  1. All in all it was an all right sort of game, but it could of been so much more. Nice to see ICT passing the ball on the deck a lot more. Esson had little to do, Golly and Munro looked solid, as did Tokely. I'm still not a fan of him at centre-half mind, as he seems far too keen to pull out wide and at teams seems to play as ICT's 2nd right back. Cox fairly zipped about, while Duncan I thought had a quieter game, while Hayes played well and Foran worked hard. Rooney also put the effort, but Sanchez didn't seem to be quite as good. He does seem to have a bit of class, but his passing wasn't the best and he seldomly takes his chances. If he could actually score goals, he'd be some player (I actually also thought he hit the woodwork three times. To me it looked like he hit the post, not long after he hit the bar in the second half.) An okay game and a good win. How Airdrie beat Dundee I'll never know, they were pretty rotten.
  2. That's surely got to be the end of Mowbray now. I'm quite surprised actually, I thought he would be quite good.
  3. No longer do we have a Barry Wilson or a John Rankin. or a Don Cowie :P Most of Cowie's corners were rubbish. Most were just wee flicks to the edge of the box. Does anyone else remember Odhiambo's corner about a month ago? I laughed it was so bad.
  4. :P Now some of the Celtic fans finally find out what it's like to support a wee (or normal) team.
  5. Think about it - Less drivers + no bad drivers (ie - 95% of women) = crashless society. And that would also knock old women drivers out too (the worst of them all). Perhaps parts of Afghanistan? On ye go! I thought Saudi Arabia had banned female drivers (one of the few things they've got right! :P )
  6. How do you find women-free roads?
  7. For me - Esson Tokely-----Bulvitis-----Munro-----Golabek Cox Duncan Hayes Sanchez Rooney Foran Subs - Allison, Proctor, Odhiambo, Eagle, Djebi-Zadi/McBain/Ross
  8. That's the problem, there's really no-one in the current squad who is that good at it.
  9. His set pieces aren't even that good. Some of his corners are like glorified, knee high passes. Eagle's got a good cross, while Stratford can take a good corner.
  10. It's because of the "Highland Mentality". Folk are quieter, more reserved etc.
  11. I didn't know Bulvitis was playing.
  12. I never saw TB tonight - MM seemed to be in charge, and it has to be said, did a pretty good job. Anyone know where TB was? Watching Partick Thistle maybe? He was in the stand because of his touchline ban I think.
  13. Just out of interest, is there much of a travel industry for the Faroes?
  14. Well lets have a look - Robbo/Park - ICT - Success Robbo/? - Hearts - Okay Robbo/? - Ross County - n/a left pretty early. Robbo/? - Livingston - Sacked Robbo/? - Derry City - Sacked So by the looks of things, Robbo's record without Park is somewhat mediocre.
  15. Just out of interest, why does the thread title say "Back in prison"? He was never out. He might have been in hospital but that title gives connotations like he was out walking the streets.
  16. It might make more of a case for it, but it's still a bit of a risk. After all, it only needs one mistake.
  17. The thing is though, what happens when the powers that be make a mistake? If you have a death penalty, one day that will happen, and that isn't worth having it IMO.
  18. Something else I'd do besides passing and stuff in training, would be to play loud rock records on speakers when the players train, as well as just before they go out. The Brazilians practice to music, so why can't ICT? And it's not just that, studies have shown that playing songs with hard beats and big choruses (Meat Loaf being a prime example) can lead to road rage. Perhaps playing Meat Loaf and Bruce Springsteen records during the training and in the changing rooms on loud speakers, could inspire the team to victory!
  19. That reminds me, I had an ostrich burger from one of the stalls in the High Street a few months ago. It was okay, nothing special. Wild boar is very nice though, I'd recommend that.
  20. Sorry sir. I know, I've been foolish. And let me clarify - whaling is bad.
  21. Completely agree there. I had some kangaroo a while back, it was okay - a bit tough. But it's not just burgers and stuff though, I for one love Sushi, and most of all, Vegemite! I think it broadens your horizons on the world.
  22. Moving on from the other thread about dolphins and whales and stuff, I want to put this hypothetical question across. It's well known that in some countries in Asia (South Korea being one I think), they eat things like cats and dogs (and snake too in some places). So if you were in one of these countries and were offered a bit to try, would you try it? I think I would.
  23. HT - ICT 1-0 Airdrie FT - ICT 2-1 Airdrie ICT 1st scorer - Rooney Airdrie 1st scorer - Trouten Attendance - 2,357
