I don't think that's true. Kahn was a great captain, as is Cassilas in Spain, and not forgeting Schmeichel. He was a leader and could easily comminicate with everyone on the pitch cause he never stopped shouting. I seem to mind reading an interview with Brewster round about the time of Munro's appointment in which said he asked the players who they'd want to be captain after Dods left... As far as I can remember he said the players' decision was unanimous. I seem to recollect something similar but Charlie Christie felt that centre-half was the best position for a captain so he went with Munro. Poor choice in my book.

Darren Dods would be immense if he came back but I'm not sure he'd come back now. As mentioned before, loaning in Hutchison from Celtic would be good but what about a return of the legend that is Bobby Mann? From what I hear, he's still got it, and has the leadership ICT need to try and get back to the SPL.

Who should be ICT captain next season? For me the only decent option should be Tokely. He's the only one who shows any captain qualities (thoughs being leader etc.). From what I can see, hoofer Grant shouldn't be anywhere near the captaincy. He isn't a leader at all, though there really is now ultra-strong candidate at ICT anymore, that went with Dods. Discuss.

Well the games a week away and as this is a friendly you can experiment a bit. I'd go for - Esson Tokely Duff Munro Cox Proctor McBain Djebi-Zadi Odhiambo Rooney Foran Subs - K Wilson, Imrie, Duncan, Barrowman, Gillespie, McGuire, Morrison Tactics - Keep the ball on the deck and play it to the wings. Cox and Djebi-Zadi should stay within 10 feet of the line at all times. Three up front to score as many goals as possible to get the confidence up from puting the ball in the net. Put two or three players on at half-time and then a few more as the second half goes on. I'd be quite keen to see how well Lionel Djebi-Zadi does at right wing and try out David Proctor in central-midfield.

I'm with you tmftj. The quality of posts generated these days certainly leaves a lot to be desired. And don't get me started on the standard of spelling and grammar used in them! I agree. This forum seems to have become overrun with illitirate pre-teens in the last few months.

I tell you what irritates me, is whenever an ICT story comes up on the Inverness Courier or Highland News website, the comments on it thing are always from people who call themselves things like "Smug Ex-Caley Fan" and stuff and go on and on about how they want ICT to go bust. If you go on there's an article on Hastings getting back in the Canada squad, and some gloating ex-Caley moron comes on to talk about something rather unrelated (his/her willingness to see ICT fail). Oh well, most are in the sunset of their years now, and hopefully their sun sets very soon.

What are things people do that you just don't understand? I was looking at P&B a minute ago and one of the things folk do that I don't undrrtsand if clapping at the end of flights. Why? I've been on quite a few long haul flights and I've had the erge to applaud at the end. After all it's the onboard computer that controls the plane most of the time anyway. Does anyone else know of stuff people do, that you just don't understand?

I would actually disagree with you there, and argue that Tokely doesn't have the pace to play centre-half, cause if anyone get's past him whilst he's playing there, as you can see with the Falkirk player, he won't catch them. From what I've seen he's better at trying to defend crosses and stuff, and someone does get past him then it isn't as fatal as it would be at centre-half. Also I reckon ICT lose a lot of the attack down the right when he isn't there.
