  1. Jones might have had a good long shot, but he only scored with it twice!
  2. We were all excited and anticipating all the shirts we've had in the past without all these stupid teasers!
  3. He signed a contract extension only a couple of months ago when his current deal still had a year to run on it. Sounds like it's rubbish to me.
  4. Was mucking about on the computer with the template and photos ICT are posting and came up with this. With crest and sponsor still needing added if anyone has the photoshop skills to do it. I tried piecing bits together, though I think one or two are from the back or the inside but that looks about right. Some of the photos have been rotated to act as red herrings I think.
  5. Indeed! People constantly pronouncing his name as if it was "Owen Tudor" was very annoying! I expect the same next season with Greenhalgh* though! * It's pronounced Green-Hal"
  6. I must say that while the "stale" remark is never actually said by Jones, his comments are a little galling. If he'd said he felt it was time to move on then that's fair enough, but to tell us that he wasn't that bothered about Europe with ICT but is all excited about it with Hibs, leaves a rather sour taste. A new challenge? Seriously, what?! Playing the same teams again for a bunch of bottom half dwellers and a short foray into Europe (which he's done before with the powerhouse that is Bangor!) doesn't sound like a new challenge to me. Sorry Jonesy, but you're story doesn't add up. I wonder though if there's been some falling out or something with Butcher? To be one of the first names on the teamsheet all season to then be dropped to the bench with a few weeks left of the season was strange one and an on-going saga of whether he'd sign when it was obvious he was off makes me wonder if there's more going on behind the scenes. Ordinary I'd be sad to see him to go because he's a good player, but with comments like that I'm not so bothered.
  7. They obviously know what it looks like and the fans are the ones who'll be buying it and paying to watch it next season, all these weird teasers are childish. It's a new shirt they're announcing, not a blooming movie!
  8. I've no idea about Cooper actually. Haven't seen him mentioned anywhere in ages. Cheyne and Ferguson are signed until the end of next season I believe.
  9. There's no Paul Ritchie either.
  10. As things finally stand: Signed up till the end of season 2013-14: Ryan Esson Richie Foran Ross Draper Conor Pepper Ben Greenhalgh Adam Evans Danny Williams (Butcher, Malpas and [i believe] Marsella are also in this category) Signed up till the end of season 2014-15: Josh Meekings Nick Ross Gary Warren Graeme Shinnie Billy McKay Daniel Devine David Raven Liam Polworth Ryan Christie Signed up till the end of season 2015-16: Aaron Doran _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Leaving the building: Andrew Shinnie (joining Birmingham City) Antonio Reguero (joining Kilmarnock) Chris Hogg (turned down new deal) Shane Sutherland (released) Gavin Morrison (released) Scott Mathieson (released) Kyle White (released) Owain Tudur Jones (joining Hibernian) Charlie Taylor (returning to Leeds United as his loan deal has expired) Martin Laing (released) Simon King (retired) Already gone: Philip Roberts (returned to Arsenal) Jordan Gibbons (returned to Queens Park Rangers) Andre Blackman (returned to Celtic and was subsequently released by them) George Brislen-Hall (released) Andre Martins (released and is now playing for Goias in the Brazilian Serie A)
  11. I think with Williams, Greenhalgh, Doran, Ross, Foran, Evans and Draper all signed up for next season, we won't be seeing or needing any more wingers for next season.
  12. Strange he's going on about Europe with Hibs when he said the other week that Europe with ICT wasn't a big deal for him because he'd done it already with Bangor. Risky business given him a two-year-deal as well, he's terribly injury prone!
  13. I was reading somewhere that Butcher's keen on bringing Taylor back again next season.
  14. The Players' Player of the Year last season was Graeme Shinnie.
  15. Looks to me like it's black or dark grey then!

    Simon Ferry

I think someone's on the wind-up again. Ferry would be a good signing, but there is zero chance of him coming.
  17. Will Marsella be attending the Confederations Cup this summer? I believe there'll be some Tahitians worth watching!
  18. An ageing never-was with a history of injuries? No thanks.
  19. A "Caley" home and "Thistle" away shirt is a bad idea IMO. All it'll do is open up old wounds, particularly as the "Caley" shirt would be used more (strange how that's always the one identified as being the home kit, why not by the same token, Thistle at home and Caley away?). We should be creating an identity for our club as "one" (encapsulating "togetherness" if you will), and going to a relatively equal red and blue home kit (preferably as a striped jersey). Having two different identities for the home and away shirts would do the exact opposite.
  20. If that advert has the shirt in the background, then that would suggests that it isn't the "Thistle" kit posted, but looks to me to be red?
  21. Shame he's away, but he can be replaced.
  22. He almost certainly won't come, but I'd have that Greek left-back at County here in a second!
  23. Is there any chance of getting a big/foreign team a la Antwerp and Vallodolid at the Caley Park again this year?
  24. Needs to work on his final ball. Other than that I'm pleased.
  25. Was there not a plan to go to Northern Ireland a couple of years back that was then shelved before we'd announced the fixtures, but the opposition clubs had? (Seem to remember Cliftonville being one of the ones involved?).
