  1. The only players I can really see going out on loan are the likes of Nick Ross and Shane Sutherland. These sorts of players.
  2. As it isn't an important fixture, I'll change it about a bit: Esson Cox Duff Hastings McBain Tokely Stratford Duncan Eagle Rooney Djebi-Zadi Subs - Allison, Proctor, Ross, Imrie, Munro
  3. What about this to run out to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P93cI_u1mng? Good tune, and could make a good fan anthem as well. Far better than that Highland Cathedral cringefest. No wonder opposition fans must think Inverness is still stuck in the dark ages. Out comes the teams and their point is proven.
  4. What about that left-back/left midfielder Tonet who was at Saint Mirren. Some Spanish bloke who was released at the end of the season.
  5. I can't understand people who ultra-post on threads. Have a look at some of the dimwits on the "Whoever Posts Last Wins" thread. It's quite sad really.
  6. Livi were living well beyond their means LONG before Gretna even got into the SFL really? At least Gretna went out with a bang while Livi have been disolving very slowly for years It's better to burn out than to fade away as Neil Young once said. In the 1970s. It was the "Rust Never Sleeps" album I think. When did I say that??? So what is 63-year-old Neil Young doing these days? :( Still going strong from I can see.
  7. Agreed with Bayne, not very fast and not a prolific scorer but he sure put pressure on the opposition defence. Wyness - God no. He's been dreadful for about five years and in season 06/07 and most of 07/08 his performances were painful to watch. No thanks. Juanjo - Perhaps.
  8. That Ben Hutchinson from Celtic would be a good one to loan in.
  9. Alright then... I'd go with Esson Tokely Duff Munro Hayes Cox Stratford McBain Imrie Foran Barrowman Subs - Allison, Djebi-Zadi, Hastings, Proctor, Rooney, Sutherland, Gillespie Thought my other idea is this: -----------------------------Esson--------------------------------------- -------------Duff------------Munro------------Hastings------------------- Tokely --------------Cox----------- Stratford----------------Djebi-Zadi---- ----Foran------------------ Barrowman--------------------- Imrie---------- Go 3-4-3 with Tokely and Lionel as the far wide men. They should be withing 10 yards of the touchline at all times. When Hastings has the ball, the whole opposition will move towards that side, when that happens Tokely and Foran should move over on to the right touchline and Hastings knocks it over to them. Since then Foran or Tokely will have the ball, they will have acres of space to run into, eventually being able to cross the ball into the box. Well at least he, (Renegade) seems to have noticed what Rossco's best position is. I'm sure renegade was touting Tokely as our creative midfielder not so long ago And I still do, but not as "creative" midfielder, a grafter midfielder as he was in the Hearts away game last season.
  10. Miller's far too old and still rather tubby.
  11. I'm not having a go at him, I'm just hoping the board doesn't do the inevitable and employ him as boss. Before Brew came back many many people on here said it would be a disaster (myself included), and turned out to be right. Now I'm saying the Board shouldn't do the inevitable and give Malpas the job, which would no doubt be another disaster. Would you be pleased if you woke up tomorrow and found out Butcher had gone and the board had given Malpas the job? I wouldn't. He may be a good assistant, but as an out and out manager he is pretty inept.
  12. Well it's pretty simple: Brewster Managerial Career - ICT (1st spell) - Relative Success - Dundee United - DISASTER - ICT (2nd spell) - DISASTER Malpas Managerial Career - Motherwell - DISASTER The fans hated him and campaigned for his dismissal sound familliar. - SWINDON - DISASTER Need I say more?
  13. That's not really what I meant, I reckon it's almost inevitable that whenever Butcher goes Malpas will get the managers job, and to put it frankly, that'll Brewster MK2.
  14. Actually I was going to post thuis thread no matter what. In fact, I was also going to post a thread called "Dear Mr Brewster" last season, but when I got rounf to it IHE had just made one called "Dear Craig", so you can send me that quid whenever you like. I do agree with you to an extent though, if ICT go lets 10 games and it doesn't look good then that is the time to start looking at Butcher carefully, if by say Christmas time, it aint looking good, then I for one will call for Butcher to step aside (and take that clueless Malpas with him [don't want him as boss, oh God no!]).
  15. This has nothing to do with the game the other day, I would've put this thread up whatever the score had been, and even if there hadn't been a game at all. The man's had six months to show us what he can do, and he's seems to be dead set on playing as a Tokely centre-half when it is obvious it is not his best postition, went with a Division One keeper at best, dropping an experienced and all round better keeper when the results were most vital and seems to go with Brewster-esque hoofing. It was things like this that meant his careers at his other clubs (except Motherwell) went down in flames. I'm just giving Butcher a helpful hint, especially when these things are extremely obvious.
