    Sanchez

He also could've scored a great goal today if it wasn't for some good keeping.

    Sanchez

He might have missed that chance today, but his passing throughout was better than most.
  3. They've already said that they'll use Victoria Park.
  4. Swearing at moderators is not big or clever. :(
  5. JJ another manager who in recent weeks has blown it I reckon.
  6. HT - ICT 2-1 Partick FT - ICT 2-2 Partick ICT 1st scorer - Cox Partick 1st scorer - Cairney Attendance - 2,612
  7. Apparently MFR have just confirmed Bulvitis is back till the end of the season.
  8. If by Queens Park you mean that wee shinty stadium, then I doubt that possible cos of it's wooden frame. I do seem to recollect someone from the inside (quite possibly Sutherland) saying a couple of seasons words to the effect that they had not ruled out a move to the Bught sometime in the near future.
  9. I had a wee look up Bryan Adams' website, and he seems to finish his American tour in Morristown, New Jersey a few days before, before starting a short Danish tour about a fortnight later. Seems rather convenient, so could theoretically happen.
  10. I think number 7 is a Under 20 game or something, where Eric's brother turned out for Tanzania.
  11. Eh, what do you think you're doing? Start your own quiz instead of hijacking mine. :moon2:
  12. The question is actually about players playing for ICT at the time, not those who went to other clubs. Honestly some people... I'll post them on the 31st.
  13. Send for Obama we need change!
  14. I think what he meant was those who contracts were up at the end of last season and the ones the club wanted to keep ie - Foran, Djebi-Zadi, McBain, Proctor etc.
  15. Well we had my New Year's Quiz, now it's time for my January Quiz! Answer these questions by using your own knowledge only. Cheating is wrong and very naughty. Just post your answers further down the thread, you won't be getting any of them right anyway. :D 1. Which actor did Terry Butcher fall out with, essentially ending his time at Sydney? 2. Name the former ICT player who has exactly a 50% record for goals and games. 3. Butcher's former club Sydney FC, either contemplated or in fact did sight legal against a small Norwegian side named Sparta. Why? 4. Before the North Stand was built, a couple of seasons previously the club had drawn plans for a North Stand with a somewhat different design. Had this stand been built, what did the club intend to call it? 5. Last time round, I mentioned that Steve Paterson was signed for Yomiuri by German manager Rudi Gutendorf. Gutendorf has another link to ICT, what is it? Post your answers now!
  16. He might be good at tennis but Murray has to be one of the most dull people I've ever heard to listen to.
  17. True, and it would've made sense to play him there against Falkirk, had a natural right back such as David Proctor slotted in next to him, but that's not what happened. He isn't played Mihadjuks out of position, IMO was too big a risk to take.
  18. Could we add a poll to this thread? Anyway, to me, he's been a disappointment. He started well but blew the safety chances just for his own ego when he replaced Esson with Fraser, along with that bizarre starting line up for the final game of the season. Of his signings, they have been a bit of a mixed bag. Some have been good (Foran, Cox, Hayes), some have okay (Odhiambo, Bulvitis, Sanchez) and some haven't worked out at all (Eagle, Stratford). Perhaps the oddest thing is that some players just seem to have disappeared under Butcher. Hastings had still a part to play at this club, as does Roy McBain now, but the disappearance of Iain Vigurs for me was the biggest blunder of his time so far. From what I could see, Vigurs was a good player and a good passer of the ball, and had the potential to be the new Black, maybe through time he could be even better. Butcher didn't play him because he "was a good player but wasn't Butcher's kind of player". Seriously, unfathomable stuff. So that's my short run down of Butcher's year in charge, I doubt he'll be here to celebrate his second year in charge.

  20. Where's that bloke MacGregor when you need him eh?
  21. Are you sure about that? IIRC Butcher is down as manager, as was Brewster before him. Charlie Christie was not though and was down as "Head Coach", from what I can remember.
  22. Aye, they do. Though the impression I get, is that they quite frankly couldn't care less.
  23. I don't care if he scored two goals for Queens, he's been poor at best for about the last five years.

Notice as well that the old Millburn Academy is still there with the new one looking just about finished (it also looks like hometime!).
