Month Of Home Games
I think we are capable of getting more than a draw at Aberdeen... Definitely should have taken 3 points off United on Saturday. We're gradually starting to gain a wee bit of confidence now and have become a very tough side to beat again...

Robbo Returns
Hi Robbo Stirred a few memories with mentions of all these great players there... Can you mind Neil Berry? I think he ran the players' social club at Tynecastle during the early nineties. He left Hearts for Falkirk then seemed to disappear. Do you know where he is now and what he's doing?

Robbo Returns
I admire the guy for his candid responses to all or most of the questions that have been posed on here. Sadly I don't think it did his chances of landing the manager's job at ICT any good at all...

Foran And Proctor ?
Stan.... If you had come on as a sub for Foran yesterday I doubt if anyone would have noticed any difference.

Lionel prevented a couple of dead cert Utd goals with brilliant clearances from in and around the 6 yard box...

Foran And Proctor ?
I thought Proctor was excellent yesterday.... covered every blade of grass and looked comfortable on the ball. No lack of effort or commitment from him. Put in a few decent tackles.. another player who has enjoyed a transformation under Butcher. Foran has shown a few decent touches, but is very patchy... looks short of match practice to me.

Dundee Utd V Inverness Ct On Bbc Alba
I must say the Alba TV coverage, while maybe not up to Sky Sports standards, is pretty good... The commentary is a bit hard to follow all the same - is it in Swahili? I was able to make out odd words here and there such as tangerine, united, Russel Duncan, red card... Wouldn't it be better if they could get hold of English speaking commentators for future games?

Djebi-zadi
Without a doubt he's the most improved player in the side since TB arrived. He had little or no confidence at all, when playing under Brewster... What a transformation. Hard to see Hastings getting his place back in the side now...

Dundee United -v- Ict : Matchday Thread
Just watched the whole thing on Alba, having successfully managed to avoid hearing the score through the day... Mid-way through the second half I was convinced 3 points were in the bag - we completely dominated the game and only lacked someone up front to fnish Utd off... Terrible howler from Imrie - who deserved his MoM, when he had a choice of scoring himself or laying it on a plate for Eric... He chose to hit it weakly straight at Zaluska... Although I would have happily accepted a point at the start of this one I was surprised to see TB looking so pleased at the end. If I had been in his place I would have been blo0dy annoyed that we didn't manage to finish this one off... Zebadee must have been another contender for MoM... what a signing he's proved to be. It was a deserved red card for Russel - they would have scored if he hadn't made that sacrifice.

I'm off to bed now... going to surface at 8pm and watch it "live" on the Alba channel.!! Good luck guys...

And you are a complete **** who doesn't deserve to be on this planet. That, I believe, is personal abuse towards another poster. Not going to hit the report button but you should use some common sense WynessLegend. Birdog, are you doing a course for moderators at the moment? I reckon you could pass with flying colours! I'm inclined to agree with WynessLegend, although I would have couched my language in more moderate terms.

Hi!i Come From Hong Kong
Hello Hello... How do you do... Are you, by any chance IHE's tattoist? I think we should be told.

Robbo Returns
Hi Robbo Pleased to see you acknowledge Pavels has been a good signing.... Thinking about him, don't you think you were a wee bit unfair when you accused the ICT players of conning the ref as to where the alleged foul on Fernandez took place? Wouldn't you also agree (with the benefit of tv replays) it was never a foul anyway - Pavells won the ball cleanly, then Fernandez took another 3 steps forward and collapsed in a heap inside the box - he should have been booked....

Dundee Utd V Inverness Ct On Bbc Alba
Work commitments tomorrow will prevent me from getting to Dundee... Wonder if I could survive the afternoon/evening avoiding TV, radio, text messages etc, from Tannerdump until 8pm when I can prop myself up in front of the box with a carry-out and imagine I'm watching it live...

Dundee Utd Game In Doubt?
Good news that it's game on... Will a heavy pitch tend to favour us or them? Thoughts...?

Dundee Utd Game In Doubt?
Can't quite understand this comment of Leveins... "I'd hoped the heating could be put on to give us the opportunity to train on grass for the first time in a week," manager Craig Levein told BBC Scotland. "But there's been so much snow that it has proved impossible. I'm inclined to agree with Muir-Jaggie (above) Clear as much snow as possible from the pitch and leave the heating on... There's any amount of cheap labour in Dundee... They could start by recruiting these council workers that have been sent home..

Inverness Courier
Yeap... same here. When R.Scotland came back to Robbo after the game he was still going on about it.... saying it was the only major talking point in an otherwise poor game... I thought two excellent ICT goals should have been a major talking point..
-
Inverness Courier
I had a good view of the Pavels "no penalty" incident... it was a fair tackle by Pavels outside the box, as tv highlights confirmed... Fernandez should have been booked for cheating... I also had an MP3 player stuck in my lug-hole at the time tuned to Radio Scotland and couldn't believe Robbo's comments.... Such as : "ICT got out of jail with that decision..." "ICT players conned the ref by pointing out other marks in the snow where they claimed the tackle had taken place" (That's a pretty damming comment - slanderous maybe even) "It was a stonewall penalty" He's always sounded very supportive of Caley in the past, but as others on this thread have suggested that would no longer now appear to be the case. The connection with the Courier report is that I wondered if their reporter had been influenced by Robbo's comments.
-
Inverness Courier
Could it be that the reporter based his/her judgement on John Robertson's remarks on Radio Scotland in which he accused our players of conning the referee into where the tackle took place? Robbo got it badly wrong saying it was a stonewall penalty.... Maybe a wee bit of sour grapes creeping in now, because he didn't get the job.

Is It Time To Punt Mcguire?
Hang on to him for the time being as cover until hopefully, Mihadjuks can be tied to a decent contract. That might be difficult until we know what division we will be in next season.
-
Inverness Courier
Today's Courier report of Saturday's cup tie makes interesting reading.... Quote : "Mihadjuks nearly went from hero to villain on the stroke of half time. His desperate attempts to halt David Fernandez from a clear run on goal looked to have brought about a penalty for Kilmarnock as referee Iain Brines initially gestured towards the spot. It was on the face of it a brave decision given that the snow had obscured all the lines on the field, but to the surprise of everyone, not least visiting boss Jim Jeffries, he then changed his mind and awarded Killie a free kick on the edge of the area" I was at the game and had a decent view of the "incident". Pavels slide tackled Fernandez outside the area, and connected cleanly with the ball - not the player. Fernandez took a couple more steps into the box and then went down - somewhat dramatically. TV highlights clearly showed exactly what happened. Fernandez should have been booked for cheating. The Courier's report on the match might have made worthwhile reading if had it appeared in some Kilmarnock rag..

Updated: Scottish Cup Quarter Final Draw
Three wins would be great, but I'd be very happy to settle for two in the league..
