  1. I can't believe that some people are blaming Butcher in all this. Do they really believe the turn around that could come to fruitation with ICT in the SPL next season would've happened if Brewster had stayed? I doubt it, if Brew hadn't been sacked ICT would be long gone by now. I doubt that not even Alex Ferguson with Jose Mouriniho as his number two would do much better than Butcher and Malpas have done, cause after all the current squad are not the best players in the world, they are huiman, they WILL and have made mistakes. Who do I blame? Well not Butcher and Malpas cause what they've done in the space of a few months is unreal. Brewster? He shouldn't have been brought b ack in the first as after his Dundee United disaster is was plain to see he could couldn't cut it at this level. The Board? If the board hadn't brought Brew back and perhaps gone for the capable managerial skills of Owen Coyle (who possibly would've come), then I doubt this would have ever happened. If the worst comes to the worst and ICT go down, the board must act like the men they are and accept the blame.
  2. I gonna go with something have haven't gone with much before, the classic 4-4-2: Esson Tokely ? Mihadjuks Munro Djebi-Zadi Morais Black Kerr Imrie Barrowman Foran Subs - Fraser, Rooney, Odhiambo, Hastings, Vigurs, Proctor, McBain/Wood Esson in goal, Tokely moves to right back replacing David Proctor, with Pavels Mihadjuks slotting in to centre-half. Munro in at centre-half as well with Lionel Djebi-Zadi at left-back. Morais and Imrie at left and right wing with Black and Kerr in the middle to ping the ball out to the wings. Up front Barrowman and Foran, with crosses into the box or passes along the ground to them. The tactics should be simple, keep the ball on the deck and keep the hoofing malarky to as absolute minimum. Try and play the ball down the wings for crosses into the box. If ICT need to score I'd look at throwing Odhiambo, Rooney and Vigurs on.
  3. My biggest worry about the possible departure of Butcher, would be that Malpas would probably get the job. No thanks I could do better myself.
  4. By the way, has Ralph Milne eaten his hat yet. Hamilton are guaranteed to finish above ICT.
  5. It's the question that has engulfed man since the dawn of time. Who will go down?
  6. Would it not go down to who scored more? Probably, but ICT and St. Mirren would both be at -20 each (if that situation was to arise). Just heard on the wireless that if ICT get beat by one goal, St. Mirren would have to get beat by 3 or more to go down.
  7. It looks like if ICT get beat next week and St. Mirren lose by 3 or more goals. Then ICT say up. If ICT lose and St.Mirren lose by 2 goals, then it goes to a play-off I think!
  8. Oh Jesus, this is dreadful...
  9. I'd be trowing Odhiambo and Rooney on.
  10. I'd be throwing everyone forward. Could sure do with a goal.
  11. What a nutcase should be banned 10 games for that nonsense.
  12. Yes McGeady, i havent really seen any other good players play against Inverness that has provided more of a threat to us than Aidan McGeady. BTW am 16, 17 soon :crazy03: :crazy03: Surely Latapy would be better than him no?
  13. He was born in Inverness apparently.
  14. I'm guessing the actual line-up is - Fraser Proctor Tokely Munro Djebi-Zadi Morais Black Kerr McBain Foran Imrie Could be Foran and Morais as the front two though with Imrie at right wing.
  15. I'm all for playing three forwards but the only thing with that line-up is that there's no striker there who's a big guy. Personally if I was to go with three up front it'd be something like - Imrie - Barrowman - Foran There's no way anyone can justify going with one up front at this point. ICT have to play attacking football with a fairly attacking formation. Let's get this sown up tomorrow, cause I can see Falkirk beating ICT.
  16. Who's the best player you've ever seen live?
  17. As the title says, would staying the SPL this season, at one point looking dead and buried be a greater achievement?
  18. Oh dear is there really any need to be so graphic?
  19. I tell you what I'd do in the pre-season. Lionel has something that a lot of other players don't have, both height and pace. He's got a few slinky too. I reckon Lionel would be far better if he played left wing, possibly with Imrie moving into sitting behind the front two of Foran and a new prolific striker. If Lionel was in an attacking position, sticking crosses into the box and puting pressure on the opposition full back he could be a very useful player indeed. Antoher thing as well is if he comes up against a rather slow, immobile defender like David Weir for example, and Lionel gets past him, he won't be caught. In the whole of the pre-season I'd be training up Lionel to play into this position.
  20. :024: :) :) are u serious? :) Yep, you must be very easily amused.

  22. what bollox! You ashamed of being from the highlands? We should be using every bit of our heritage to enhance the clubs image... I couldn't care less what other supporters/media think of us, we are ICT from Inverness in Scotland... f*ck everyone else!! (even if I have stayed in the central belt for the last 6 years :) ) Some people go and on about how the Old Firm hang on to their heritage, And if you ever go to Celtic Park you see how nuts about it they are..........and where it could lead. Come on everybody lets get over it, we're in the 21st century.
  23. I heard that if Brewster had stayed, his plan was to loan out Garry Wood to Ross County and bring Richie Hart back in (as replacement for Black perhaps?). I aint surprised he left ICT though, the drugs thing was always going to have an effect.
  24. No thanks, I can't stand bagpipes, like nails on a blackboard. And please change that dreadful tune when the team come out. It's horrible.
