That beard he had made him look like a tramp. Hartley also looks a bit like someone who has a cardboard sign saying "HOMLESS AND HUNGARY EX-SOLJER PLEASE GIVE MONEY FOR DRUGS CUP OF TEA" in his back pocket.

Everyone hated Paul Hartley, he was one of those players. He changed through his career, starting as a winger, moving inside to be an attacking midfielder at Hearts and then playing deeper. Perhaps I'm reaching a bit but that bodes well for him as a coach I think - he's obviously shown that he can learn new skills, is good positionally and can develop.

I don't think we need a big personality to take the team forward. Our team is good as it is, we are in our best ever position, we have leaders all over the pitch (Warren, Shinnie, Foran, Draper). It's not as though a manager is taking over a down on it's luck group who need gee'd up.

No-one in the media or the bookies has any idea. I doubt many of the newspaper or BBC Scotland hacks have any real contacts in our boardroom, they just appear to have listed out of work names, a couple of ex-ICT players and up and comers.

The idea behind stealing flags comes from the Ultra culture in European football - an Ultras group were supposed to disband if someone else nicked their flag. The idea being that you would storm their end and beat them in a fight until you could swipe their flag. I'm guessing that this didn't happen in this case

Don't worry, Kel will do perfectly well. If nothing else his substitution numbers should be ok after all that maths help I gave him when he sat next to me in school. Taught him all he knows. How old do you feel having an SPL manager who was in the same year at school as you?

Top photo Mantis, it was a beauty of a free kick by Greenhalgh. We were on top in the first half but Hearts had much the better of the second. The only real chance we created was a late free kick by Liam Polworth. It was freezing. My knee seized up it was so cold.

There used to be guys who took a 'Leith Caley' flag to games, haven't seen it in a few years.

Leith is a great part of town. Trainspotting was set in the early 80s, it's all gentrified now with Swedish themed pubs and latte bars on every corner.

Given Hearts turnover of managers perhaps a Manager of the Month award would be better suited for Tynecastle. Lazslo won the football writers manager of the year award and the SPL award

What he won hearts' manager of the year? No he won Scottish manager of the year.

Lazslo won manager of the year for the full season he was in the SPL, overall he did a good job at Hearts.

We'll probably take 1,000 odd fans to this and get slated by the media. Hopefully it's us v St Johnstone in the final in front of 6,000 fans. **** the SPFL and their sponsors.