  16. I'm still working out my tactics for next season, but they're the best yet, and much simpler too. I'm post them on here in a couple of days. Actually you'll find I didn't say ICT should sign rugby players, I was talking about internationalists from these countries.
  17. A - He'd never come and B - he's rubbish. That was those two Slovakians who played in the recent friendly. Butcher said he didn't rate them.
  18. HT - Dunfermline 1-0 ICT FT - Dunfermline 2-1 ICT Dunfermline 1st scorer - Burke ICT 1st scorer - Cox Attendance - 2,798
  19. Livi were living well beyond their means LONG before Gretna even got into the SFL really? At least Gretna went out with a bang while Livi have been disolving very slowly for years It's better to burn out than to fade away as Neil Young once said.
  20. Without being disrespectful, do we really need another one of these RIP threads?
  21. Agreed, look at what happens when someone dies, whom we've never heard of. In come the simpathy gang RIP, RIP, RIP. Someone starts a thread on it, and then there's more RIP, RIP. Wait it's the 568th anniversary of some event that happened ages before we were born. RIP, RIP. Someone starts a thread on it and in come some cringeworthy remarks, and no doubt more RIPs. Some people seem to get sexual pleasure from constantly posting RIP. Let's get over it poeple, wh don't need a thread on everyone who dies.
  22. Dear Mr Butcher, You're obviously a well known man, who has a great knowledge of football. The only problem is that there's some stuff that ICT need to do, and if ICT are going to win the First Division, there's some stuff that really needs changing. Please, please, please get Tokely out of the central defence role. He's a right back and that's where he plays best. He isn't Darren Dods or Bobby Mann and can't read the game from this position. Also ICT lose a heck of a lot of attack down the right. Move him back there ASAP. For someone who was such a legendary England defender, I'm surprised you can't see this. If this Bulvitas signs up, and he's up to it. Play him at centre-back at all times. Find some else to be captain. Munro is not a captain and ICT really need one to progress at this level. Tokely is probably the best candidate for now. Give it too him. If Russell Duncan can't pass, then drop him. I'm sorry, but I don't thnk I've ever seen a worse passer of the ball. And last but not least: For the love of God boot these long ball tactics to the skip outside Caley Stadium. They are just horrific to watch. It was the hoofs forward that was a big factor in Brewster's fall from grace and they could be yours as well, if you don't boot them. Stick to the old simple slinky style Paterson used to play. Keep the ball on the deck as much as possible and play to the wings. Caley Stdium is built for this sort of play. Surely you don't want your ICT career to go the way of your Brentford, Sunderland, Coventry and Sydney ones do you? Hell, you even finished last one year with Motherwell and it was only Brockville that saved you from going down. Do you really want to be like Ossie Ardiles and put your name forward for every job under the sun? Of course not. Please take the time to read these suggestions and hopefully integrate them into the team of ICT. Yours sincerly Renegade Persident of Renegade Inc.
  23. Does that make Ross the youngest ICT first team player ever?
  24. Esson Stratford Tokely Munro Djebi-Zadi Ross Cox Duncan Hayes Foran Barrowman I think from the other thread.
  25. I can understand your sentiment to a degree but this is a bit of a"dodgy" area. Talking of living life in such a terrible way every day. What about people suffering from depression? Receiving treatment for cancer? Also, some people who are disabled may not want to be singled out but instead included just like everyone else. True that's what makes it a bit of a sticky wicket. So what about under 16s. Under that logic it's not someones fault they're not under 16, so under 16s should pay the whole price. Isn't that "discrimination" against over 16s? What about pensioners? Is it not discrimination that they get in cheaper as they're old? Surely the disabled can get the same sort of thing, and probably deserve it more too. I can understand your sentiment to a degree but this is a bit of a"dodgy" area. Talking of living life in such a terrible way every day. What about people suffering from depression? Receiving treatment for cancer? Also, some people who are disabled may not want to be singled out but instead included just like everyone else. your bang on in what you have said, Most Disabled folk dont want to be treated different, and as mentioned the club provides an area that is easly accessable for chairs and less abled bodys to watch the game. your post Reg does show you care all the same, but need to do some reading up on disabled people in the Work place and the likes, you will find that if facilitys are provieded and they can do what us abled bodyed people can do then they feel less disabled.. One paragraph in the document i was reading asked.. is a blind person disabled in his own house with no lights on? meaning if I went in to there house with no lights on I'd be "in theroy be less abled to find my way around" its a very interesting subject, another quote was "In a Mall/Shopping center, what makes a less abled person disabled when they have lift and ramps in to every shop" Over to you's for debate (I like SMEE can be regarded as Disabled to a degree, due to the possiblity of having MS) but I would always do my best if it came to it to be as able bodyed as possible....) As you've said I'm not an expert on the comings and goings of the disabled, but then again they could choose to take up the offer or turn it down should they not wish to participate in it.
