  1. Oh dear someone forgot to turn this brain on this morning.
  2. Tonight's performance for me was decent. ICT looked organised, and I was surprised at just how poor Motherwell looked at times. They looked no better than some of teams I've seen in Division 1 this season. Esson and the rest of the back for were very good on the face of things, were very good defensively though they could with more practice on their distribution at times. Tokely at left back was a bit of a strange one and he had a quiet game by his standards but still did quiet well. In the midfield, Cox looked productive, while Duncan had a rather quiet game (whilst also giving the ball away a couple of times). Foran was fairly quiet too, but again wasn't bad but did seem to play very deeply, especially in the second half. Hayes was very good in the time he was on, and it was a shame when he was replaced but he must've been injured. Imrie was excellent throughout, an extremely hard worker and took his goal well. Nice celebration too :022: . I thought Sanchez did okay, as was Eagle when he came on. And then there's Rooney. He did nowt for 90 minutes, is slower than a week in solitary confinement and at times just didn't look interested. Overall a good result for ICT, but they need wins like that in the First Division first and foremost.
  3. So Tokely was at left back tonight. How do you think he did? Personally, when I first saw him lining up there I thought it was going to be somewhat of a disaster, but he did all right. On the whole, he did have a rather quiet game by his standards and at times did seem to want to cut inside obviously due to the fact he wasn't on his natural side, but on the whole he wasn't bad. What did you make of Tokely in that position?
  4. Aye, apparently it's 1-0 already, a Lionel bullet header!
  5. According to the BBC gossip column on the Text, it says that Pellegrino is coming over to this country soon to have a trial with Celtic.
  6. I also thought that, it wasn't just us that thought that though, Billy stark had him down as one of the best younsters in scotland in the paper a couple of months back. it is clear that we only play players that are on a wage at this club. If he was that good then surely there would have been bigger teams in for him when we released him. Not that big a loss for me and cant see him going onto bigger and better things Really? But then again, you do seem to be one those posters that think Butcher is the greatest thing to happen to ICT ever... Whilst location is a big factor in why sides like Hamilton do so well, I have thought myself that perhaps at times ICT have cast the net too far to look for players. There must surely be one or two local guys, perhaps even in the Highland League, who have potential, and with perhaps a bit of training could make the step up to this level.
  7. I always thought (as did many others) that Iain Vigurs was ICT's big prospect. Unfortunately Butcher didn't agree.
  8. HT - ICT 0-1 Motherwell FT - ICT 0-3 Motherwell ICT 1st scorer - No scorer Motherwell 1st scorer - Jutkiewicz Attendance - 2,378
  9. I read that in the week. Seems rather convenient....
  10. First of all I'm not a caller, I'm a poster on a forum. Secondly my 'point' was to help you find an answer to your question, to do so I highlighted what the OP said which answered your question directly :D Anyway I reakon we'll go with: Edit: Took it out as it's the same as Iamthecaptain, and my attempt at putting the names in the correct positions was dreadful. Oh right, I get it now. Let's just blame the OP, it was his post that got me confused in the first place. You really are just like Jimi Hendrix with that reply box aren't you.
  11. When he left ICT he went to Hibs. He got his current SFA job just after leaving Hibs.
  12. This all makes me wonder if the powers that be would rather see the club go bankrupt than give Robbo the managers job. To be honest, part of me thinks that they probably would.
  13. What I would play - Esson Proctor Bulvitis Munro Shinnie Hayes Cox McBain Imrie Rooney Foran Subs - Allison, Duncan, Barrowman/Sanchez, Odhiambo, Tokely I keeping Proctor in for now as I thought he was good in the last game. What I think Butcher will play - Esson Tokely Bulvitis Munro Golabek Cox Duncan Hayes Sanchez Foran Rooney
  14. And your point is caller? When others put these up, the aim of it is to show what you would do if you were taking the team for that game. From OP comments, it gets confusing compared to what these threads are normally about.
  15. I would be quite keen you look to other countries for a new boss. In particular, I'd look at countries who are renowned to play good attacking football (Spain, Netherlands, Portugal, Brazil etc.), and look at candidates who are out of a job but have some success at this level in their respective countries. Bringing someone in who is not as well known, with some new ideas I believe could be very effective.
  16. Is this for what team you would play, or what you think the team'll be?
  17. Have to agree there. Some seem to view Robbo as being a bit of a management god who, if was to get the job, everything would be perfect. I get the feeling that if he was to ever return, it wouldn't be as fruitful as his first spell.
  18. I've always been a fan of buying CDs. Whilst I do use iTunes for individual songs I like, but don't want to buy the whole album, or also cause I can't find the album anywhere. I've never once downloaded a whole album, mainly because I like having the whole package you get with the CD. I like reading the wee book and all that stuff.
  19. I doubt Shearer would come back with Robbo. After all, they've never worked together and went to Aberdeen with Paterson.
  20. What makes you so sure of that? From what I can tell, he'd be the one of the least likely of the inevitable main candidates, mainly because his supposed dislike of by Sutherland.
  21. Doesn't this all show, what a sorry embarrassment of a football club ICT have become.
  22. I see Sky Sports have just confirmed that Calderwood has got the job.
  23. Were Bradford not in the Premiership when he was in charge?
