  1. Dods and Brown were in it as well. That's the regular protocol in these games, to get the local fans out.

Also, how are things going at Ross County by the way? Seem to be on a one way train trip on the Relegation Express from what I can see! Unlike a certain other Highland team!

    Shouldn't have fed the troll...

Just out of interest NorthofInverness2, why did start an exact same thread a few months back?

Well the main obstacle I can think of, is that Josh Meekings...happens to English. He also happens not to be a left-back. Billy Mckay was on the bench for Northern Ireland just last night.
  6. I wouldn't be surprised if someone from the Scotland set-up never came up here. For laziness reasons more than anything else.
  7. Treading carefully, but I see if you go onto YouTube's live section, you may find a match featuring a certain number 7...
  8. I'm sure Craig Brown came once in our pre-SPL days about a decade ago. Don't know why though.
  9. *Think I'll give this thread a wee bump...* Attacking, entertaining, effective football More strength in depth than last season, with essentially all positions covered and covered well A more settled, stable defence than Celtic A striker scoring for fun (which Celtic don't really have, and also scored more goals last season than the "wonderboy" who left them) Top of the league and flying No team outside the Old Firm has won the top division in Scotland since the 1980s, but someone else is going to have to win it eventually. Just because it hasn't been done for a long time, doesn't mean it can't be done. It CAN be done. Will it be done is one thing, but can we do it? In all honesty, I think we can.
  10. We changed into white the last time we were away at Dens.
  11. I see it's been confirmed as Tuesday 24th September. Just out of interest, what'll happen with the shirts? Dundee's dark blue will clash with our home jersey, while the black kit would clash even worse. Will both teams line up in their away jerseys, or will the white kit make a re-appearance?
  12. Maybe it's a new slogan we need. I remember about a decade ago, one of the newspapers referred to ICT as something along the lines of "the most entertaining team in Britain". Maybe we need something like that on the posters. "Come and see Britain's/Scotland's/the World's most attacking/entertaining/exciting team!" If you market it like that, and make sure people know they're going to see something exciting, they might be more inclined to go.
  13. Not sure one can say Butcher has assembled a full squad. ?? He certainly has a fine first 11. Not much on the bench though, unless somebody knows different? If we ge injuries or suspensions what can we do about it. The squad seems wafer thin to me. I am told rightly or wrongly that free transfers and loan players can be signed after the deadline if the club has room on the registration forms. We really ought to be looking for back ups. This is not a troll I am genuinly concerned with the bench. You're either a troll, or extremely stupid.
  14. ^^^ Has not seen Motherwell this season.
  15. You could actually argue with the current attendances, that we have one stand too many!
  16. Can't quite grasp the logic myself. "Hey, there's loads of scaffolding over there! What should we do?" "I know, build a stand!"
  17. Pushed off the what? Plant pot? Biscuits? Helicopter?
  18. Having seen the penalty incident back, his hand is up, but the ball whacks the side of his head! They'll win that appeal no problem.
  19. Good display, kept the ball well, but should have had a heck of a lot more goals when you consider the amount of shots and chances we had. Have to agree with Butcher about the penalty, and I was saying it at the time. I think I'm right in saying Mckay's missed his last three penalties, and I've never been that convinced by his ability with them, even the ones that he's scored. I wouldn't have him taking them again, unless quite a few players missing the next time one comes up.
  20. You're right about the adult prices being in line (still too much across the board IMO but never mind), but had a quick look there and quite a few SPFL clubs seem to have their concession prices around the £11 mark. Now that's more like it.
  21. I think if we're wanting to bring in more people more regularly, the match ticket prices have to be looked at again. I know money's tight and whatnot, but some of the prices are a bit much IMO. An adult ticket for the North Stand for tomorrow is £21, while a concession is £16. Now that's a bit much. A few weeks ago, I got a side-on view from the upper tier at Tannadice as a concession for £12, while it was £10 for the lower tier. Now that's more like it. If you want new or casual fans to pick up the ICT bug, you're going have to get them through the gates in the first place, and in the casual fans case, going much more than they are now. I wonder though in some cases if the prices for matches are putting some people off.
