  1. By does everything big that happens to this club always be a huge controversy? BTW - nothing on the Daily Record page.
  2. That must beat the record of the oldest player to ever play in Scottish league football. Who is actually none other than Jim Calder! He holds the previous record when he turned out for Peterhead, at the age of 47.
  3. I was at his dinner but maybe not completed as with others He left before his game could be played. No, Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club is the longest name in Britain but there are a few bigger ones. Some Icelandic teams have much bigger names.
  4. Could you be thinking of Ashley Cole? He was offered a ?55k p/w deal by Arsenal but thought that the offer was peanuts and wanted at least ?60k p/w. It could of been, I saw an interview with Jack Charlton recently and he brought it up, and it kinda jogged my memory on the whole thing. In the case of Cole, really what's he going to do with the extra five grand a week?
  5. The major problem with Smith is he's more concerned with trying to improve football as a game than sort out the problems internally. We need someone who's one and only concern is the good of scottish football and technological improvements aren't going to improve the standard on the park (unless we start using football playing cyborgs)... the Summer season league was a non starter because we would be screwed if we ever make it to a International competition How do the Swedes get round it?
  6. I've seen him play a few times..............he's not very good.
  7. Why does the women's league always get such crazy scores?
  8. What actually are the odds for Dundee to still win the title? Must be pretty big now.
  9. Doofer'sDad talks a lot of sense. I think The Knowledge is quite good too. :024:
  10. I was actually gonna start a thread like this myself. Personally, I think he could be a good attribute to the ICT squad. From what I've seen of him, he's got a good touch, height, some slinky skills and seems to have a bit of pace as well. He can also up front or on the right wing I believe too. Could be a good signing reckon.
  11. 0/5 Ok then The answer to No 1 must be nobody then. LDZ was sent of in the 29th minute (according to match report on this site). Incorrect Is no 3 an Insurance broker. No Still think I'm right with No 5 You're not. :026:
  12. I have a theory on what you can read from this poll. I reckon that if there seems to be no out right winner, but a fairly even amount for each player, that means it was a good team performance. If you see one out and out winner, it means that one player was outstanding but not a particular good team performance. If you see one or two players with huge numbers and the rest of the votes for second and third place are fairly even, then it was a good team performance with a couple of outstanding individuals. Just my take on it all.
  13. If you read between the lines and done a bit of background reading at the time, for me it seems quite likely that the un-named team that Tokely was linked with was Ian Ferguson's North Queensland Fury. He seemed to be looking at a lot of Scottish based players, Dunfermline's Scott Wilson and Ross County's Dyron Daal being the main two that comes to mind. Ferguson has since left NQF and is away at Perth. That'll be why Tokely's deal is off.
  14. You know, in some ways you're so close.
  15. Well I don't know where to begin really. Only you could start an argument like this.
  16. Wasn't really "early season" though, it was still the case for the Raith game a couple of weeks ago (McBain didn't even make the bench).
  17. For me - Esson Proctor Tokely Munro McBain Duncan Cox Hayes Sanchez Foran Rooney Subs - Allison, Djebi-Zadi, Odhiambo, Eagle, Bulvitis Now not the time to change stuff, ICT need a point. Come on the Caley Jags!
