1,500! The next games are against Hamilton, Ross County and then Stirling Albion - it could 'go' in that cup game...or perhaps I'm jumping-the-gun! (or, some may argue....'the shark'!) 500: Davide Xausa v Airdrie (2000/01) 1000: Grant Munro v St Mirren (2007/08) 1500: ? (2015/16)
  9. Former ICT U20 player, Stuart Leslie has left Deveronvale to sign for Clach. He's been with the Lilywhites before, so today was his second-debut with them! A horrendous 10-1 home defeat! - it can only get better!

  11. I think Vigurs is suspended for this game...
  12. Too early yet to rule it out. (top 6) We've 2 difficult away games coming up - then the Highland derby, followed by our Cup defence, early in the New Year. For me, that's a good 'check point', and a time to re-evaluate our hopes for the rest of the season. It'll also be during the transfer window...much can happen yet. But we also need to remember that we've only 4 players signed for next season, so off-the-field activity is also crucial for us in the coming months.
  13. That's interesting, CMIB, I hadn't realised he was only on loan. He's probably 'too good' for the Juniors, at this stage of his career, but as Renegade mentioned earlier, he does seem to be a home-bird and would possibly prefer to find a club closer to Edinburgh than Peterhead. Not sure about the registration situation, though! I did look it up, but there's 80 pages of SFA jargon to sift through...I apologise for 'slacking' but I've 3 days of darts highlights to watch!
  14. Scottish Cup Ryan Baptie (Linlithgow Rose 5-1 Wick Academy)
  15. Saturday 9th January - 3pm (unless otherwise stated) St Mirren v Partick Thistle (Friday 8th - 7.30pm) Airdrieonians v Dundee United Annan Athletic v Hamilton Academical Dumbarton v Queen of the South Dundee v Falkirk Dunfermline Athletic v Ross County East Kilbride v Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale Linlithgow Rose v Forfar Athletic Livingston v Greenock Morton Motherwell v Cove Rangers Raith Rovers v Hibernian St Johnstone v Kilmarnock Stirling Albion v Inverness Caledonian Thistle Heart of Midlothian v Aberdeen (5.30pm) Rangers v Cowdenbeath (Sunday 10th - 1pm) Stranraer v Celtic (Sunday 10th - 3.30pm)
  16. Not sad at all, Mantis! If I lived 'down there', I'd likely be in attendance tonight, too! These games are the essence of the Scottish Cup, for me. Two clubs from different Associations and cultures. There are also 'bragging rights' at stake here. I was guilty of suggesting the Highland League had proved its superiority over the Lowland League when the Highland League had 7 clubs involved in the 3rd round, with 'only' 2 from the Lowland League. However, a win tonight for the Juniors would leave me with egg-on-my-face. Four non-league teams in the last-32...1 from the North and 3 from the South! C'mon the Scorries!
  17. He seems to want to stay part-time, due to his job as a plumber. And if it's true what can be earned in that profession nowadays, he'd probably be taking a pay cut coming here!
  18. I know you mean well, but that is sexist stereotyping of the highest order! Football (for men) attended by the blokes, while mum is 'freed up' to doubtless spend the afternoon in the kitchen preparing the dinner or catching-up with the ironing! Granted, you didn't specifically say such, but it was kind of 'subconsciously' implied!
  19. Aye, a poor result, but it was almost worse! Almost half-way through the season now, and much to play for! Europe, Top-6, relegation play-off! All possible!
  20. The Linlithgow v Wick game is now on Tuesday 22nd at 7.30pm - apparently there's a big marquee on the pitch on Monday.
  21. Result: Wick Academy 2-2 Linlithgow Rose Wick equalised in 90+2 minutes to secure a replay! (Monday 21st December)
  22. Tonight: Highland League Daniel Park (Keith 1-5 Cove Rangers)
