Tahiti
I thought that 6-1 flattered Nigeria somewhat, especially as Tahiti did some kamikazee defending. The number 13 for them sure looked a player though! On the whole, I didn't think they were that bad a side and bear in mind that they won the Oceania Cup ahead of New Zealand, who were unbeaten at the last World Cup (and played very well at that). I believe there's been talk for some time of merging Oceania and Asia, and surely Tahiti would be a far better team if they had more regular game and better opposition.

Tahiti
I hope Steve Marsella will watching the game, or will even be there in person to find us some new star players! Interestingly though, one of their players plays in Ligue 1 and has previously played for Nantes. They also have a rather eclectic numbering system. Number 8 and 10 are defenders, number 3's a midfielder and number 2's a striker! Interesting fact though: A Pacific Islander has won the World Cup. Christian Karembeu was in the French 98 squad and was from New Caledonia!

With the badge on one side and the Errea thing in the middle, could we stick a number on the other side to give a sense of symmetry? It would also look cool.

Kyle White
I wasn't attempting to make for him, just seems a bit strange that there was a host of clubs after him and numerous scouts from all over Britain watching him. Only for us to then release him and the winner of the race to sign him up is Clach!

So only a few months ago, Kyle White was a highly rated youngster who we'd have a struggle to keep. Who's he signed for? Clach

The "Signed Up For Next Season" Thread
So as things stand, I'd say our current best line-up is (bearing in mind that these new signings are good and how I expect Butcher to line them up) - Esson Raven Warren Meekings G.Shinnie Foran Draper Doran Vincent Evans McKay Bench - New Keeper?, Hooman, Allen, Ross, Pepper, Devine, Watkins And that's without a place for Greenhalgh and Williams. Looks pretty good and pretty set already I'd say.

Pre-Season & Charlton away (merged)
Indeed. In fact, I've just read that Man Utd are in the USA playing a glamour friendly that same night! The team they send north will be unrecognisable!. They're charging £20 to get in that night as well! What a cheek!

The key word there is "XI". It'll be a U19 kind of team they'll put out, similar to what Liverpool did in Barry Wilson's testimonial.

I hope Terry Butcher doesn't lend him his hat when he's scouting players! That thing's horrendous!

Good article here - http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/inverness-caledonian-thistle/transfer-talk/news/greenhalgh-looks-forward-to-inverness-chance_88255.html The most interesting part is this bit I think - I hope he doesn't mean long ball!- The "Signed Up For Next Season" Thread

It's certainly different! I'll have to see in the flesh to properly form an opinion, but that collar if it weren't blue would improve it dramatically. The black and red, and then a very prominent blue collar looks a bit weird. Imagine as well, if it was as it is, but just plain black. The pinstripes ruin it IMO.- Caley Thistle Signing Spree

They should stick a big ICT badge on the front of it as well!- Phillip Roberts Contract
I was only speculating as to a rumour I had heard and as to whether it had affected said player's performance. He was the one who described my contacts as "amazing". With the latest news of Roberts release, maybe they are amazing after all!- The "Who Should We Sign" Thread
